"Cathy!"
A woman called in desperation in the middle of a crowded subway. The first thing he noticed about her, other then her voice, was her eyes darting around and the way she carried herself as though she is utterly uncomfortable with the idea of invading others person space.
She isn't from here, and has no idea what to do. Searching for a girl. With how low she's looking it must be a child.
Then a small hand gripped the edge of his jacket sleeve. Looking down he saw a small girl with resembling the woman that was calling out.
"Cathy?" He questioned. To which she nodded to. He sighed and pointed in the woman's direction. The girls eyes dulled a little and she started to run in the opposite direction.
"Hey! Kid!" The male called out and started to walk the way she had ran too.
The child started laughing loudly as the man tried to catch up. Her voice and actions going completely unnoticed by the surrounding people.
If the man had paid attention he'd notice the woman's ceased calling out and had a malicious grin that had spread unnatural across her face. He would have also made note that the little girl was leading him to a more deserted apart of the subway.
"I'm sorry." The girl whispered as pain ripped through him. Claws protruding out of his chest, he died.
"WHAT THE HELL! OH MY GOD!" A teenage boy shrieked in a tone that sounded in higher octaves then his normal voice.
Micheal was having the worst day of his life. Learning that his long time crush also likes guys, by figuring out he is dating someone. He decided to skip school after learning about a surprise test the science teacher sprang out of the blue with.
His mom, texting, never taking any of his text seriously and keeps sending gifs. Until finally his phone decided to take a detour to powering off cause of low battery.
He even got mugged! Not his day at all. The subway he needs to take won't arrive until eight, so he decided to explore the more deserted parts of the subway only to stumble upon this scene.
"There's another one here. What do we do? He isn't our target." The little girl said expressionlessly as she morphed into the man that was just killed.
"We can't leave any witnesses. He's a liability. I'll end him." The woman said with a cruel grin on her face as she let the man's body slip off her arm. She started stalking towards Micheal, who was petrified.
Micheal's body reacted faster then his mind did as he ran. Adrenaline and terror gripping his mind threatening to tear it apart.
"I'll do it." A man's voice sounded from in front of Micheal. Then darkness engulfed him. Death greeted him with welcoming arms.
