Botan Date: "Back to the stone room. I need you to do as your brother did and touch the stone. It apparently has the ability to awaken your powers fully. Due to us being the only ones, we have never been able to see it before."
Kaida Endo: "Very well. I will touch the stone as well. I wonder what color I can write in the document concerning myself."
Walking back to the stone room, she could not help but wonder what color it would present her with. Botan insisted that it would glow but stay that greyish black color, but since he does not know himself for sure, there was no way to tell. They walked through the library and into the stone room once more. Walking up to the stone, Kaida placed her right hand on the stone and concentrated. She imagined filling it with her energy as she stood there, eyes closed. A warm heat spread across her whole body as the stone lit up and began to cycle through all the colors, hesitantly she opened her eyes as she watched. All the colors cycled in a way that was hard to describe, every color she had written down earlier and new colors she had never seen before. The rotation of colors was so quick she almost began to doubt they were changing at all. After several minutes of it cycling the colors, it stopped and stayed steady on just one. The final color was a deep crimson that was almost the color of blood, appeared to be surging from the stone. Staying that way for about a minute before it turned back to the greyish black stone it was originally. The look on Botan's face said it all as she looked between him and Tsubasa. He was completely fascinated by what happened just now and just stared reaching his hand out almost as if he wanted to touch her personalized color for himself. Turning back to his sister, the look of awe was clearly showing upon his face. Though somewhere within him, the vampire instinct was screaming at him quite loudly, in his own mind all he could hear was "I must make her mine, no matter what, the shared power will be glorious as well as our offspring's". He shook his head slightly trying to make the thought disappear.
Kaida Endo: "Well now, what do you suppose that all meant. Though I do feel a bit stronger now, did this stone boost me? Has it always had the power to do that?"
Botan Date: "This stone was in the previous queen's castle for hundreds of years. It was used to help us all determine what powers we possessed and start to lead us down our paths. As for the power boost it seems to have, that is a new one on me. Maybe it does that for the royal bloodline only. She died before telling me anything on it past what I learned when I found out my own skill set."
Kaida Endo: "That is always a possibility. Now that I feel like I have been awakened once again, I should get back to my studies and work on my powers in a few days. I am going to head to my room again."
Bowing once again, she left her brother and Botan in a stunned silence as they were at a loss on how to get her to slow down. At this point, they figured, there would be nothing that stops her. After all, what if she unconsciously surges one of her powers because she was startled. And that would not be good on any of them. Her brother was the only one who stood a chance of not being harmed fully at this point. Botan sighed heavily at this possible thought. Though with as much as he watches her, the other lords watched her just as much. If Tsubasa vision had any merit to it, despite their selfish natures, only one outcome exists unless they find other pure blood females. And that hope for any of them was almost nonexistent. Though he was secretly planning on going back to their village in a few years to see if there were more females that had been born to their lineage. Shrugging their shoulders, they both decided it was time to call it a night. After all, the upcoming days were going to be long and full of lots of training. It is always better to start off with a decent night's sleep after all, no one can function wore out. That was more so true for a vampire. Every time they used their abilities for anything, they would wear out faster than a normal human.
Making it back to his room, Botan sat once again in his chair thinking on all the things that happened today. So many firsts that he was still in awe over it all. Pouring himself a drink from the chilled bottle, he sipped softly as he swirled the liquid around in the glass. Forever wishing it were the taste of Kaida's blood in her human form, but that was no longer ever going to be an option. Still sitting there, he thought about how the stone lit up with so many colors for both of them. A male getting more than one set of colors was an unheard-of phenomenon. Let alone what he witnessed when Kaida touched it the stone herself. He never knew it could do that. They truly have been without a proper queen for far too long, he forgot what it did fully. With Kaida around now, would she be able to bring the others to heel and even possibly fix them? He had no answers for all the things swimming in his mind once again. With each new thing that was introduced to not only him but them as well, how could he even hope to compare with the sleeping power that they both seemed to possess. There was no telling just how much those two could accomplish by themselves let alone with the rest of their help. Downing his glass in one big drink, he climbed into his bed in hopes his mind would shut down for the night. He was tired after all.
Tsubasa went to his room after taking a bath. He decided he might as well try sleeping on the bed this time. Picking up the bedding, he made the bed once more and climbed in. Picking up a book he had brought with him, he began to read as he was trying to fully comprehend the situation at hand. He knew what his vampire side was screaming at him and he was doing his best to ignore it. He sat there as he tried hearing any sounds coming from his sister's room. It was now around ten or so in the morning, he slowly opened the middle door and seen his sister, head down on the desk as she had fallen asleep reading one of her books. Walking up to her, he carefully picked her up, noticing she was still sleeping on the floor, he laid her down. Taking the blanket and covering her up with it, a massive urge hit him once again. The inner voice screaming for him to make her his. Grabbing his head, he went to his room, shutting the door, he sat on the edge of his bed trying to calm himself down. Thankfully, the weariness was finally taking hold. He laid down on his bed and drifted off to sleep.
A short while after he had gone to bed, Kaida awoke on the floor realizing that she was still in her good clothes, she got up putting on her night set as she wondered who laid her in bed. It was most likely her brother, but since she was asleep, she did not know for sure. After all it was Botan's home. She put her night set on and opened the door between their rooms, she looked in and noticed that her brother decided to try the new style bed and seemed to be sleeping quite soundly. She shut the door once more and walked back to the bedding laying on the floor, crawling back in the covers, she turned on her side falling asleep once more. About three hours later, Tsubasa once again in an unconscious state went into her room. Leaning down, he picked her hair up once again smelling it as though it were a flower. Saying to himself once again in an unconscious state, "You will be mine one day. Knowing my power will be greater than even them is all the more reason to make you MINE. I have seen it so clearly; it will come to pass. Then I will show you the vision once you learn to control your own power, this I guarantee," Fighting the urge to lay down beside her, he took one last sniff of her hair, he kissed her forehead and left for his room once again. He got back into his bed and continued sleeping once more like he had never even left his room. Never even knowing that he unconsciously went to his sister's room once again.
