"Yes, I'll be there." She rubbed her forehead.
"I have those – I'm coming in a mi – Ye – Let me finish at least what I'm trying to say." She said on the phone but the line went blank. She put back the phone in frustration and started gathering all the required things.
"Everything's fine?" Eric rolled his chair backward and asked. Penelope rolled her eyes and made a mean face. "Yeah, everything was good before this phone rang." She huffed and he laughed. He patted her on her head and giggled "It's okay. Shit happens."
"See you later." She wiped a fake tear and walked towards Marissa's office.
"It's going to be a really bad day." She muttered under her breath and walked swiftly, her heels clanking on the marbled floor.
She knocked at the door and took a deep breath. She put on a big smile on her face and entered her office. Marissa was standing beside the table. There were drafts of drawings, reports, and drawing tools scattered over the table.
