I ran towards the aisle where I saw the glimpse of the person ignoring Jaehyun on the way. But oviously he ran after me scolding me "Heyy, Namchan, how dare you ignore me, huh? Do you know how it hurts my emotions-"
"RUDE?" I practically shouted when I spotted the person from behind, cutting Jaehyun's words off.
The person turned towards me with with a frown, not knowing what I was talking about, and once again I got frozen in my place. The person came closer to me, looking at me he said, "Sorry, did you just called me rude?"
"N-No sir, I was just..umm" I stammered not sure what exactly to say. He had the same eyes that bent into a crescent moon when the person smile just like that girl, and from behind it looked like her as he was wearing the same outfit as she wore yesterday and this boy was also a bit short and his face even looked pretty similar to her but not identical tho.
Jaehyun hold my shoulder and shook me a little when I came back to my senses and as soon as I did I shouted "Dopelganger" pointing towards the guy in front of me, soon realizing what came out of my mouth to embarrassing myself.
The guys eyes first grew wide with confusion but soon bent into a crescent moon almost closing it as he laughed his heart out seeing me all flustered in embarrassment.
Jaehyun was flustered too from second hand embarrassment ofcourse.
"We are really sorry for the inconvenience sir, hope you have a good day" Jaehyun said bowing in from of the guy and pulled me away to the cashier desk. I sat down on my chair holding my head, as I was in utter confusion.
"May I know what's exactly wrong with you Namchan?" asked Jaehyun.
I didn't knew how exactly I could explain this situation in short to him, so I explained the whole encounter of me with the girl in the university. But the thing I didn't notice while speaking was that, I was explaining him with way too much details that he didn't needed and even I didn't realize while speaking that I was actually giving a very very detailed explanation of how she looked and her behavior. Till the time I finished I noticed the corners of Jaehyun's lips bent upwards in an evil smirk, and I face palmed myself knowing exactly what I invited for myself.
But before Jaehyun could speak, "Excuse me?" that guy spoke and he bowed to him and left but making sure to give me that evil smirk before he left.
I started scanning the products he kept on the counter, keeping an awkward silence not knowing exactly what to say. "So, who exactly you thought I was?" he said breaking the silence. He had a soft smile always lingering on his lips.
I felt a bit comfortable, "Actually, I had a girl in my university whose eyes looks similar to yours when she smiles and even both of your lips are also quit similar, I mean you both look similar but not identical if that makes any sense, and also she wore the same outfit yesterday that you are wearing now, so I thought it was her" I said rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly not knowing if my words even made any kind of sense.
"okay I got it, but why is rude the first word that came to your mind thinking of her."
