Alexia stood in utter shock. She inhaled sharply as her eyes widened. She knew what was coming but not to this extent.
All she saw were figures running around but the greatest impact was the pack house and trees were on fire. The Lunar Pack was surrounded by fire now. Black smoke evaporated into the atmosphere.
Children screaming for their parents to help but were not seen anywhere. Everyone was lost. Everything was unexpected to those.
What was once a peaceful and resentful day was now a day in hell itself. A day that would shed blood. A day when an unexpected turn was taken into the hallows of hell. All because of humans that were afraid of our kind.
This fight was expected, where only the strongest people survive. It was a fight to the death. Werewolves versus Human Kind.
Alexia watched how the hunters in leather began shooting around them, going ballistic. Knives were being stabbed into shifted wolves. These were expert hunters, as they knew how wolves attacked.
But of course the stronger wolves were winning for example the Gamma was fighting along side the warriors. He had ripped out head after head, limb from limb. It was almost as if it was his favorite chew toy.
Dropping her bag on the ground. Alexia shifted into her white wolf, shredding her cloths in the process. With her heightened senses she sniffed the air. It was polluted with death of her pack.
Growling, she pounced on the hunter who was about to stab an elderly pack member. A women in her late eighties, gray hair, wrinkly skin. Death seemed to be knocking at her door because as soon as Alexia knocked the hunter to the ground, another arrived and shot the elderly women in her head.
Alexia blocked out the tug of death. It seemed like an extinction of the werewolves. Alexia stared into the women's wide opened eyes. In the depths she saw her soul perish.
Abiding by the promise she had made to her pack, Alexia saw nothingness to these humans. They were corrupted, disgusting life-lings that walked this earth.
As she composed herself, her wolf wanted nothing more than blood.
Pouncing on the nearest hunter knocking him onto the ground she scratched at his face. A groan of pain escaped him. He regained his posture and fought back. Using his arms the hunter staked it around Alexia's wolves neck. As he tightened his grip Alexia squirmed. Another hunter grabbed her bottom legs trying to make her stay still. Her white fur was now red of blood due to the knife that stabbed into her back.
Whimpering and growling she almost submitted. When two wolves pounced onto the hunters taking them down. As she composed herself shock entered her head. The two people who likely hatred, no truly hated her had just saved her from a death that would've been too sudden.
As she backed up the Gamma and Emily ripped apart the hunters not savoring their screams. But not before they both were killed right before Alexia's eyes. Swords were embedded into their backs since they were occupied. It was too late by the time Alexia had reacted.
Ignoring the pain in her back Alexia heard a familiar howl. Searching she saw her Alpha stamping into the ground heading her way at an exhilarating speed. But instead running into her, Alpha Xander pounched-jumped over Alexia landing on a hunter that was about to sneak attack her.
Not wanting to watch what would happen next. Alexia raced off to find her mother.
Searching for a familiar wolf of her mother in her backyard she found nothing except for fire and lifeless bodies.
Shifting back into her human form and heading into her house she heard struggling from above. Naked she ran towards the staircase, luckily she had found a clean laundry pile of cloths in a basket. Grabbing a dress of her mothers that held a built-in bra she cared not of how it looked. After forcefully pulling the dress over her head she continued on the path up the stairs following the sound of struggle and crushing of objects.
Arriving back in her parents room she saw her mother fighting against a hunter in her human form with claws extended.
Both gun and knife were thrown onto the floor leaving the hunter defenseless and using his fighting skills to prevent a blow from Jane.
Knowing that Alexia was in the same room as her, Jane warned Alexia.
"Stay there Alexia." Jane struggled to say as the hunter punched her stomach. Making Jane scream in agony.
Not able to take the scream of her mothers anymore. Alexia grabbed the gun off the floor, gripped it in her hand and aimed for the hunter. Without hesitation had she pulled the tiger back forcing a bullet to be set free and shot into the man's chest. Three rounds after shouting had the hunter collapsed onto the carpeted floor. Blood was leaking out of his wounds. Now with the knife in hand, Alexia approached the hunter and raised the knife above her head before impaling it deep into his pounding heart that was now lifeless.
Leaving the knife in his chest, Alexia raised from the ground, turning to her mother who was now on the floor crying in pain. Looking for the injury she saw blood on Jane's dress by her lower region.
Racing to her mothers side she crouched by her mother who was in a fitus position holding her stomach.
"Ahhhhwwww..." Jane screamed out.
"Mom what is it?"
"The baby...ahhhh." taken by shock at the recent news that was given to her.
"Okay ummm...lets get you on the bed."
"No. Just help me up. It's too late. I need to get you to safety."
"What? No! I need to help you. No don't." Jane ignored Alexia as she held her stomach squeezing her eyes shut from the pain, she stood.
"You hurt mom. The baby."
"I'm fine. Come on lets go. You can hide in the office." Jane gritted out.
Resisting the pull on her arm by her mum, Alexia pulled her mother back to the bed for her to rest. But Jane fought making Alexia struggle.
Jane pulled Alexia with all her might ignoring the pain of one lost unborn child for her daughter with a future.
"No mom let go." Jane dragged her daughter towards her closet.
"Stop!" Throwing her inside making her fall to the ground, Jane quickly slammed her closet door shut and locked it. Gripping the edge of a bedside table chair, she dragged it over to the closet setting it in front to prevent the door from opening up.
On the other side of the door was Alexia banging on the door screaming to be let out.
"Let me out mom. Please let me out." She screamed.
"No. I told you to leave from here but you just had to rebel against it. Now you will stay in here until everything is over to keep you safe. Stay here. Your father and brother is outside fighting for your life so be grateful we are fighting to keep you safe. Be silent, so they won't know you're in here."
"Mom how can you. Please just let me out to help."
"I love you Alexia. We all do. Remember we are doing this for you to live. I'm sorry." Jane said through the closed door as tears glided down her face knowing that this would be the last time she would ever see her daughter.
Retreating, Jane ignored the banging from her closet and limped holding her stomach out of the room.

Because of the current predicament that Alexia found herself in she gave up trying to get her mother to open the closet door and sats on the ground against the door. Tears were now rushing down her face as she sobbed out.
Things had really taken a turn for the worst in such a short amount of time. Lives were being lost every minute in brutality.
" A baby?!" Alexia sobbed into her palms knowing that her unborn sibling had just died before entering this world to meet its family and a sister who would always love him or her.
Maybe it was for the best due to the current circumstances that wolves were in. But the thought only just only made her hate herself more.
Upon hearing a loud piercing screams coming from somewhere in the house Alexia's heart racing again, pounding against her ribs. Breathing heavily she knew it was her mothers scream.
"No, no,no. It can't happen. I can't lose you mom. Please goddess save my family. Take me instead."
But the striking pain in her chest had given her an answer. Her mother was dead. She knew it was too late to save Jane.
Another sharp pain was struck into her. This time it was powerful signaling the loss of their Alpha and also the Beta at the same time.
Her father was also gone. Taken away just like her mother.
With the breaking of the bond with her pack she could no longer feel the deaths of her fellow pack members. But she knew there would be more after knowing that they had lost against the human hunters.
Alexia just cried. She cried some more and more. What else could she do but cry. Her parents were dead and possibly her brother Max also being dead.
Here she was locked in this closet as her pack fought for their survival. Pathetic of herself she thought. Good for nothing even at a time like this.

Even if she was called a coward, she would not cower away. It was the end so what the hell. Why not try to survive for your longest.
Alexia was still locked inside the closet without trying to break the door down to escape. But she knew if she waited she could possibly make it out alive.
But all that hope was taken away when she heard footsteps. It definitely was not her family.
Those footsteps were hard. With each stomp of those shoes it set her heart to thump even harder...
