As we showed up, I saw the guards lining up as we walked through the gates. I looked at Hem and mouthed "really?"
Hem looked back at me and smiled. He kept walking.
I could escape from him, I mean I've tried, but his people are watching me and my every move. So, I follow him behind. 'It's been so long since I've been here. So much has changed or well different. I just hope I won't get yelled at by my parents. It's nerve-wracking." I thought to myself.
After a few minutes of walking and being stared at, we made it to the house. Hem went up to the door and knocked on the door.
After a few seconds, the door started to open. A soft who is it was said.
I recognized the voice, but I could be mistaken. "Sophie?" I asked.
As soon as I spoke, the door opened wide and here comes Sophie running out. She ran straight for me.
I was smiling and crouched down. I held out my hands.
Sophie ran straight into my arms and hugged me. "Sissy!!" She yelled as she started to cry.
I hugged her back. I started to cry as well.
As I was hugging Sophie, I heard Hem speaking to someone. I looked over at him and saw him talking to someone I don't know.
"Sissy, where have you been? Why haven't you come home in a few years?" Sophie asked as she let go of me and looked at me with a sad face.
"I had to escape from mom and dad. I didn't want to be married to someone I didn't know or loved. I went to Broken Shields," I replied as I looked at her.
"Broken Shields?" another voice said as it was coming from the doorway.
I looked up and saw Mom. I stand up immediately, after stumbling a back a bit. "Mo-Mother?" I asked.
She ran over to me after I had called her mother. She hugged me and started to cry. "Aphmeow!!" She exclaimed.
I didn't hug her. I mean I wanted to, but I couldn't bring myself to. "Does he know that I am back?"
My mother let go of me after I had asked her that, but I think it was because I didn't hug her back. She then nodded.
'Great, just great,' I thought to myself, 'I am going to get my ears chewed off.' I stayed silent after I had seen her nod.
Of course, right after I had said that I could hear his footsteps coming from the halls. I blinked and the next thing I knew, I was being picked up and hugged.
