It has been three days. Three long days of pure blissful hell.
Sweat was running like a dripping pipe. Bodies were aching with an itch to quit. Grunts and a scream of an angry looking man were heard.
Ahh! yes the training. Nothing much sweeter than watching others in pain.
Well unless you are one of those unfortunate souls.
Alexia could hardly walk straight with all the training that has been pushed upon her.
But now it was combat time. Which was to fight in their human forms.
Would seem easy but there was a twist. It was one against two, but there was only one winner.
And guess who paired up with Alexia?
Well who other than her own brother and a female warrior (aka ex-best friend) Emma Wylder.
Her description would be tall, thin, red hair, well-formed, strong and athletic. Everything Alexia was not. Not that she was jealous but the fact that Emma used her had hurt Alexia in many ways.
"Quit fooling around you three. It is not time for tea and biscuits. So start fighting." The gamma screamed at the warriors.
Anger was her aura. Anger and justice was all she knew. Pain was what she wanted Emma to feel. Non the less her own brother. After the way he had been treating her as if she was not to his standards literally pushed her.
There were five other mats that was placed on the field. Each mat had three individuals on them. Waiting for impact.
Spectators of other trainees surrounded each mat. Waiting to cheer on the strongest.
"I can do this...I can do this." She mumbled to herself.
'Well who am I kidding. I cannot do this.'
Looking at Max and Emma who was already in attack mode looking as if they were ready to pounce on her made her want to run and hide.
Closing her eyes, taking a deep breath and releasing. She opened her eyes and gave a blank look.
'Well of course I can do this. I'm the daughter of a Beta. I will show them that I am capable of winning to these two.'
Alexia lunged for Emma whom was in fact prepared for her attack. Emma grabbed her hand which was in a fist, twisted it to go around her back, making Alexia scream in agony as her arm was twisted to her back and was tripped to the mat.
Alexia began breathing heavy and looking frantically for Max who was just standing by their side and watching. A crack was heard.
"Max... Max." she called.
"Oh shut it. Can't you at least fight for yourself. So useless you are. You lose...you lose." Max said in return.
That had hurt her to a major extent. Her own blood would watch her in pain.
A punch slam came to her jaw from Emma and repeated.
"Always the useless one. Alex can't even fight. Pathetic. No wonder you have no friends." Emma said to her face.
Emma got up from the ground and started to kick Alexia in her ribs who was now in a baby position. Cradling her broken arm.
Alexia had gotten tired of being kicked. So she grabbed Emma's leg and pulled it making her lose her balance and fall to the ground. Alexia straddled Emma's waist and began throwing punches.
"You're...punch... the one...punch... who used me...punch...you fucking bitch...punch."
After repeatedly punching until she saw blood just like how her lip was busted. Next she went for her neck and strangled her. Second by second she started putting pressure.
Just when Emma was gasping for air and clawing at Alexia's hand to let go, Max intervened and began pulling Alexia away from Emma.
"No let me go. I will show this bitch. I hate you. You took everything away from me."
Emma caught her breath, holding her neck. Once she caught hold of herself she stood and smirked looking towards Alexia.
Alexia struggled to get out of Max's grip. But with just one pinch to her neck, Alexia was out cold. Making her lose the match.

'My head is killing me. What happened?'
Alexia had awoken in the infirmary. It was assembled just as a normal hospital. But just for wolves. It was situated in the pack house. A house for plenty of wolves to live in, if they did not want their own house.
Alexia had a broken arm which was plastered. Her lip was busted. And her jaw was sore.
She was not hooked up to any machine nor given any Ivy. But it feels as if she had been through hell.
Recalling her final moments before her previous black out simply made her gasp in revelation.
Max had finally done it. He had pulled the last straw. Her own brother enjoyed seeing her being beaten.
As each second passed, her heart was aching more. The only person she trusted and shared so many happy memories with hated her. She did not know why.
"Hey sweetie."
Her mother, Jade had just arrived, swinging the door open. She looked at her daughter in distraught.
When Alexia looked at her mother, Jade saw the hurt and pain. Alexia was crying.
"Dear please don't cry." Jade said which confused her.
Alexia felt her cheek to realize her face was wet which meant she was indeed crying. That made her to release a sob.
Her mother got to her side, hugging her. She knew why, so she didn't bother asking. She just needed to hold her daughter.
"Mom, I can't. He hates me. Dad hates me. It hurts...hurts so much to feel this way. I can't take rejection again."
Being rejected at first by her friends, the one she trusted with all her heart really put a damp on her soul. She had gone through a depression stage, had gotten sick and started to have anxiety attacks. All because of loss. Losing someone she loved was not easy on her. Alexia had a soft heart and meant well. That is why being tough was not her strong point so why try to push it on her.
Her parents and brother first took sympathy on her. But it looks like they were done and showing how they really felt about her.
"Alright, lets get you home. Dr Parker said that once you have awoken, you can leave. I have your meds."
Jade tapped Alexia on the back letting her know she must now be strong and pull it together.
She knew she should be strong and hold it together. It was a challenge she had to now face. It was going to hurt facing reality, but she had no choice no matter how much she talked to herself about confidence.

Entering the house, Alexia found it shocking to see that her father and brother waited up for her. Being it was after eight at night. Or probably they were awaiting her mother.
Jade was holding Alexia meds which she gripped from her hands.
"I'm going to bed mom." She eyes were casted down as she headed for the staircase.
"Alex?"
"What?" She asked her dad, Jax with cold eyes.
"I don't like that tone Alexia." He gave a warning growl not liking the way his daughter responded to him.
"Well I only show love to those who actually care for me. And I guess I was wrong this whole time. Ha and funny it seems that no one actually cares about me. Even my own family." She shot to his face.
Regret was in his eyes. He knew they had hurt her bad. And it could either take a bad turn or the turn they hoped for that would push her.
"Don't you dare talk to dad like that Alex. Show some respect." Max stood up from the couch.
"Oh what are you doing to do Max huh? You're going to hit me. You're going to treat me as a slave and make me tie your shoes? If only I knew how self-centered you really are and never did love your own sister then I would have left you'll long time ago."
"Where would you go? As if anyone else out there would want to take care of your lazy arse. You still prove to be worth nothing. You was and will always be an extra baggage that we have to pull around."
'Wow did they really feel that way about me. Don't cry Alex...don't cry.' She thought.
"Mom is it true?" Her voice came out wobbly due the fact she was at a point of having an attack.
"You are my pup and I will care for you always." Was all she said.
Jade looked away which was a straight give away that Max was right.
Her chest felt tight. She struggled for each breath. Alexia could feel her body shake. No it was not her wolf making her phase. It was the fact that it was true that no one wanted her.
"Alex you're having an attack." Her father came towards her.
Quickly she put her hand up, the one which was not in a plaster. Jax stopped as Alexia looked at him would so much pain and anger it broke his heart that they had to do this to her.
"Don't...don't...I Don't need your help." She finally let her cry free.
She placed her hand on her chest trying to figure out her next move.
"Dear please calm down." Jade said trying to make her stop crying.
It only hurt them to see how hurt she was.
Going up the stairs during an attack was not easy. She left her family in the living area and aimed to reach her room before she collapsed.
She turned looking at her mom, dad and brother with hateful eyes. Then went back to going to her room.
Due to the fact that she has had attacks often, she was able to cope in situations where she had to care for herself when there was no-one to help her clam down.
Opening her door and entering then slamming it closed she knew it only hurt more that they were not coming after her.
Fumbling to her bed she collapsed upon it, trying to control her breathing. She knew she would heal overnight so she did not care about her arm. So she closed her eyes and began counting.
As Alexia counted she cried...until her very last teardrop.

"I can't do it any more I have to help her." Max relentlessly said.
"No Max. You cannot."
"It hurts to see her like this. I can't do it anymore. I can't pretend."
"Jax don't you feel anything right now. Alex is having an attack because of us. Of us Jax. Her parents and brother. The only ones she trusted. She hates us now." Jade banged onto her mates chest to show her anger as she cried.
"Do you really think I'm heartless now. Huh? You think it does not hurt to see my own child hurt because of us. I love her so much and I am willing to sacrifice it."
"Is there no other way dad? Because I honestly don't know what she will do to herself if she is left alone now. She has no one to lean on support while we break her to push her to fight. It makes me feel like a monster."
"We have no choice but to do this. It's the only way to make her realize. One day she will know why we are doing this. Because we love her, and we want her to become stronger. Remember fate is going to be hard on her. This is the only way we can help her while we are still alive. We will always stick together and fight for each other till the end."
"I just want our final moments to be happy." Jade said.
"So do I my love...so do I."
Jax held onto jade as she cried and Max sat on the couch holding his face into his palms as her also cried for his sister.
