"Ugh shut up." Alexia tried finding the alarm clock by taping her bedside table to shut it off. Her face was impaled into the pillow with drool sliding down her chin.
Achieving in shutting the alarm off, Alexia attempted to fall back asleep. She was so close to the complete darkness in her mind but unfortunately fate had something else in store for her this morning.
The banging on her door finally woken her up from falling into an a-bliss.
"Time for training Alex. We leave in fifteen." Her brother Max screamed from behind her door before heading back to his room.
Sitting straight up in bed she rubbed her sleepy eyes and stretched her arm and legs.
At the thought of beginning to think of last night she winced. Alexia knew her brother had gotten it worse, but to what extent she had no idea.
Max had always gotten the final scolding when it came to them both being mischievous. It made her feel bad that he was always given the end of the stick last, cause it was worst.
She got out and neatened up her queen size bed then went to the joined bathroom to freshen up.
While braiding her hair she got lost in her thoughts.
'I'm already nineteen. Which means I was supposed to find my mate. But I know he is not in this pack. I just don't want to leave my family to go live in another pack
I love my family and pack members. I don't want anything to happen to them during this war.
I know they are going to train us even harder especially since dad put me with my brother to train, and he gets pushed to the limit. Once he actually fractured his arm, which healed in a day but still it looked like he went through hell.
To be honest I'm scared for what's to come. At dinner yesterday with the Alpha, Luna and their three children it was mentioned that this war is going to be the worst for us wolves.
Humans finally know our secret and now we have to fight to survive. How dumb is that?
I mean we all have a body with limbs thats the same. Not to mention the fact that we wolves and humans have a heart that we depend on to survive. We bleed red blood. Can't they just see the good instead of the bad in us.
We may have strength and agility, but they have weapons that can kill us. Actually ever since the reality of shape shifting werewolves went viral it really hit the humans, i heard that there had being an increase in hunters.
It is said that soon we will be attacked. We are not sure when but we must be ready. Especially since we are a small pack.
Dad said that only if I must fight then I should but other than that I should escape with mom.
Why are they only trying to keep me safe?
Even Alpha Xander was saying I was their top priority to keep safe.
Was it because I am the only female in both Beta and Alpha family or is there something they are not telling me.
Each time I've asked about 'why do people treat me as if I'm special?'
My parents would say 'that is because you are our little princess and that makes you special.'
I don't exactly feel special. I feel like an outsider. My bother was right I am a lazy arse. Because of my size. No I'm not overweight and I'm not exactly thin like the other she wolves, I would say I at least got meat in the right places.
I know wolves are supposed to be fit and healthy and I swear I am but this is how my body is and I can't do anything about it. Okay well maybe I can but that means I would have to eat healthier and exercise daily. It just seems like hard work. Am i right?
Would I be late if I at least ate something fast right now just in case to prevent me from being weak.
Eh, I'll just grab an apple who knows how hard they train. It would probably make me vomit my guts out.
Anyways this braid is finally done. Time to go and change into shorts and a baggy shirt. When pigs fly will be the day I actually use tight training outfit. I don't want to show how my Breast jumps when I'm busy running or giving a view to other wolves. My dad would kill if another wolf looks at me the wrong way. It almost happened once and I'm never letting that happen again. Hahaha it was funny though.'
Changing into black baggy shorts and a tight bra to not make her breast bounce she then put on a big blue shirt of her brothers that she secretly scored from the clean laundry basket. Lastly a pair of jogging shoes. And checks herself in the mirror.
'Eh good enough.' Alexia thought.
Her slightly pale skin says she needs to be out more in the sun. She has long waist black hair and brown eyes, that were actually the best thing about herself she always thought.

Going downstairs to the kitchen she finds Max sitting on the barstool and playing with his phone.
"Morning Max" she kisses him on the forehead.
"Morning, you ready?" He still texts on his phone without looking at me.
"Yeah. Let me eat an apple first."
"Grab it. You can eat on the way there." The puts his phone in his mini bag with two water bottles.
"Wait I won't be long." In a rush she bites into the apple chewing with all her might and as fast as she can. Not more than two minutes she was done. She drank a glass of water and looked at her brother who looked at her in distain.
"What?" She thought something was on her face, so she began wiping it.
"You eat like a cow." She dropped her hands and rolled her eyes at his comment.
'At least his still joking around and not stuck up.' She thought.
"Oh shut it will you. Let's go since you are in a rush."
Both siblings walked out of the house and began walking to the training grounds.
"Hey Max." They both stopped and turned to see who was calling for her brother.
It was the future Alpha and Max's best friend, Leo. The first son of Alpha Xander and Luna Ivy.
"Hey bro you ready for today."
"Yeah can't wait. I'm ready as can ever be."
Wait what's happening? Alexia thought.
"Guys what is happening today?" Alexia asked Max and Leo.
Leo turned and smirked at Alexia.
"All I can say is good luck Alex." He tapped her shoulder in a sympathetic way.
"Max! what's he talking about?" Max finally looked at her and realization hit him.
"Wait is that my shirt?!"
"Uh see you'll at the training ground."
"Alexia!!!" Max screamed for her.
'Ohhh shit' she thought
And to think she actually ran for her life this time.

"Good morning wolves. But I won't call it good for you'll. No not one bit. Do you know why?"
The scary pack Gamma screamed at his fellow pack members. But no one answered. Everyone looked dumbfounded.
He was a giant built man. You could see veins popping out especially from his head after all he was bald and scary.
They stood in an orderly manner of rows. One behind the other arranged by height and age.
The pack Gamma smirked looking at Leo.
"Today you will be training without your abilities. That means no super speed, no super strength and no wolf sensing. You will completely shut off your wolves."
"Noooo" everyone moaned out loud except for Leo and Max. After all they did expect it.
"Shut it. I don't want to hear moaning and groaning."
The training area was silenced well except for the fact that Alexia just had to disrupt that silence.
"Achoo" all eyes were on her as she sneezed into her elbow.
No one was pleased with her.
"Sorry, there was a tickle." Eyes were rolled at her.
"Not a problem Alexia. Daughter of Beta Jax right. I'm sure you would like to go first and be an example of how things should be done."
The big scary guys was nice. Oh! shit was about to get real.
"Uh its actually my first day training with this group so..."
"Nonsense, come on." the big scary guy gave a wave which was like a call to her doom.
'Ohh goddess please help me survive this.'
Stepping out of the crowd of 237 because the Lunar pack was actually a small pack with a maximum of five-hundred pack members. It left only a few to be warrior's.
Alexia stood next to the big scary guy. She gulped looking up at him and then to her brother Max.
'Help' she mouthed. But he just smirked not wanting to help his sister. She knew it was payback for using his shirt.
