Chapter 16 - Chapter 16

When the door closes, the whole house became silent. I contemplated my entire existence as Thomas just stood there, hair hanging over his face. Well damn, what should I do? "Talk to him! You did just ruin his relationship."~ He deserved to know. "Says the guy that was planning on not telling him."~

Thomas walks into the kitchen, going out of my view. Should I follow him? "Uh, if you want to get your ass kicked, go ahead."~ I follow him into the kitchen, though, it was still quiet. He reached for a glass, before filling it up with water. He walked back over to me and handed me the glass.

"Here." He says quietly, as I slowly grabbed the glass from his hand. "Why did he give you a glass?"~ How the hell am I supposed to know?! He walks back over, grabbing another glass, and doing the same thing. Filling it with water, and walking over to the table, sitting on the wooden object.

I watch him take a sip, still not knowing what's happening. "Oh my god, you fell in love with a serial killer."~ I'm not in love! "Well, that sobered me up." Thomas joked, before taking another sip. He glances at my glass, before looking directly into my eyes. "My mom once told me that if you're going to eat after you drank, you always drink water. Helps you not puke the next day." He says simply, before taking another sip.

"Oh, ok."~ Shouldn't he be freaking out? "I-um had a feeling he was cheating. I knew he was toxic, but I felt like I owed him something, because he got my family out of debt. He helped us, so-" He trails off, and somehow I understand the entire story. I look at him sadly, before walking over to him and sitting on the table.

"You don't owe him anything. You never did." I say, wrapping an arm around his shoulder. He was about to take a sip of water, but we heard more knocking coming from the door. We looked at each other with worried eyes. "Alex is going to come back with a chain saw!"~ I shivered at the thought and watched as Thomas got off the table, walking over to the door.

He passes the door, however, instead of walking to the window to peek outside. He sighs, before walking over to the door and answering in. "Hi, uh, thank you." He says nicely, as somebody said something from the other end. He shuts the door, and I breathe out a breath I didn't even know I was holding when I saw a bag with the words. Top China, on it. I sigh in relief.

"Please tell me you didn't get me noodles; I don't like noodles," I whined as he walked over to the table. "I know, you told me that during lunch two days ago." He says, stuffing his hand in the bag, taking out a container of Lo Mein.

He sets the container on the table next to me, before grabbing another black container of Orange Chicken with rice. "I know that you like this though." He says smirking as he handed me the container. I quickly set it down, before jumping off the table and hugging him. "You're my best friend again."

I pulled him upstairs, and into his room. I tugged him onto the bed, before shutting the door behind us. He crawled on top of me, before leaning on my chest, his legs almost straddling me. Almost. "You fucking perve."~ He scooted up until our faces were two inches apart. "You know, I've only known you for less than a week, but I feel like I've known you-"

"But it feels like I've known you forever," I smirk as he chuckles, nodding his head. "Exactly." He grabs my shoulders and pulls me up, and into a sitting position. He climbs on my lap, and I instinctively wrap my arms around his waist. "Your insane, you know that." He whispers, leaning his arms on my shoulders.

I laugh, leaning my head down. "So, what's next in this sleepover?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. Thomas looks at me, before yanking me around, so I'm now straddling him. "Kiss me like a man."

I wake up, the light shining in my eyes. I look around the weird bedroom, this isn't my room? I look around, before glancing at Thomas, all of last night's memories hit me like a rock. Literally and figuratively. God my head hurts.

I slowly start to etch out of bed, grabbing my boxers and quickly put them on. Once on, I slide out of the bedroom, and down the stairs. I walk into the kitchen, and into the fridge, if I can find something to use to make some pancakes, that would be nice. I look into one of the cabinets, finding the pancake mix easily.

I grab the pancake mix, then a bowl, spoon, and other supplies. I start by pouring the powder into the bowl, then the water. I heard someone start to walk downstairs, just as I start to mix the pancake batter. I see Thomas rubbing his eye with one hand while waving with the other.

"Good morning sleepyhead," I say, smirking at him. He smiles at me, before walking over to the mess I've made. "Um, what are you doing?" He asks as I stop mixing the bowl, before placing it on the table. "I'm trying to make pancakes, but I don't know where the pans are," I say, as Thomas chuckles, before pointing to a lower cabinet.

"It should be in there," Thomas says, as I open the cabinet he was pointing to. There were pans of different sizes, and I just grabbed the first one I saw, before closing the cabinet back up. "You didn't have to do this, by the way," Thomas says, leaning to hands on the island.

I shrug my shoulders, as I walk over to the stove, turning the dial to 5. "It's whatever really, I kind of owe you anyways," I say as Thomas scoffs. "What do you owe me for, having the best time of my life," Thomas says, rolling his eyes. I chuckling, walking back over to the island. "No," I said, stealing a kiss from him.

"But that was also, very fun," I said, smirking. Thomas looks confused at me, tilting his head. "Uh, I was talking about the party what were you," I raise my eyebrow, and he must have got the clue because he looks down and away from me. "I hate you." He says, and I laugh.

"That's not what you told me last-" He doesn't let me finish, because he slaps me on the arm. We hear a car pull up, and Thomas's eyes go wide. "Shit that's my parents." He whispers, before turning back to me. "Do they know I'm here?" I ask him quickly, and he nods his head. "But they don't know I'm gay, so run upstairs and take one of my shirts. I nod, quickly running up the stairs right as I hear two people walk up the steps.
