I couldn't sleep properly, even though it was soo comfortable.
My last night's action made me feel a little ashamed, it was soo dumb. I had risked everyone, this quest was supposed to simple.
I woke up at about 3am, I looked up at the sky. It was all dark, the sun still had some time left until it rises.
I then sensed Osiric's presence, but instead of it being in his sleeping bag; he was sitting at a tree stump. He had cut it about 3 hours ago, the reason I knew it, I don't know it was just my instinct and intuition.
I wanted to apologize since Osiric should've calmed down, so I stood up. I looked in his direction.
"...t-the hell's that?" I asked him, confused.
Osiric was currently making a humongous 100m tall titan. I couldn't sense it due to Osiric's magic precision, which had somehow risen since there was no way I wouldn't sense that with my current self if he had the same precision as he had 2 days ago.
"Oh, you have woken up." Osiric smiled as he showed me his creation. There was a night and day difference with his tone now and then, that's because we were all like that.
Emma and I had many fights in the past and we would be together in some hours, at most it would take a day. Osiric was also more chill than Emma so it was even faster. He should've calmed down.
"Yeah, I couldn't sleep properly, but before that," I made sure I looked as apologetic as I could get, so I kneeled down, "I apologize for what I did yesterday, I couldn't control myself."
"Fine, but be careful, otherwise, you can kiss your bones goodbye for a day." Osiric nonchalantly threatened me, but I didn't feel threatened at all, "But look at this." Osiric pointed at the titan, "Don't worry nobody will see this, unless if they are High D rank. I used magic to make sure that nobody outside the radius of 10m away from the titan can see it."
Osiric had said it to me because I couldn't detect his magic, even if I try my best I could only detect it if he wanted me to detect it. He had probably used his magic to refract the light.
"That's amazing!" I said to him, the titan was very detailed. If he had used magic to refract more light so that the color would've changed then it would even look alive.
Though I would be a little scared, since an adult titan is, at minimum, high elementary class, and due to me not being able to sense his power - since appraisal is just worse than my natural senses now, though it still provided some support - until I use appraisal on him.
I would probably think the titan was a low advanced monster and minimum, before I used it.
"I know, right!? Just to make pure magic exist I will need to waste mana and because of that I can't make a massive structure, but with ice magic, it becomes a piece of cake!" Osiric was visibly excited as he said that.
Osiric had many hobbies, one of them was making sculptures or figurines. He enjoyed it very much.
He had made a lot of them when he was with us, especially two weeks ago. If he wasn't talking or fighting, he was probably making figurines.
With his ice magic, which doesn't cost mana to make it exist as its a natural element that occurs naturally and is solid. Osiric could slowly make the titan.
He would slowly build it until his mana pool was empty, then he would wait until it's regenerated and start working on it again. He couldn't do it with pure magic since if he cut his mana flow it would just dissipate.
"Have you leveled up? I mean you did wipe out a chunk of the area." Osiric asked me, the forest was fixed by the planet so there was no traces of destruction which I had caused.
It was one of the convenient features of this world, since, even if people here are only a little stronger than humans back home; there were still beings that could level entire countries with just a tip of their finger.
So the gods made the planet in such a way that it automatically regenerates, so if you threw a nuke in this world the damage would only last for 1 minute instead of 1,000 years. Though, the planet would only heal its plant life.
The planet also has a consciousness so it knows what is unnatural and natural, so it doesn't destroy cities and make nature grow back.
It's also because of that the housing cost in this world is basically null, but, houses could get very expensive since reinforcing costs a ton - especially when you are a royal, a royal palace can easily cost an upwards of 100 grand platinum.
The royal palaces cost that much because they were generally reinforced by the magic lord - the richest man on the planet. The royal palace could easily survive a star going supernova on it, though, the planet won't like it - since the planet does not need protection at all, at high ranks people just give a middle finger to the laws of physics so the planet won't get damaged at all, unless if they wanted to destroy the planet.
But destroying the planet is suicidal since even the gods will be angry with you and another A or S ranker can easily recreate it.
"Yep, I am now level 20 now. All my skills are level 5, my fire and wind magic are also level 6. My stats have also reached the 200s, while my magic reached 300+ closing to 400." I replied to him as I checked my status:

"What about you?" I asked him, he should've gotten stronger, as well. Especially, since he had killed the rest of the monsters.
My attack had killed most of the monster, but still, there should by many monsters left.
Osiric knows how the experience system worked, and knows how to gain the maximum amount of exp from a monster, so he should've leveled more than me - especially since his level was already higher than me - even though I killed more monsters.
"You can check it yourself." Osiric said as he took his sword and put in front of my face.
"Ok." I then checked his status and then the weapon's:

"Wow!" the status difference was very clear, in just 5 ranks the sword had gotten way stronger. Its stats were increased by 6 folds, it also had much more skills and they had higher levels as well.
This was normal for a named weapon. I, again, was reminded how worth it the named weapons were. Since, this was a lower version of the weapon - due to it being made from pure steel - the stat increase was very low - compared to other named weapon, I had heard once that the strongest named weapon increased each and every stats by 1,000,000 and had an attack value of 10,000,000 and its durability was 100,000,000.
"I really want to have a named weapon." I said to Osiric, "It's going to be hard." Osiric said to me, "First of all we have to find a named weapon - which is quite rare. Then you have to get chosen by it." he then reminded why named weapons were so rare and expensive, "Actually, don't mana weapons get named. Hey, Tyler what happens if you have a named weapon and your magic weapon is named as well?"
Osiric asked me a question that I didn't know anything about, if I didn't have appraisal. As soon as Osiric asked that, appraisal send new information to my brain. I was very surprised about the answer, "Appraisal says that you can combine them both to make yourself a pseudo-divine weapon."
Divine weapons were super rare weapons, they were uber super legendary rare. They generally cost 1 grand platinum at minimum, if someone was even ready to sell it to you.
There were only about 30 divine weapons on the entire planet. But only 5-10 are being used, since, like named weapons, they had an ego.
But instead of having a weak ego, divine weapons had a proper ego. So they were like living beings.
They were very powerful, just one could shift the balance in power. You will be hundreds of times more powerful with just one - though you can only use one, since having a divine weapon repel other divine weapon.
Even pseudo-divines were very powerful, there were about 100 pseudo-divines in the world.
"Really! If that's the case then I should probably learn it;" Osiric said as he looked at his left hand, he tried to use pure mana to make a mana weapon, but couldn't, "it's going to be a bitch though."
Osiric couldn't use mana weapons, it was a deficiency he was born with. He was very precise with mana, but he couldn't move it - though now he could use ice magic to do is since it was solid unlike his pure mana. But mana weapons were weapons made purely of mana, so it wouldn't count.
And also pure magic was super hard to use as a mana weapon, so even if Osiric could make his pseudo-mana weapon easier and cheaper to use with it. It would take a long time to just get the benefits, while he could get the same amount of mana reduction, no, even more by training his swordsmanship and pure magic.
"Well anyway, I should probably destroy it now. Its too big." Osiric then touched the titan and it immediately dissipated.
"So now what?" I asked him. "I don't know, I just want to finish the quest quickly and go back." he replied.
"Though, we should probably level up to 30. It's going to be better if we could immediately class up." Osiric ended.
To be F rank we only needed to get enough points - which this quest would give us. But we had planned at the spring that we should probably class up before we become F rank.
Since classing up would give us massive boosts, and that intermediate monsters sometimes - especially when they reached 'high' or '+' - had an aura that would even make everyone with a lower class get knocked out immediately, and that we won't be able to compete with high intermediates and above.
Osiric had said that we should reach E rank quickly, since the royal academy has lords as their teachers. Those lords were all students of the strongest human - the human lord.
Getting taught by a lord will easily let us get past the wall between D and C rank, it would also help us pass more walls we will face - though it still won't let us pass the wall between A+ and S-/S rank.
"I agree with you." I agreed with him, since there wasn't anything we wanted to talk about we just talked about stupid things until the sun rose.
