Nathan froze hearing her statement and corrected her immediately.
"Mrs.Evertine I don't mean your other daughter. I mean Katelyn. Katelyn is the one I want to marry." He solemnly put out.
Mrs.Evertine froze hearing his words. She was stunned completely. She had thought that he hadn't taken interest in her younger daughter but who knew he took interest in her useless older daughter!!
Tch!! Such a useless daughter!! How many times she ruined everything, wasn't it not enough? She placed the tea cup down with a loud sound the resounded in the room.
It became tense but Nathan didn't seem to care about.
"Really Mr.Kingston? I thought it was our younger daughter since our older one has a mental problem from years back due to her fathers accident."
"You may not know but let me put it out there." She raised her head to look at him, "She had become unruly and crazy and had been in that state for 3 years. Even therapy didn't work so we had to send her abroad for treatment. It's a shame, but I honestly believe that my youngest daughter would be better than my unstable man older daughter." She placed her hand on her cheek, in disapproval.
"Mr.Kingston you should think again. Katelyn is not good enough for you."

It was just shameful thing that he liked her older daughter instead of her younger one. How can mentally unstable girl catch the eyes of this man?!

Nathan who heard all her words, had cold glint pass his eyes. This woman was smiling so nicely to him that you would never suspect that she said those things about her own daughter.
Mrs. Candice Evertine, was a beautiful women with a great background. It's wasn't as high as the top 12 families but it was decent enough that she was able to marry the second son of the Evertine Family.

Nathan places the cup down and stares at the woman coldly. "Mrs. Evertine. Is it just me or do you hate your eldest daughter?"
Candice only smiled wider, "I never said I hated her, but maybe I'm thinking what's better in this situation. Even your mother told me that she would love for you to marry my daughter. Natural she even said she'll gladly accept Stella." She shamelessly remarked.
Nathan's has tightened and he silently call out his mother. "It was my mistake. I didn't explain to both parties so I'll say it again."
"The one I want to marry is Katelyn Evertine." He got up from his seat and looked down at Mrs.Evertine.
"Its my decision to make as well as Katelyn's."
Candice felt her face fall and she frowned hearing his words.
"My mother doesn't make decisions for me anymore. So don't use them in this talk." He coldly said.
He strolled to the door and turned back to the froze woman sitting.
"Have a good day Mrs.Evertine." And close the door shut.
Nathan walked away with a gloomy expression and Kai did said nothing as he was shivering feel the intense mood of his boss.
Seems like both Katelyn and Mrs.Evertine offend Boss really badly and he could possibly see another company falling down.
They were really pitiful.
Kai imaginations ran while and didn't know that he was completely wrong.
Nathan sat down in the car and quitely. Kai waited for his orders as today he was driver for Nathan today. He gulped and hesitantly asked.
"Boss, what do you want to do next?" Kai asked.
Nathan closed his eyes and thought about a certain someone. And felt a little relaxed.
"Cancel today schedule and head to 'Blanc Dreams Boutique'."
"Yes Boss" Kai answered and started driving. away from the meeting place to another.
'Wait isn't that Ms. Everyone's boutique?' He was referring to Katelyn. He looked ya the mirror where he saw his boss and then back tot he road.
Nathan closed his eyes and remembered all the events that happened at today's meet up with the 'Snake Mother'.
Yes, he knew that today's words were insults to Katelyn and it made him feel awful.
Just thinking about them almost made him want to punch the woman. How dare she say this about her own daughter?! He felt so much disbelief and understood somewhat why Katelyn hid this away from him.
Shame. Disappointment. Sadness. Angry.
Those would be feeling he would feel if he heard those words.

He found it abnormal and very much strange. He searched through his memories. He tried his hardest to remember and suddenly a scene popped up.

"I couldn't find it. Even though it's been five years I still couldn't find it. I don't know who but someone wanted you dead and it was five years back during your accident with your father." Eli said to caller.
"Sister you have to be careful who ever wanted you dead... is really trying hard to make sure you die even if they didn't kill you themselves. They poison was probably one step more as a counter measure. Also when will you tell-"
The memory was cut short as Kai disturbed last moment.
"Sir were here." Kai looked at the wedding boutique with wonder.
Nathan was pissed off and looked at Kai with glaring eyes before turning to the car window and saw a familiar sight.
He looked at the boutique and his eyes became gentle. He even ignored the shivering Kai who was almost breaking out in cold sweat because of his glare.
He opens the car door and walked towards the boutique and stood right in front of it for quite awhile.
His eyes held his sadness and he felt that the little warmth had gathered around his eyes.
Underneath the afternoon light a extremely handsome man wearing a grey suit looked at the boutique with many emotions even though his face was plain as a canvas. It had brought the attention to both the store and the people walking by it.
