Katelyn smiled and walked up to him. But since she was a shorter than him she had it look up to meet his face.
"Is that a blush I see?" She teased a bit.
It felt fun, okay. It's not everyday you see something like this especially with who Nathan was.
Cough! Cough! He cleared his throat, "Katelyn sorry.. I fell asleep.."
She shook her head at him, "No worries, no worries. You seemed really tired anyway. Come let's go eat something first."
She started walking away but noticed that the said man was not following her making her wondered what was wrong again. She raised her brows at him and looked at him questioningly.
Nathan looked at her like a dejected puppy and told her, "You didn't hold my hand this time."
Katelyn felt lightheaded seeing his cute stance. Where the heck did the strong Nathan go?
Maybe she was right in thinking that he was an imposter. But such a lovely imposter...
... She should definitely keep him, right?
Cough! She grabbed his hand and smiled. The both started walking hand and hand out the door.
Kai who was waiting inside in the leisure room saw this scene and became speechless. Seeing his boss walk hand and hand with Katelyn as scene that he never expected.
He was even talking to her a few minutes ago before she disappeared to check on his sleeping Boss which he found shocking!
Did the Boss come here for sleep?! At a boutique of all places!?! He wondered if their was a mental problem with Nathan since this man would never sleep like that?!?
"Mr. Zaidin, are you okay? You look a little bit pale?" Katelyn called out to him.
Kai didn't know what to say. Should he explain that he was speechless by them holding hands or tell them that his Boss is acting a severely weird?!?
Yes, Weird!!
Nathan could already see his assistant going crazy seeing him so he glared at him in warning.
"N-nothing! Absolutely nothing's wrong! I was just thinking about some things, ha ha ha!"
'You sound so lame!!' He cried internally.
Nathan decided to inteoduce Katelyn to him otherwise he will have a big misunderstanding in the future.
"Katelyn this is Kai, my assistant. And Kai this is Katelyn. My girlfriend." He bit his tongue and almost said wife on purpose.
He was really tempted to say that but then he remembered that they just started dating and sighed softly. It will take a while.
Kai mouth dropped for the fifth time today and looked at the both of them shockingly.
But first of all- BOSS HAS A GIRLFRIEND?!!?
Nathan ignored him and looked at Katelyn whole speaking, "Shall we have dinner now?"
Katelyn giggled, "Of course! Let's go!"
And just like that the three of them decided to head to a great hotpot restaurant to have dinner at. The food and music and the bustling tables of charting. It was a very peaceful dinner-
'Right!! As if!' Kai rolled his eye looking at the couple and cried tries of loneliness.
His Boss looked like a married man, who was currently showing off his wife to the world!! The amount of dog food he's getting is causing to get indigestion!!
He felt like coughing several times to disturb them but didn't have the courage too. Nathan was glaring at him, as if ready to eat him alive.
But what did he do?!!
He quietly sat and ate the food that was very delicious. He had to handed to Katelyn the place she chose was amazing!! He might come here next time if has a date...
...but that's won't be happening anytime soon!! He sighed for the nth time. He was 29 and finding a girlfriend for heavens sake was harder than it looked.
But to the couple it seemed that Kai looked depressed and bothered. Katelyn looked at him with a bit worry and then back to Nathan who changed his face as quick as possible and of course she missed it.
"What's wrong with your assistant? He looks a bit pale." She asked.
Nathan looked at her with innocent face. Like he really had no clue, so he shrugged as an answer.
"Mr. Zaidin you look a bit pale. Why don't you just go home and relax for today. You look like you need it. Right, Nathan?"
She didn't forget that it was his assistant so she had to make sure she gets his permission first. Otherwise it would be rude of her.
Nathan subconscious nodded at her suggestion and Kai once again felt stunned.
'Boss your completely done for!!' He inwardly spoke.
"Thank you Boss!! Have a goodnight Ms.Evertine!" And he dashed away front he table as fast as he could.
"Wow, he must have a lot of energy. But how come he looks so sick?" She asked out loud.
And of course she wouldn't know that it was because the man beside her had scared away his assistant so that they could be together.
'Kai I'll make sure it give you a bonus.'
"Here try this! And this one! And also this one!" Katelyn started filling up his plate with food.
Nathan helplessly accepted it and ate it. Not forgetting to fill her plate as well with food.
The both of them enjoyed a pleasant dinner. Nathan offered to drop her home to which she declined.
"Right now, I'm busy with a heavy order by a demanding person. So I need it finish my work first. You can just drop me at the boutique." She explained as they walked towards the car
Nathan nodded but inwardly he was seething. How dare they demand his wife to do such heavy work?! Can't they see how fragile she is?!!
He pouted and it didn't go amiss by Katelyn who was putting her seat beat on. She looked at him for awhile and sighed.
