Dahlia peacefully rested on her brother's grave.
But the man opposite of her felt the opposite.
"Woman how could you be here now? Don't you worry about yourself?" He sighed, but for the first time in her sleep, she looked contented.
He frowned.
"What did you do while I was gone? I waited for you that day, but you never showed up. You broke your promise, Dahlia Long." He whispered this line knowing that even if Dahlia was awake she wouldn't hear him.
Hei Bohai had watched Dahlia for awhile as he listened to her soft breathing, waiting for her to wake up, he pushed his spectacles to level with his eyes and gracefully sat down so his face was close to hers.
"I finally found you after all this time." He breathed and pulled a sad expression to his face. "And you don't even remember me."
He watched her as she held the boulder with her tiny hands, hugging the rock as if it was her only treasure.
He then suddenly remembered that she was gravely injured, her striking adorable beauty took over his conscienceless. He then carried her once again back to the hospital where she was tied to the bed so that she couldn't escape.
Dahlia Long had gained consciousness as she tried to move her hands to reach the familiar rock she knew by heart, but she couldn't move her arms. She showed an exasperated expression and her eyelids opened instantly. Although there was no difference to sleeping and being awake only to be consumed by the darkness at least she was aware there were several people in the room.
"Wa-water." She croaked.
She sensed a tall figure had gone out of the room. She could easily feel the space around her, whether it was occupied by people, or animals, she was able to accurately tell their movements by feeling the space around her.
"Here." A man that had a deep throated voice held the cup to her mouth which she drank the water willingly. Suddenly, she thought that the fact that she couldn't see the man and the fact that this man seemed like a stranger to her made her aware.
"Who.... are you?" She asked.
He immediately knew.
"Are you blind?" He noticed her eyes had gone a little foggy, giving her eyes more beauty rather than an unneeded color that ruined her complexion.
"You haven't noticed?" She glared at him.
"Does that mean you can't see me?" He asked.
"The answer is obvious." She stated.
His heart ached. If she couldn't remember him by how his personality was, how was she going to even recall his familiar handsome features? He frowned.
