Akando was getting used to the attack patterns of the woman and was dodging the wind daggers easily. He hurled a tomahawk with a curve to it, but she still dodged it with ease. It crashed into the floor as he charged on. The harpy saw this and launched as many daggers as she could. Wanting to overwhelm while he only had one of his weapons. Akando dodged all but one that slashed across his upper arm. Though it barely touched him the dagger expanded on impact causing a deep cut. Akando didn't waiver and went forward swinging down to bury it into her heart.
She quickly dodged back but the tomahawk in the ground was pulled back as the back end stuck into her elbow. The heat was immense, and she shrieked in pain. Akando closed the distance as she was distracted. The harpy quickly recalled what happened to the tree, and immediately ripped her arm off above the elbow. Not long after she did the arm was dust. Before she could recover from the pain to look back up. Akando had already thrown his final tomahawk with all his might as it severed her left leg. Recalling both tomahawks immediately as he stomped on her stomach to hold her in place as he buried his weapon into her heart.
"You should've chosen a life of peace. We could've lived together in harmony." Akando said as she turned to ashes.
Akando dissipated his tomahawks and took the time to catch his breath. Then he tended to the wound on his arm. Trying to get prepared for battle again as fast as possible to join Astrid.
Astrid jumped into the trees and quickly pressed towards the harpy. The woman lifted her arms, flapping her wings as large gusts of wind shot Astrid back. While she was flying back through the air her body was cut up by the wind. After feeding on Sven for so long her powers grown so much she wanted to try something new. When she swooped in to hit Astrid her body froze with fear when meeting her gaze. This tended to only work on weak humans, but drinking dragon blood so often was causing her abilities to enhance tremendously.
"I know that won't hold you for long, but that's okay. Since no one is around to see I can get serioius. Didn't want Akando seeing this, and mouthing off to Sven. Don't worry it will end quickly." Astrid taunted as she walked towards the harpy.
Astrid has cultivated, fed on tera, and even gods for the past three hundred years. Astrid's energy spiked, and a dreadful aura filled the forest. Her hair began to flair violently, her left leg had a hoof, and the right was covered in brass armor. Astrid's hair was moving as if it was alive, and immense heat could be felt coming from her. The whites in her eyes were black, and the pupils had an ominous red glow. Astrid's face resembled a demon. The nails on her hands became extended, and became extremely sharp. Astrid didnt like this form, and would never use it around Sven, or Helga. For when she released it, she was a ruthless monster. The woman saw this intense bloodlust and the tremendous amount of power bearing down on her. Before the harpy could get free of the charm Astrid leaped in with intense speed as she plunged her hands into the harpy's chest.
"You should've never ruined my morning."
Astrid ripped her apart splitting her into two. As a massive amount of blood splatters into the air raining down around her. Astrid stood in the center of the rain with her. When it stopped she had a giant smile on her face before reverting back to normal. Astrid drained the essence of the fallen harpy with a wave of her hand. She has long since grasped the absorbing of essence long ago. Astrid went in search of Akando. Astrid started to get an uneasy feeling. These harpies are far too weak for someone who's been devouring lots of people. She wanted to meet back up with him to make sure things are clear and find Sven.
Meanwhile, the mysterious man felt only one of his puppets was left so he began wandering into the forest. Helga and Mika split up in different directions hoping to assist the other groups. Since both of them could fly it wouldn't be too hard to find them.
"Do you think they will be okay?" Kimi asked
"I think so. Astrid is very strong, and I'm sure Akando can handle himself. We should probably speed up our search just to be sure." Sven replied as they picked up the pace.
As they were walking they came upon a clearing in the forest. There was a pond at the center. They approached it to get a look around before deciding which path into the forest to take. A woman walked out of the forest wearing a short black dress. She had short black hair, green eyes, and pale skin.
"The two of you don't belong here. Let's see whats on the menu tonight. That girl is definitely a human, but what are you?" The woman asked pointing to Sven as she walked closer.
"Why don't you come over here, and find out." Sven taunted.
'You two will make a fine meal for me, and my master." The harpy said before charing in.
"Kimi tell the others and set a perimeter," Sven said as he charged in to meet her.
"We have sight on the last one." Kimi relayed to the team.
Kimi was indeed a prodigy in magic. She immediately touched her hand to the ground as a barrier erected around them. The harpy could no longer leave the clearing for a powerful barrier made of intense flames kept her in a cage. The woman seemed unbothered by this as her, and Sven clashed.
