FRIDAY NIGHT(Adina's p.o.v.)~
I was waiting again in the forest. At correct 10, same 4 people came out. The brother's entered the forest but the other 2 stopped near the edge of the forest and stood there with their backs turned towards the forest.
For 3 days straight, the same routine took place. I tried to wait up but there was no sign of them coming back from the deepness of the forest any time soon. Today, I decided to stay here and wait for their return, no matter how long it took. I want to know why? why they venture in the forest in this pitch black darkness at night when everybody else is slumbering peacefully in their homes?
I waited and waited, a few yawns escaped my lips but I was not ready to give in today. It was soon gonna turn one and my eyelids started to droop. I rubbed my eyes and slapped myself lightly to chase away the drowsiness. The atmosphere around me was serene and cool wind was blowing which made it nearly impossible for me to stay awake but my stubborn self won't give in.
I closed my eyes, sighed and leaned myself against the tree trunk. I could hear the crickets and several other insects chirping, owls hooting and suddenly some ....footsteps? I opened my eyes, alarmed at hearing the footsteps. It sounded like someone was running and so the dried up leaves were crackling on the forest ground in it's wake. I squinted my eyes and tried to make out what it was in the deeper part of the forest. Two men silhouettes appeared from the shadows. I couldn't see them clearly as the moon was hidden by the clouds.
The footsteps neared and slowed down. They were now walking back towards the edge of the forest. Suddenly, the clouds overshadowing the moon were blown away by the wind and the nearly full moon appeared and casted its dimly illuminating light all over the place.
As soon as I saw the twins under the moonlight, I gasped. The low voice that escaped my lips was the worst mistake I ever did. The brother's attention turned towards the direction where I was hiding and I covered my lips by both my hands. For a minute, I stopped breathing.
For the first time in my whole life, I was terrified to death and regretted my decisions. I could feel the colour draining my face. The sight in front of me was terrible and horrific to say the least. Both the boys were covered in blood. Their clothes had splashes of blood here and there, their hands painted red and their... their lips. I now didn't wanna hear the answer to all my 'why(s)?'
They inhaled deeply, closing their eyes like they were trying to make out my scent. I had to run away. I can't just sit there. My reflexes took over me. I stood up with great caution and took a deep breath. My legs started running on their own, taking me away from ... from whatever it was. I was running and running, chanting in my mind that 'plz God, save me this once. I need to get out of here.. of this damned forest.'
While running, my head collided with something strong and.... muscular? and I fell back on the dampened forest floor. As I fell, my eyes were shut close and when I slowly opened them, I was hoping to whatever God that was up there looking at me right now that it was 'just a tree trunk. I was NOT caught. I can get up and run away' but my fate had something else planned for me.
As I hesitantly looked up front, my eyes met a pair of smoldering emerald green eyes which were full of fury and... was that anguish? My breathing became shallow and I started to feel dizzy. A pair of hands, scooped me up and was taking me somewhere. I blacked out. I hoped, it was all just a bad dream.

p.s.- This is a fantasy so I'm making my own rules. I know in most of the stories, vampires have super powers and they are immortal and blah blah blah!! ... but here in my story they aren't immortal and don't worry, I'll explain everything about them as the story will progress but still if you get confused anywhere feel free to comment and ask me. xoxo😘.
