Dear Journal,
So, today's fun game. I've been through so many different types a sport; I should be nervous. But here I am, shaking and worried. I know the coach will try and give us a pep talk, but I don't know. Maybe I'll do good, or terrible.
I also have decided not to tell Thomas about the whole Alex problem. At least, not yet. I want to tell him when everything is back to, somewhat normal. At least in my life. If that means after June leaves and after angel girl leaves, then so be it. Also speaking of angel girl.
I did some googling and it turns out, angel girl is a hallucination. I think it's called Chemical Inhalation. I kind of wonder if Thomas has any symptoms. Anyway, I should ask him. Also, she is fucking annoying and basic.
"You know, you don't have to be rude."~ She says, rolling her eyes. That's what you are! You're here, and I don't want you to be here! I sigh, as I hear someone behind me walking up to me. I quickly turn around, only to find Grey-Man, face covered by the shadow of his hood.
"Hey man, what happened?" I ask as he waves a hand at me. "They still want me to go to school, which is cool, I guess. But I can't play football anymore, which isn't good." He explains as I hum understandingly. "Well, as much as I want to say I told you so, I'm not going to, because I'm nice." He punches my shoulder, chuckling.
"Everyone was worried about you man, but I didn't tell them what happened. It isn't my story to tell." I say shrugging, leaning back on my now closed locker. He softly closes his locker, before turning to me, English book in hand, "Let them worry." He says simply, taking the lead in walking ahead of me.
We walk to English and instantly get flooded with questions from Starla, mostly about if Grey-Man is ok. "Are you positive? You looked pretty bad in the photos." She says hesitantly, whispering so the teacher doesn't notice us talking. "I swear, I'm perfectly fine." He says, taking a vape out of his pocket, taking a hit, before placing it back in his pocket.
I look at Starla, before back at him. "I thought your parents found out about vaping," I whisper, making sure Starla didn't hear. Grey-Man scoffs. "They did, they found one of my vapes, but I have two." He says smirking, before going back to his work.
Starla looks at me skeptically, and I only shrug mouthing, I guess he doesn't want to talk about it. She nods her head, and the conversation goes silent.
I walk into the cafeteria a couple of strides ahead of Grey-Man, so everyone notices me first. Katie and Thomas wave me over, and I quickly smile at them, right when Grey-Man walks through with me. Their faces turn still, even Jonathan looks up from his food to look at him.
"Are you sure you didn't tell them?" He asks me, a smirk on his face. I roll my eyes, before walking up to the table. The table is silent, the sounds of other students' conversations fill our ears. Though, Thomas is the first one to say anything. "Hey, Grey-Man. You ok?" He asks simply, glancing up at the grey streaked hair. Grey-Man shrugs, scooting his food around.
"I guess, as ok as it's going to get." He says as I can hear someone with heels walking up to us. "Hi, Mark!" The girl says, her happy go lucky voice returning. JJ. I sigh, before turning around in my seat, smiling. "Hi, JJ. What's up?" I say, trying to give her a cheery smile.
"Oh, nothing. I heard about the party happening after the game, and I was wondering if we could hang out after the party." She looks at me, gives me a wink, before going back to smiling. Oh, god. "Wait, is she suggesting, you know what."~ This is why I broke up with her.
"Uh, I don't know, I think I'm just going to stay back," I say, hoping she would get the idea. She sighs, looking down innocently. "How could she be innocent when she just asked you to have sex?"~ Woman works in mysterious ways. "I just, I wanted to hang out with you." I could hear Thomas groan from the side, and facepalm, though JJ gives him no mind.
"Please, it would be fun." She says, her voice lowering, so only I and she could hear it. But I guess Thomas heard too, since he quickly stood up, gaining her attention, before smiling at her. "Since Park doesn't want to do it, fine I will. Because trust me when I say this, I don't hear this.
"He doesn't want you. Ok? He doesn't want to go out with you either, god can you get that through your head? I know, heartbreak hurts, but please, let him go, for the sake of us all. We don't need to hear your innuendo flirting techniques you got off of YouTube." The entire table goes silent, as JJ glares at Thomas, before stomping off.
God, what am I going to do about JJ? "Simple, kill her, kiss him."~
Thomas sits back down, before going back to his food, acting as nothing happened. "Wow, so Mr. Goody-two-shoes has a bad side. Hm." Jonathan says, looking at Thomas. "I kind of just got tired of her trying to get with Parker. It was making all of us, uncomfortable." He says shrugging. I look at him and smile. "Aw, you care about me," I said, poking his shoulder, though he scoots away.
"No, I care about our well beings." He says simply, before taking a bite of his mashed potatoes. "That still counts," I say smiling, before looking down at my plate. "He was jealous."~ No, he, really wasn't, just was tired of JJ's antics. "You know, you should tell him about the texts. That would probably make him single, so you can date him."~ Well that would be impossible since I'm straight.
"Yeah right, straight as a circle."~ I'm being serious. I don't even like boys. "I know when you're lying."~ Then you should know I'm not lying now. "Whatever you say. But, trust me, I know how you I know you just trying to ruin my life. "Am I succeeding?"~
Nope. I watch as Starla plays with a piece of Grey-Man's hair, as Katie talks to Jonathan about, something. "Hey, Park. I was thinking, do you want to come over to my house and study there, since we did almost blow up the school." Thomas says chuckling. "OMG, he is totally in love!"~I shrug, ignoring angel girls' antics, god I need a name for her.
"I guess yeah, I'm free after school, we just need to get back here before the game," I said, looking over at him. He takes a sip of his milk and smiles at me. "Perfect, you know, you can stay over if you want. It's your choice though." He simply says as I nod. "Yeah, that would be cool. We can leave after the game. Or, if you want to go to the party," I say, trailing off. He laughs.
I don't care, whatever you want to do, I'm fine with." He says, and I nod.
"Party it is."
