The goblins I had tailed up to this point went into the cave and after a few minutes of observing the entrance I was sure that they wouldn't come back out.
"They are just goblins, but it would still be really risky."
If my guess is correct I could probably increase my senses like I did with my strength up until now. There is one situation that you are almost for sure dead if you encounter it. It's when you can't see anything, it's a big weakness to only rely on your eyes, because if you can't see anything you are almost surely dead even if your opponent is weaker than you. If they can see in the dark of hear better than you or basically just have better senses you'll normally stand no chance.
"But that's why I have to go."
I really don't know any other way to strengthen my senses other than actually engaging a situation like the one I am about to face. If I go into this cave I will probably not be able to see anything and only have to rely on my other senses and in this world the limit of your physical strength seems to be a lot higher, maybe even non existent. It would be almost impossible for a fourteen year old boy in my previous world to get as strong and fast as me currently. And that just in a few weeks, so I have to take the risk, even if I could easily die in the process.
"Let's just go, I thought enough about it."
I was quickly nearing the cave while I tried to hear if something was coming out of it.
"Seems safe."
I quickly entered the cave and was rushing towards some kind of place I would be able to hide myself for a bit. First I have to get accustomed to the environment, I thought and I entered one of the entrances that were going away from the entrance to the cave. It was getting darker and darker and as I suspected there were no torches or any kind of light in the cave. While walking along in the corridor I tried to use all of my senses besides my sense of sight. I tried to hear every sound, tried to smell anything in my surroundings, I tried to feel the tiniest vibrations on the floor I was standing on and the walls I was following with my hands. I tried to create a feeling that would combine and strengthen all of my senses besides my sense of sight, after all there was no need for it right now and you normally use it all the time so it is already quite good.
After walking around for a few minutes I was a bit confused, because the cave seemed to be incredibly large and although I had to turn a few times I didn't notice any goblin around me. If this cave is so large, then how many goblins could live in here? That thought was becoming more and more apparent the longer I walked and also I was curious as to how strong the strongest goblin in this cave would be, will he just be a normal goblin that just so happens to be a good leader, is the leader someone way stronger than the normal goblins or maybe they don't even have a leader. Well even if it's dangerous, because I can't see them and my senses are still really weak I have to find food, in other words I will probably have to somehow find and kill a goblin and then eat his flesh. It's disgusting to think about, but searching for food, when not being able to see anything is like searching for a needle in a haystack, but not even being able to see it if you are right in front of it. It should still be relatively bright outside, so the goblins are probably still awa-
"Raku ta kon te rero urre..."
I heard the sounds of someone speaking just around a corner. It sounded like the goblin was angry and I didn't hear any other goblins near. I was actually lucky enough to find a goblin, before he found me, I thought that and hid around the corner not trying to make any sounds. The goblin came closer and closer and his voice seemed louder the closer he came. I could hear his footsteps and slightly fell the vibrations of them, also I could smell his foul stench and I tried to combine the feeling of all those sensory impressions and when he was just around the corner and I could hear him almost near me... I swung my sword at the place I imagined his neck to be. I was ready to swing my sword again, but he didn't make any sounds, but I definitely heard the sound of my sword cutting into flesh and I could hear the blood flowing onto the ground. I checked his corpse and I actually beheaded him in one strike with my sword. That was definitely lucky, after all he wasn't able to shout for help before dying. The blood would definitely be discovered, so I opened my beg and put his corpse into it, he was really tiny and weighed not too much, so I could carry him in my bag. I quickly left and ran as quietly as possible in the direction I came from and after running for a few minutes and turning a lot of times I was sure that they wouldn't be able to trail me to here. The corpse shouldn't have left a blood trail, because I put it in my bag, so they shouldn't be able to find me just because of that. So I sat down to rest and put the goblin's corpse out of my bag and started to eat it's flesh. Alone in the darkness of the cave. I could feel myself getting stronger by the day and although it could only be an illusion I felt like my senses already got a bit sharper, so I was happy and with that feeling I tried to weaken the horrible taste of the flesh of the goblin.
