The world became extremely cold; I needed to use mana to not be frozen immediately.
Osiric, seeing that I was able to handle this coldness, made the technique even stronger.
Currently, I had to waste about 20 mana per second. It was a lot, but I should be able to stall for 5 minutes - since with my stats currently, I can boost to get my mana over 10,000.
I can't beat Osiric with magic, since right now, he would just nullify everything I throw at him by freezing them. I would need to waste massive amounts of mana to just hit him, and the attack would be heavily weakened and would only damage him a little.
I made 64 spears - I could do it because my skill had leveled up. The spears' only purpose was to stall him by blocking every attack, and maybe even countering here and there.
The spears could move very fast, probably faster than Osiric. But Osiric would be able to know their trajectory due to his instincts and senses.
It would be very hard to block his attack with just one spear, but with sixty four of them, it would be possible.
Osiric was level 6 in swordsmanship, and his sword would help him as well. So it would be hard to block his attack, but still possible.
The thing that worried me the most was his 'White End'.
With him being in his white form, his 'White End' would be way more powerful than normal - and that's not considering Snow of Death, Red Snow, and Pure Snow boosting his attack.
I couldn't taunt him because he would know that I was taunting him; so mental warfare goes out of the window.
"So it all ends up to skill, huh?" I said to myself, I was confident with my ranged combat skills due to me having level 5 skills in both melee and magic.
But, even if Osiric only had melee skills - though with his ice magic skill he should be able to do some ranged attack but his curses makes him pathetic at using ranged combat. Though his curse won't affect his sword's skill blizzard and icicle barrage.
Osiric then quickly jumped at me, I used dual processing to slow down time for me, and tried my best to find out what was the best course of action.
Osiric was slashing at me, I used one of my spears to block where the slash was coming from. But before the spear could block Osiric, had already changed the trajectory of his attack.
I took me 10 spears to block his simple attack, this made me be even more careful. Currently, surviving for five minutes straight when he releases many attack per second seemed a little daunting.
But I had to do it, it would be very helpful for me. So Instead of surviving for five minutes, I tried my best to last as long as I can.
Osiric then started to attack faster and faster, until every second he would slash about 10-20 times. Blocking all his attacks were very hard, I had to move all my spear precisely.
Even with dual processing - which increased my mental capacity by a ton - it still took me a lot of brain power to control all my spears individually.
I couldn't stop the flow state, otherwise, I won't physically be able to contend with him right now.
...
Now only two minutes were left.
We both had beads of sweat forming on our foreheads, but I was better off than Osiric because I only need to use my mind.
While he needed to use his entire body, Osiric was exhausted.
But even then, instead of being more careless, I focused more.
If Osiric knows that he can't win the battle with his normal swordsmanship, then he uses his combos.
While fighting the orc chief, Osiric had hit the orc so many times before using white end that I wouldn't even be able to see him properly even with me right now.
Also, the reason for me sweating was not because of me moving all my spears - it became trivial after one minute - it was because of looking at Osiric; and trying to predict his next moves.
If he uses 'White End', if my guard was even 1% weaker, I would be absolutely wrecked. His 'White End' would probably move at mach 20 - 25, even faster than my spears.
But, due to Shi no Yuki's effect I could predict it easier.
Osiric then jumped back and stopped, he was exhausted, and was breathing heavily. Sweat covering his body, "Well, let's end this."
I knew what he meant, so my brain went to full overdrive, I knew that he wasn't joking when he said to end this spar.
"Let's do it! I will win this time!" I then controlled all my 64 spears individually, I made them move very precisely to block Osiric's 'White End'.
In the next moment, a massive amount of icicles formed around Osiric - probably numbering in the hundreds.
It was the combination of his skill, icicle barrage, blizzard, and lastly, ice magic. It would be a waste of mana if he had did when we were fighting normally since my spears would be superior to the icicles and would vaporize in seconds.
Right now, Osiric would use 'White End' so I couldn't use my spears, since even one missing would heavily impact my chance to survive his attack.
Osiric then took a new stance, it was a stance that he had used when he used 'White End' against the orc chief, but it was a little different.
Shiyuki now started to shine red, and started to make a blue trail. This was going to be the end of the battle.
"Survive this!" this time he infused pure mana in the weapon, it changed the sword's appearance.
Shit! he was even using the pseudo-mana weapon. It was going to be very hard to survive the attack. But I knew that I could survive the attack if I perfectly moved my spears.
In the next moment, the world turned white and the spar ended.
The white light started to dissipate, there wasn't a hint of freezing. Everything looked normal, then a figure spoke, "I won! I finally won! Fuck yeah!!!"
Tyler won the spar.
