They got to the field early enough to get good parking and good staff seats. Ven kept stealing glances at Thoko throughout the game and Thoko pretended not to notice. Of course, HSE's Griffins won and Bryan was the MVP.
As the boys got dressed Will told Bryan to hurry up. Bryan shot Will a curious look. "Za's waiting," Will replied stuffing his things into his bag.
Bryan nodded and packed up quickly. As they got out of the locker room they were flooded with congratulations and invitations to parties off-campus. When they got to Bryan's truck Thoko was there talking to Coach about the game.
"Well done Toni! It was such a great game." She looked up and saw the boys approaching. "Oh! Here are my boys. See you tomorrow then." She turned to the boys.
"Great game guys. Keep this up and you'll both be getting scholarships. Not that you need them." Coach called to the boys from his car that was three cars away from where Bryan had parked.
