Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

"You should probably calm down a smudge bit before you kill someone."~ I walked onto the bleachers, to see Thomas, Sara, Starla, and Katie, all huddled up looking at a phone. Where's Grey-Man? "Maybe he didn't want to see you?"~ I roll my eyes at angel girls' thoughts, as I walked up the bleachers.

"Hey guys," I say, smiling when I got their attention, though they just stared at me. Thomas stood up, walking up to me. Um, why are they staring at me like that? When Thomas was close enough that he could almost touch me with his nose.

He smiles at me, before giving me a tight hug. I freeze in my spot. "What the hell are you doing?! Hug him back!"~ I slowly start to hug back, still confused by what was happening. I looked up at Starla, and she smirked at me. "Thank you." Said Thomas, but his face was muffled by my shirt.

I looked even more confused, as I watched the rest of the group start to gather their bags, me still hugging Thomas. He finally let's go, before giving me another smile. "I'm still confused, why are you saying thank you?" I ask, but before he could say anything Sara explains.

"Jonathan sent us a text, saying you punched the kid that called Thomas a fag. That was cool of you to do that." She says, smiling at him. "You didn't have to do that," Thomas says, still smiling my way. I shrug. "I mean, that was fucked up that he said that," I said, following most of the group back down the bleachers.

"Well still, you didn't have to do that. I mean, you could get suspended." He says, as I just gave him a tight-lipped smile. "It was nothing, if it wasn't for Jonathan, I probably would be suspended," I said, before walking up to the rest of the group, Thomas following closely behind.

"Do you and Park need to get something?" Sara said from behind the wheel. Jonathan looked at me, with a furrowed brow. "Um, I don't think so." He says, looking back at his phone. Sara sighed, before pressing her lips into a thin line. "I'm not going back for you two idiots. Give me an actual answer." She says as Thomas narrowed his eyes at her reflection from the mirror.

"Uh, nope," I said, poking my elbow into the side of Thomas to stop him from glaring. He sighs, before going back to his phone. Why is he so defensive? "And why is he on his phone a lot?"~ Finally, halfway to the party, Thomas gets off his phone, before fidgeting with his shirt.

"Ok, something is wrong."~ Yeah, that is something even I noticed. "Hey Thomas, you ok?" I asked, looking at him jerk his head up. He stared at me for a second, before nodding his head vigorously. "Y-yeah, just texting someone." He says simply, before going back to playing with his shirt. " Ok, now it's really weird."~ Yeah, definitely, but who could he be texting.

"Are you texting? Is it Alex?" I ask, trying not to sound like I hate the man. But I have the right to hate him. Thomas only took out his phone, unlocking it before giving it to me. Confused, I looked at him, tilting my head slightly. "Read today's messages." He says simply, without looking at me. I look down at the android phone before back at him.

"Thomas, why would I do that. That's like an an an invasion of pry-" I start but he quickly talks over me. "Just, read it." He whispers, gesturing to the phone. I sigh, looking at the phone.

Hi Baby!

THOMAS

Baby?

I'm sorry for what I said.

Can you talk to me?

Baby?

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SOMETIMES

I look back at Thomas, and he's looking at me. "Does he always act like this?" I question, my voice low. He sighs, his breath is ragged. "Kind of, and I don't know what to do." He darted his eyes away from me, looking at the window. Katie tapped her shoulder from the other side of me, and I turn around to see a worried-looking Katie.

"His he alright?" She questions, her voice a pitch higher than usual. "Yeah, he's fine," I answer, before turning back to him. I glance at the phone in my hand, before getting an idea. I clicked Alex's contact, and clicked the dropbox, then clicking the word block.

I then turn off the phone, before tapping Thomas's shoulder to get his attention. He quickly jerks his head to me, and I give him a sympathetic smile. "What did you do?" He said worriedly, glancing from me to the phone.

"I just blocked his contact," I start, and his face goes pale. "But you can unblock it tomorrow. For tonight, however, you are going to have fun with me." I said simply, and his face calms down. "And because I don't trust you, I will have your phone," I explain to him, as he sighs, nodding his head.

"Yeah, ok." He says, finally looking at me in the eyes again. "I guess you're right. I need from a break from him." Thomas says, chuckling awkwardly as he combs his hand through his hair. "Exactly, and tonight we'll party.
