Underneath the afternoon light a extremely handsome man wearing a business suit looked at the boutique with many emotions even though his face was plain as a canvas. It had brought the attention to both the store and the people walking by it.
Even Kai who was crying by himself because of the unknown gaze of Nathan, looked at the him with a strange eyes.
It was like at this moment he didn't even know if the man in front of him was his boss or someone else.
The confident and strong man looked a bit dispirited. Almost sad judging by his aura, but as for why it still remained a mystery.
Kai snapped out of his thoughts seeing that the people around have started staring at Nathan weirdly and took out their phones to take pictures of him. He rush to Nathan and blocked the view before calling out to his boss.
"Boss, do you want to enter the boutique?" He asked.
Nathan snapped out of his thoughts and walked towards the boutique without answering Kai.
He remembered something from the past. A long time ago he remembered that he came here to pick up Katelyn. That was when he walked into the boutique and looked for her. He followed the directions given by an employee in the shop and came to her work room where he knew his cold heart started beating.
Playing her favourite music and humming softly to the Korean lyric that she couldn't pronounce. While working with the soft and delicate fabrics of white and occasionally asking herself if it looks good here or there.
Her serious face when sewed or cut them and finally her happy expression when she finished them. Of pure joy for the creation she made not for herself, but for another brides happiness.
Since she herself missed the opportunity to be one.
Nathan entered the store dazedly and saw that a few of the employees that worked in Katelyn's shop looked at him strangely. Some of the women even blushed seeing him. But overall they hesitated since the man didn't say anything after entering their shop.
"Are you looking for something Mister?" Said the young man by the side. He was organizing a wedding dresses and carefully moving it to the side just like the many other dresses.
"I'm looking for Katelyn."
The young man paused and looked at him strangely before walking towards the back of the boutique through a familiar route that he remembered.
After a few minutes he came back with Katelyn who was trailing behind him.
Her eyes slowly fell onto him and widened before she rushed towards him in surprise.
"Nathan? What are you doing here today? I thought we were meeting tomorrow?" She asked.
But he didn't answer and only looked at her like a bullied child. Katelyn felt her heartache seeing his downcast side. She took his hand and started pulling him away from the onlooking crowd.
Katelyn's employees: "....."
She brought him to her working area and made sit down on the small sofa she used when she was tired.
"What's wrong?" She softly asked. But suddenly she was pulled into a hug by Nathan.
Katelyn blushed and tried to push him away but she felt his trembling. She stopped and looked at him, but his face was hidden in her neck and hair.
Nathan smelled her jasmine scent perfume and calmed down. He felt a sort of relief and that she was the medicine possible for it.
She wrapped her arms around his waist and softly asked him what was wrong. But he didn't answer all he wanted was to hug her.
Katelyn continued asking her questions but they weren't heard at all. Instead they both hugged each other quietly. She patiently waited for him to talk but time went on doing it's job.
10 minutes.. 20 minutes.. 35 minutes..
Katelyn found it hard to stay like this and tried to call him out. She shifted her body and found out that the man fell asleep holding her.
Katelyn: "....." she blinked her eyes at the sleeping man and sighed.
She decided to wait for him to wake up and explain to her what's wrong. Today wasn't like him at all. He felt sad and sort of defeated which was a new thing in her eyes.
She pulled out her phone and told her employees to pack up and leave the store to go home. She knew this will take awhile.

Nathan slowly opened his eyes and find himself covered with a blanket. He blinked twice at it before looking around the room. He saw many mannequins with some sort of clothing attached to them. There was even a few sewing machines and stacks of papers lying beside the table.
Definitely a working place.
But where are the workers? He turned towards the glass window and saw the night sky being displayed. His eyes widened and got up quickly to go find Katelyn.
Gosh, how can he sleep for so long like that?
He felt a bit embarrassed and definitely bet that tomorrow Kai will give him weird stare.
But just as he was about to open the door it suddenly opened and a fair face popped out. It was none other than Katelyn and she smiling after seeing him awake.
"I see that your awake now. How was your little nap?" She teased and saw the most shocking thing of her life.
Blushing Nathan!! His cheeks were both a little red and but his ears were even redder. She felt like a cute arrow shot her because of this stunning man!
"It was... good" he coughed to hide his embarrassment but couldn't.
The cold him in the business world was no more as all that was left was a man blushing for sleeping accidentally on his girlfriend.
