Mr. Reed smiled and waited for everyone to settle down. He plugged the USB into his laptop and started a presentation. He began, "You all know about the Mike-Casper project, right?" They all nodded. "They have finally agreed to work with us, here are the updates till now." He paused for a moment and said, "I want you four to work on it." Nora's eyes brightened. Penelope looked confused. She looked at Nora and then at Damen, "Uh-sir?" She raised her hand.
He saw the confusion on her face "Don't worry, Miss Bloom. You must be thinking that you don't have much experience working on projects like that. Mr. Laurent has suggested putting your name on this. And, I trust his gut more than anyone else in the office. I know everything will be fine and you'll do great in this." He said in a reassuring tone.
