12:32 PM
After a few hours of dressing up, the Astrochists decided to return into the main hall to continue the session. They've successfully worn their very own uniform in which everyone was happy.
Nile followed them until they've reached the hall. Luong is still not on the 2nd floor but the teachers aka the grandmasters are on stand by. They are positioned in a formal way where their hands are placed on their back while they're standing in a straight body position. On the other hand, Faye was also doing it as well.
Nile stared at her once again but she didn't seem to bother with it. Her face was straight-up serious like what the soldiers are actually doing in the main capital.
After a while, they lined once again according to their own elemental powers. Nile was still in the back when suddenly, he got punched in the back by someone.
"Yo!" It was Stell.
"Stell! What the hell are you doing?" The Earth Elemental user is just beside the Water Elemental user line up. They're both in the back trying to sneak in with the rest of the crowd.
"Sorry sorry. Oh, by the way, you look good in that." Stell complimented him.
"Thanks, you too. At first, it's actually a little bit hard to move, and it is freaking hot. But I guess I'll get used to it anyhow." Nile responded.
"I agree, but it's really cool though. We can actually act like a soldier with these uniforms on. Like they have their own armor and stuff and we got this awesome uniform." Stell said.
"Oh, by the way, Isn't this the uniform that your mother is weaving?" Nile asked.
"OH– Now that you mentioned it, you're right. But I didn't really know because she doesn't really say anything about it. All I know is that she is working with something special. I didn't know that this uniform will actually be that special thing." Stell realized that her mother's job was to create a special attire made out of a special refined cloth.
"Well, your mother is good at this." Nile said. As he gazed down through the floor.
"Ehem, so. You guys are finally done eh?" Luong finally showed up in the balcony once again. The noisy murmurings dissipated in an instance when they heard him.
"Wow... Incredible. The uniform looks good to all of you. Anyhow, we're going to start the 2nd session. As you might have noticed, these grandmasters are going to be your trainers for the rest of the terms. But keep in mind that the one that is assigned as your adviser won't be the only one who will teach you." He said.
"What?"
"All 12 grandmasters will swap positions every 2 hours and teach you the things you need to know on each element. Of course, your advisers will have more time but in order to be familiarized with the things that are important for your training, first, you need a proper knowledge of natural elements."
"Does that mean, that we're going to spend the rest of the day, studying? Well, how about the training you're talking about earlier?" A random Astrochist asked.
"Oh, that? Well, actually, you guys don't need to do the training first. On your first term, there are 2 semesters. The first semester will solely focus on studying the archives and the important details of each element and how you will have to do the training. You guys need to educate yourself first before trying the real thing. If you're unfamiliar with the process, then there's a high chance of accidents that might happen if you're not careful. Think about it; Using our brain is more effective than using our body. What we need to improve is our knowledge and how we're going to create a strategy to be able to adapt to any situation." He pointed out.
"Then sir, are we also allowed to use magic all the time?" Another question from the back side of the hall.
"Ah yeah about that. No, for this program, you're not allowed to use your powers inside and outside of the grounds even if you have your free time. We don't tolerate any magic plays here. You can only use your powers freely if you're teacher told you to do so. If he or she didn't require you to then follow them. We also don't want anyone to get hurt because you did something with your powers, it would be troublesome for us." Luong answered.
Everyone looked at each other while the noise is resonating throughout the entire hall. Everyone has mixed reactions to the rules.
"Hey, Nile. Don't you think that's a little bit boring for all of us? I mean studying is not really my profession. I kinda want to experiment with my powers as I learn." Stell nagged as he placed his arms on the back of his head. He had a sour expression on his face as he closed his eyes.
"We can't do anything about it. But yeah, you need to actually think about it more about the regulations, Stell. Maybe after that, we're going to be free to use it." Nile said with a worried smile on his face. Stell looked at him and sighed.
"Well, if you say so. Also, by the way, have learned anything new? About your powers?" Stell asked out of the blue.
"Not really, I'm not actually using it too often. And Uncle didn't really teach me about controlling it. He's not the type to tell me thing as well." Nile answered.
"I see."
"Anyway, if there isn't any question anymore, please lined up again with your grandmaster and follow them in your own section room. They will give you more information about the rules as soon as you guys have set up." Luong ended the 2nd session without a hitch. The grandmasters that were standing earlier have decided to move from their position as well. Each of them approached the Astrochist based on their pins and emblems.
After a while, they've finally left the hall and continued on to go to their section rooms.
Nile, Stell, and the other two girls were separated. Half of the group took the route on the left side of the central building to go on the left building outside. While the other group took the right route to go to the right building.
The two buildings are actually full of rooms on the 1st floor up to the 3rd floor and the dorm that they are using is behind those rooms making it a double-sided room. There are at least 500 Astrochist assigned on each building that's why they made it bigger to fit all of them. Aside from the section rooms, there's also rooftops and a place where they can all eat also known as the main dining room. In this dining room, there are several maids working all together to serve the Astrochist the food they wanted to eat.
The room was also large with 7 big windows from left to right. The tables and chairs have their own unique design and look and the place is cleaner. On the table, there's a mat that is covering the wood and a lot of candles and lamps.
Nile and the other group passed these rooms and all of them are in awe while viewing it. It's not that prominent for them to see something like this. After a while, they have finally reached the room that they assigned for. It was labeled as E-12 and the other rooms are also labeled as that but with a different letter and number.
Nile's group have at least 70+ Astrochist with Water elements. They are divided by groups in each section. Faye grabbed something in her pocket, it was a golden key that has some strings on the end of it. She opened the door using it and the smell of the room have been released.
"Alright, this is going to be our room. Please take whatever seat you wanted." Faye said as she welcomed them. They began to rush in without any consideration. Some of them are already friends with the others. Nile was in the back and no one has been talking to him ever since he lined up.
He waited for a while until he's the only one left outside the room. After that, he went inside. He noticed that the left side on the back near the window was not occupied so he walked upstairs to reach it.
The size of the room is also vast, twice the size of the dorm they were in. The tables and chairs are arranged like a staircase with the backside being the highest. On the front of the room, there's a large blackboard with a table on it as well, meaning that the grandmasters will have to use it for their lessons on each session.
Faye started approaching the table and placed down her things. Everyone was quiet.
"Now then, Good afternoon again to all of you. I'm Faye, I will be your Grandmaster for the Water Elemental subject. Nice to meet all of you." She introduced herself in a formal manner.
Everyone in their seat started to bow. Nile also bowed, he's still preoccupied with something that is bugging him for a while.
'This woman... She's familiar.'
"Alright then, I'm going to rerun a list of names and just raised your hand if you're here." Faye grabbed the piece of paper inside her bag. The list was actually the forms that they have submitted on the entrance yesterday. It has all of their affiliation and information as well as their real name and who their guardian is. It also includes their addresses and age and date of birth.
Faye started calling them by their names and everyone was listening attentively. The attention raised for a while.
"That's the end of it, did I miss anyone?" She asked.
They were silent.
"Okay, it looks like I have called everyone. Anyway, so just like what you have heard earlier, I'm going be assigned in teaching all of you guys about the nature of this world, how the elements are made and where they came from, and the legend of Raiaterra. For your first term, we're going to tackle some things that are important for your ability and development. Take note that this day will only focus on some things you need to know before we start out regular classes." She said with a monotone voice.
The wind outside filled the entire room making it cooler than usual. Everyone's hair is blowing including Faye's long dress.
"There are three things I want you to know and remember before we start. The first rule of the class, I don't want everyone to talk with their seatmate. Everyone must listen and pay close attention to what your teachers are going to tell you. Remember that all of the sessions are important for the 2nd semester. You won't be able to do the challenges we will be giving to you if you're not ready and if you're unfamiliar. Just be sure that you're going to remember everything. The second rule is to not use your powers indoors. It's dangerous for everyone if you will play with it and you might hurt someone if you do. And the last rule is..." She stopped for a moment.
"Be wary about everything..." She said with a serious expression.
"Be wary? What do you mean, miss Faye?" Someone asked.
"Well, I'm talking about being aware of all things. You need to stay composed and focused all the time or else you're going to get left behind. Things are not going to work well if you're not focusing on it. Just be wary that everything in this Zone is different from what you're experiencing when you guys were still on your homes." She stated.
Nile felt an ominous feeling about something. He gave a scorned expression as he stared at Faye.
On the other hand, Stell, Aella, and Adara also had their own session and talk with their grandmasters all of which they have the same rules as what Faye said.
"Okay, is that clear?" Faye asked.
"Yes, Ma'am." Everyone responded.
"Alright, let's start with this..." She picked up something from the shelf.
It was an unordinary book with no title on it.
