The night seemed never-ending for Sanskar as he sipped his late-night coffee on his posh balcony thinking about the snippets of her daily notes. Oh, dear Lord! How much she endured during those days? The first page was filled with her wish list with all sorts of craziness, but one thing which bothered him was why only a few of them were struck out while others were left out. Some of them were overwritten. As he surfed through the pages he landed on the first entry about HIM.
"Dear Diary, I don't know is it right or wrong? But I feel sad and bothered when Sanskar doesn't appreciate my food. Everyone praised my fish curry but he just ate it like a Khumbkaran. I wanted to slap him so hard and shout at him. Then I questioned myself why do I want to be praised by him? A week later Uttara and Laksh dragged me to the football ground as they wanted to go to the house together. Yeah, I forgot to tell you diary Sanskar is our school football captain. We arrived at the ground and what I saw truly took my breath away. Sanskar just poured water over himself and shook his head making his hair sprinkle the water away from them like those heroes from the commercials. I don't know for how long I looked at him like that but I realized I was watching open mouth. I felt my heart beating faster and my hands started to sweat. I told Laksh and Uttara that it is getting late for me I rode my bicycle towards my house. Once I entered the house I immediately dashed to the bathroom and stood under the water and cried. I don't know why I cried like anything. I felt scared. I was not knowing what is happening to me. All these years I looked at Sanskar as Laksh's brother that's it. But today... It all felt different. I don't know what am I going to do?"
Sanskar looked at the date '25/6/11'
From there it started, every week she used to have a glimpse at him secretly in the school, playground and whenever he teases her, she acts defensively only to mask the embarrassment, and when he read it his mind raced back to today's morning argument between them.
Looked ethereal in that pink satin saree with her hair twisted in a bun and minimal makeup of kohl and lip balm. His heart died that minute. His perverted male mind gave the command to his mind to look at her waist which should be playing hide and seek but to his dismay, she covered that area neatly. Even he groaned internally but somewhere his ego smiled thinking no guy would get the sweet sight. When he came out of his dreamland, he smirked at how she gawked at him with her innocent eyes and her defensive mode when he caged her in his arms.
Point noted
Swara is someone who masks her romantic emotions with her anger and smart mouth. Through her words, he experienced a new Sanskar no one knew, even himself. The entries were not only about him it was about everything and he got to know those about those Ajay and Sourabh and how she felt special looking at the efforts taken by those guys. On one side he feels immense hatred towards those guys, but on the other side, he questioned himself that does he really have the right to feel like this when he was clubbing and dating girls like the bad boy teenager.
The diary ends with the last entry of yesterday's events. Uttara said both the diaries have the entries of the first 7 years, but it has all the entries to date. He took the other diary and saw it locked with a little cute lock. After returning to his mansion, he gave Uttara one diary, keeping the locked one with him. A little protest came from his sister but nevertheless, he convinced her saying Swara wouldn't mind searching the other diary.
Sanskar got comfortable on the nest swing and opened the lock with a safety pin thanks to online lessons and what followed after was a pure shock to him. It was her own little fantasy book. Every minute details of how she felt every time she was aroused by sensual thoughts and her little fascination towards the 50 shades series. Sanskar felt bothered reading about her fantasies. He never thought she would pen down the minute details of how she would like to be touched or pleasured. By the time he finished reading the diary, he felt like he needed a long cold shower.
"Oh, dear God! What are you Swara? Behind those innocent eyes, you have hidden these many secrets. Well, now as I got to know what your little secret is, let me see till how long you are going to hide your feelings from me." determined more than ever, Sanskar promised to himself no matter what he will always approach Swara with respect siding his not so innocent brain.
