We continued to eat dinner and after dinner we walked along the night market and did a little shopping before he sent me back to my hotel and walked me to the lift lobby
"I had a lot of fun tonight , thank you for everything . ``I said , " I had fun too and thank you for letting me try smelly tofu , I'll see you tomorrow for dinner . " he said with glee . I nodded my head in response and just nice the lift came and I entered the lift and we bid our goodbyes . I entered my room, threw all the shopping bags aside and started working on my presentation .
Not too long later I fell asleep on the bed with my laptop on …
Next day …
I woke up as usual, got breakfast and went straight back to my room to finish off what i haven't since yesterday and i am behind schedule despite its already 3 days into my trip and i have to present it tomorrow afternoon. . .
When i had coffee done and set aside an email came in
" Hi This is Damien from KKP. I thought you might find this email useful since I totally forgot to ask you for your number yesterday before you left. I hope I have gotten the right email. I laughed throughout this whole email i was reading and yeah i did text him on telegram which took him 5 seconds to reply woah his guy is quick despite being afraid of smelly tofu . We texted throughout the day and he even sent me pictures of him in suits asking me to pick one which i told him to choose for himself and i am in no sorta mood to entertain him now i have work to do i set aside my phone and focused on my work .
I am finally finished with my presentation ! i looked at phone oh no its 6 pm the dinner starts at 6.30 ah crap i quickly gathered all my things and quickly took bath get dressed put on some makeup and was ready 3 mins before 6.30PM impressive.
I went down to the ball room and registered myself. While I was registering I got a tap on my shoulder , I turned around and saw it was Damien looking all stunning and amazing and didn't pick out the suits he chose .
"Look at you , so stunning and beautiful . " Damien kisses my cheek . I simply smiled and complimented him back and grabbed a red wine from the waiter that just walked by . We walked and talked and ended up at a small table by the window and people were coming to us greeting us like we are some huge stars in the whole ballroom .
When the ballroom was set I was assigned to sit on the VIP table and Damien was seated at table 10 which is very far from where I am. I sat with the majority of men and was not uncomfortable. I'm just the youngest among everyone here and it's weird . . .
" How is Your father Ms Wong? " Said the director of the TV company , I swallowed my food and looked at his direction , " My father is relatively well thank you for asking , How is your mistress? " i said with no emotions that caused his face to flare up a little
"Come on Mr Ho, it is no secret that you have a mistress behind your wife's back . plus i believe your wife will be very happy to let her marry you once she dies right. " Mr Kay shot back at Mr Ho .
"So what do you want Ms Wong , since you know about my mistress " Shot back right at me , i took a sip of my wine and placed it back on the table stared at him .
"I want 35% of your company. Which includes the stock market by the way " I smiled as i finished my answer. Seeing him in complete shock I continued to eat the food that was being served to us .
"You Insolent Fool! ( Slams the table ) " Mr Ho said with anger as he caught the attention of every table in the room . i looked up at him tilted my head a little before letting a smirk out and
" Mr Ho, I have been looking at your numbers lately and something isn't right . you're selling a 55 inch TV at 1.5k which is very unreasonable with no installing or delivery . I have looked at your stock market. I must say you don't have any time left. I can bet with you by the end of this year your sales will go down 0.01% and your stock market will decrease and you will have no choice but to declare bankruptcy . I am still surprised that you are still here involved in this conference meeting . but despite you being one of the main sponsors for this event i can't say much either hehe " a bright smile appeared on my face as i took a bite out of my food .
"Ms Wong you must have some really big balls to come up with that kind of assumption . I won't give you 35, not even a single penny or percentage that's final . " said it with Firmness and took a bite of his food.
"Well then, Don't come crying to me when you see yourself filing for bankruptcy, i'm sure Mr Kay will help you this time around like other times as well right Mr Kay ? hehe , have a nice night gentlemen " as soon as i said that i stood up and walked out of that door and to the smoking balcony .
I Lit up a cigarette and inhaled … exhaled what a relief really . it was so tense i couldn't even breathe really , sitting with 60 year old men let alone a woman in her late 20's argh can't these people plan the correct table setting . I can't believe I managed the courage to take that whole information and dump it there .
Its 2018 televisions should be cheaper now that technology is getting really good these days. We have projectors for homes to access , we have smartphones , smart watches come on . TV is not a priority now is what entertains us. Mr Ho will definitely declare Bankrupt one day and will come begging on his knees for my help .
"Ahem " . I turned around to see Damien standing there , " Hi sorry i didn't mean to intrude but you looked mad when you walked out of that hall so i followed you . " he said as he took a step closer to me .
" You saw that ?, oh don't come any closer it smells , i don't want you to catch any of the smell " i said while i took a step back . " It's alright my dad was a smoker too so i am considered a second hand smoker myself , yeah everyone saw the commotion just now i was worried for you . they made you sit alone with 6 old men and let alone you a single woman how dare they " Damien said while he took a seat .
"It wasn't a big deal, trust me , being stubborn at his age I understand . I was merely helping him in his company but it seems like he took it the wrong way. " I said as I exhaled the smoke , I looked at Damien and smiled faintly . i extinguish the cigarette and applied some sanitiser to cover the smell i took Damien hands and held it
"Shall we go for that drink? ``I said . He nodded his head and took my hand called his assistant to get the car ready and we went straight to the carpark and from there we went to a club nearby , showed our ID and went in to get a drink sat by the counter top
We talked and laughed and shared our horrible experiences with higher authority and our parents. After our 10th drink we decided to call it and headed to the dance floor to dance our problems away with him showing me his drunk movements and I showed off mine . When we finally stumbled out of that club we headed to a hot pot place and ordered so much meat even told his staff to eat more eat so this is what is feels like to see him drunk ,
We quickly ate and his staff sent me back to the hotel and I thanked them for the night and crashed into my room leaving everything behind, just sleep.
