"How are you?" Kimera said to Tommy. "I'm Kimera, also known as Batemut around here," Kimera said as he shook Tommy's hand. "Hey Kimera, I'm Tommy," Tommy said, doing a once-over of Kimera. "We've been friends for a very long time," Kimera said as he put an arm around me. "Y-Yeah, I guess," I said, looking at the floor. "Me too," Tommy said, grabbing me and pulling me to him. "L-let's talk about s-something else," I said, squirming out of Tommy's arms... And looking like a tomato. "Hah! Your too funny, Melody. You're so dang cute!" Kimera said while patting my head and laughing. "Y-Yeah, yeah," I said, internally screaming. "Okay, okay. Tommy, what did you do when she was dealing with me?" Kimera said, finally serious. "Um... I don't explore. Neither of us does, it's too dangerous." Tommy said to Kimera.
"Really?! You didn't do ANYTHING?!?! UUUGGHHH. *Sigh* Fine, I'll help." Kimera said, clearly frustrated. "Melody," Kimera said as he looked over to me. "You'll be exploring because you're the most limber and the most flexible out of us all. Tommy and I will be looking for other means of escape. Don't stray too far, and be VERY careful." Kimera stated. "Also, here," Kimera said as he crouched down and kissed me on the cheek. The place where he kissed me glowed for a bit, then faded. "Now you can call us anytime, and we know your locatio-" Kimera said, cut off by Tommy punching him in the back. "WHY THE H*LL DID YOU KISS HER!?!? I KNEW YOU WERE STILL TRASH!!!" Tommy said as he rushed towards me and pulled me into a hug. "I knew he didn't know anything. Uuugghhh." Kimera said, facepalming.
"To make it fair, I'll kiss her too!" Tommy said, kneeling and grabbing my face. "W-WHAT?!" I said, startled. "Could you knock it off already?" Kimera said, pushing our faces away. "I'm sorry, Thomas," Kimera said. "You were the one who left, and now you're just going to pretend that nothing happened?!" Tommy snapped at Kimera. "I had no choice. Now I know that I left her, but I lent her some of my power too. Don't tell me how to treat my d*mn friend." Kimera said in a low, threatening voice. "WHAT?! THAT'S YOUR SH*TTY EXCUSE?! YOU WIPED HER D*MN MIND, YOU LUNATIC! MOREOVER, YOU CAN GIVE HER MEMORIES BACK BUT YOU HAVEN'T, HAVE YOU?! I HATE YOU! YOU'VE CAUSED SO MUCH TROUBLE AND I WAS THE ONLY ONE HERE TO FIX IT, NOT YOUR LOUSY *SS!!! AAARRGGGG!!!!!" Tommy screamed at Kimera as he and Kimera were fighting.
"OH YEAH?! WELL AGAIN, I HAD NO CHOICE. YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THE PAIN, NOW DO YOU?! I HAD TO BE ALONE FOR YEARS WHILE YOU COULD GROW UP!!! I DIDN'T WANT TO BE THERE, BUT WHO GAVE A D*MN? NO ONE!!! I WAS TORTURED BY A DEMON TO 'PROVE MY WORTH' AND WHEN I PASSED, I WAS SENT TO MY 'TRAINING! I HAD TO ENDURE WAY MORE PAIN THEN YOU COULD EVEN COMPREHEND!!! I WAS RIDICULED, BULLIED, AND CAST INTO A F*CKING JUNGLE FOR MY 'PRIZE'!!! AND THOSE D*MN PRAYERS, THEY ECHOED EVERYWHERE, THEN THEY MADE ME FIGHT THE PERSON'S DEMONS. EVERY TIME. I HAVE COUNTLESS SCARS AND SAVED MANY PEOPLE, AND YOU CALL ME LOUSY?!?! GO TO H*LL!!!!!!!" Kimera screamed back as the flurry of punching and kicking continued.
"COULD YOU JUST STOP ALREADY?!" I said, annoyed. "I know that both of you have a long history together, but right now we should focus on escaping. I'm sorry for causing you two pain."
I said, looking at the floor. "You never caused us any pain, I promise. You can rest easy because I'm about to give you your memories back." Kimera said, kneeling and hugging me. "W-Wait!" Tommy said as Kimera grabbed my face. "Hmm?" Kimera said, slightly confused. "Good luck," Tommy said, turning away.
"What are you guys talki-" I said, cut off by Kimera kissing me. I was really surprised and kinda confused. Suddenly, everything started to fade as memories started flooding into my mind. "Do you remember?" Kimera said as I woke up. "Y-Yeah, I do. Thanks." I said, hugging him. "It's fine. Also, I'm very, very sorry. I know I hurt you, but I had to protect you. Please forgive me." Kimera said, hugging me. "Well, I guess it's time to explore!" Tommy said, pumping himself up.
"Slow down, guys," I said as both Kimera and Tommy start walking to the door, confident as ever. "We still need a plan, we don't know what terrible things are lurking around here," I say, grabbing Tommy's hand. "I-I guess... Well, what do you think? For a plan, I mean." Tommy said, looking down at his feet and blushing. "I think that right now we should try to discover everything in this place. I mean, we don't know anything. Tommy, me and you literally just discovered that there were other things in this place besides Lookers, Residents, and Them. Kimera didn't know any of that. So we should discover everything." I said, pointing to the vent. We all climbed into the vent. The order was Kimera, me, then Tommy.
Apparently, it was to protect me if anything were to happen. We were carefully roaming the confusingly structured twists and turns of the vents and then Kimera and I stopped. We both felt a presence right below us, and it wasn't just a rat or another curious animal, it was a very powerful presence that made the hair on my neck stand up. Tommy was really confused but he knew something was up. I scooted next to Kimera to see what that powerful essence was, and I was shocked to see people in a big room, dining. It wasn't any of the Residents, though, it was a very pretty lady in a big purple dress, sitting upon a throne. She had her food, then there were people who were smiling and laughing while dining at a big table full of delicious food. It was the happiest sight I'd seen in a long while. "Let's get going, we don't want any unwanted attention," Kimera whispered to us.
