The healer put away his hands and pulled out a small vile, he forced the liquid down Geoff's throat, he choked a little and coughed which made him begin screaming in pain.
Kajus looked at the healer who suddenly stopped healing Geoff, he had a look of firmness.
"well?"
" I am sorry " The healer said
"What do you mean you are sorry? Its not even a lot of blood, his wounds are small and minor!"
"No, he has internal damages and several organs are dead or damaged, there is nothing I can do"
Grinda went over to Kajus who looked angry. "Kajus, he fought well and there is nothing a warrior wishes more than to die a warriors death" Aron said behind Kajus. Aron looked very sad as expected, they have known each other for 20+ years after all.
"no" Kajus muttered.
He looked extremely menacing, he had an orcs body, the face of a true warrior and a vexing frown, he looked very mad.
"I refuse, get back to your knees and heal him" Kajus said in a low frightening tone while taking a step towards the healer.
Aron and Grinda looked at Kajus with stunned faces, they had never seen Kajus acting like this, he might look scary but his look was very much the opposite of how he acted.
The doctor had a nonchalant face, he glanced over to Kajus and was sweeping his eyes over his body, his eyes locked with the wound on Kajus' right arm, it was a deep wound which bled only a few drops.
"Fine, but I know of my limits and I know that I cant heal him, but i can extend his suffering by making him live a little longer"
Hearing these words broke the angry look on Kajus face and it was replaced with a hesitant look. Aron cringed when he heard it and Grinda still looked confused over Kajus way of acting.
"No, heal him!, I refuse to have him die!"
The doctor sighed and sat back down to heal Geoff, Aron stepped forward with red eyes, "Stop! let him die in peace, Kajus I know you meant well but I trust the healer Ive known him for 10 years!"
"But...."
"It's fine Kajus, we have to accept it" Grinda added.
"By the way that potion you are drinking has an awful drawback recruit, you might want to buy one of my pain relievers" the doctor said.
Kajus glared at him and sat next to Geoff, he had no words to say to him but he didn't feel good so this was the only thing feeling right that he could do.
Aron as well sat down next to Geoff and held his hand, he had red eyes and it looked like he was very lost.
"damn this world, damn the orcs" Aron weakly said.
Grinda was behind Kajus looking a little sad. Kajus just sat there looking at Geoff, he couldn't form any thoughts so he just sat there looking at Geoff.
"come by my tent after you have mourned and the effects of the potion wares off" The doctor said, while walking away from the mob. The mob quickly dispersed, 1 group of 3 picked the captain up and carried him to the captains tent.
The only one's remaining was Kajus and the group and another person who stayed behind, It was a small guy with long arms, he was blond and he looked young.
"how did this happen? Geoff is strong there is no way that something could've happened to him!" The guy said.
"Moonfred no more words out of you" Aron angrily retorted, Kajus new what he said implicated, he meant that him and Grinda slowed him down and got him wounded.
Geoff was still unconscious as he was being held by Aron.
He suddenly stopped breathing.
Crying coming from Aron and sniffing coming from Grinda and Moonfred.
Moonfred suddenly brandished his sword
"It was you two! Its because of you that Geoff is dead and the captain injured!"
His eyes red and his face red with anger, leaped towards the defenseless Grinda.
"If it wasn't for you my uncle would've still been alive and well!" He screamed.
Kajus stood up and grasped his sword with an incredibly swift action. He took a hold off of the blade and punched Moonfred with all his might in the face.
Moonfred Staggered back and one more fist was met with his face. He lot go of his sword and fell on his ass. Kajus unrelenting kept punching 1 - 2 - 3 -10 - 30, tens of punches hit Moonfred in the face.
"AAAARRRRGGGHHHH" Kajus were screaming with all his might as he released several punches that could even knock down a horse straight in Moonfred's face.
"STOP KAJUS YOU WILL KILL HIM" Grinda screamed meekly
"KAJUS ENOUGH" Aron said.
Aron stood up and kicked Kajus in his right side abdomen. "I SAID ENOUGH I DONT WANT MORE DEATH, its enough, Geoff wouldn't have wanted this"
Breathing loudly Kajus laid there with an empty look in his eyes, staring at the stars above.
