Synopsis

Prologue

The world is not fair to those that thought to be a threat to there own kind. Those are only stories that people made up in this work. What is reality is the massacre of a different species just because they threaten what they can do and the normal. That is what happens, a massacre of one species.

Geneses are a species apart from humans that live in this world. They are many more, but this story is about the Geneseses, Pure rare. Pure Geneses are super rare. They lack the average number of fingers; they are born with four for easy transformation. They can transform into besat and animal form, which is much different from usual without a transforming gem. These Geneses can't hide their tails, ears, or wings. They are not allowed to eat particular food like their other counterparts can't eat. They need the crystal to hide their ears, tail, and ears only for a short time.

This story is of two pure wolves that survived the massacre of their clan.

A young boy holds his more youthful brother tight in his arms. His home burning behind him, geneses are crying for help, others fighting to survive. He focuses on His fear was on his mind than any other emotion. He could do was run; he fears he would be running for some time. Sticks and stones stabbed his feet. The pain would not stop him. He was more focused on taking his brother to a haven. His tears will slide no his face as he ran. He can hear a group of humans running behind him with dogs. He couldn't stop if he wanted to. His tail was between his legs. His brother stares at him with wonder; he smiled at his brother to ensure that worry. The boy stopped in his tracks to take in air from his tired system. The boy looked back at his brother's blue eyes. He gave him a gentle smile. The sounds of the footsteps behind him turned around and stood in fear, watching them coming towards them. He trembled in fear watching the groups to people running towards him. The boy closes his eyes and held his brother tight. Someone grabbed hold of both boys and hid in a blush. He looked at his hero, a girl—the girl with hair dark hair that reaches her waist, tan skin, brown eyes. The fire have been burning for long have started to burn the forest. The trees surrounding them were on flames. The heat was unbearable. Her ear perked up as for tail between her legs. She looked above the blush to see the group of men heading their way. Her ears lower as they came, she turned to the boy with a weak smile.

"Alright, You run now. I will take care of these guys."The girl smiled.

The boy gave her a worried looked as he nodded at her. He got up on his feet and started to run. The heat was growing; the boy was growing warm. He was close to fainting. His eyesight was burry; he have stumbled on his feet. The boy found a small puddle of water under his feet. He crouches down and wet his red scarf in the water. He wrapped his scarf around him and his brother. He kept running, at the time the flames have caught with them blocking the path. The boy stared at his brother, hugged him tightly. He kept looking for the forest's exit. The boy feared that he wouldn't be able to get there in time. Tears slide down his face. His scarf have dried, losing their chances of survive in the burning forest. His brother started to cry. The boy cried along with him. The boy knew he wishes this was just a dream.

Everything went black.

Chrom opened his eyes and sat upon his bed. His breath was the only thing that echoed in the room. He looked around and tired get out of bed. A sharp pain stopped him from moving. He looked down at his chest to see white bandages stained with red. Chrom stared at the stain as fear crawled on his back. His breath snowballed as a memory flood in his mind. Tears started to fall on his face; he wonders why this happened to himself. Chrom stood on his ground in pain, letting his tears fall on his face. He cried till someone's cries broke the silence. Chrom slowly got off the bed he can. Once on his feet, he walked toward the screams. He opened the door slowly and stared in the hallway. He stood in the dim-lit hallways there for a few seconds before walking out of his room. He kept following the cries, as the scent of bread filled the air. Chrom stopped in his tracks to take in the smell, then carried on his path towards the screams. The door where the cries were coming from lay in front of him. Soon the cries die down. Chrom held his breath as he opens the door. The light started to flood in the hallway, blinding Chrom. Chrom eyes began to readjust to the light. He opened his eyes once more to see a brown braided hair woman with fair skin with gray eyes holding a bundle in her arms. Chrom picked up his pace and ran ups to her.

"Oh, hello, Chrom, it's a bit early for you to be up."The woman smile.

"I know. " Chrom whispered.

"Well, why are you up then, sweetie? A nightmare." She asked.

Chrom nodded, " Yes, Aunt."

Aunt places her hand on his face, Chrom leans in to feel her warmth. Chrom closed his eyes as he felt the warmth of safety. Aunt placed the child down in the crib. She sat down on a rocking chair near the crib. Chrom followed and sat on her lap. Chrom rested his head on her chest. Aunt grabbed a brush and started to comb his fur.

"It's going to be alright. Dear. I know it will get better for you and me." Aunt smiled.

Chrom smiled as he fell asleep.
