"do you have any idea where to go Lillie?"
"..mmm no but in my dream I was always in the woods so maybe we can go there"
"and what woods would that be?"
"umm.. oh I dont know... But when I was behind the house and saw the lady standing there, that might be the direction we should go in"
"That behind the whole mountain and we have to take the car"
"we dont have to take the car Dame we can go on foot"
"its freezing cold out Lillie did you forget this is the middle of winter"
"thats right.. then we will have to go behind the mountain although the cold has never bothered me that much Dami"
The car was filled with silence while Damien pulled out and started driving down the rocky road, when they finally got to the ground and behind the mountain Lianna pulled out the map and to tell Damien where to go. They started heading straight from where Lianna saw the white creature, it was all trees but Lianna knew this couldn't be the place, there was something missing. The map then steered Damien to make a left and then after passing a couple trees to then make a right and start going straight again. What they saw was eerie, the woods seemed to open up showing a doorway to ultimate darkness, it was darker than dark. Lianna waited looking at the hole, she tried to block out Damiens rambling about how dangerous this could be. Finally Lianna heard what she needed to hear.
The whisper, it was really the forest that made these sounds from the wind blowing in the trees but this sound was different, it seemed as if it was trying to pull someone to walk into it, almost enchanting.
"Go in" Lianna said faintly
"What do you mean-"
"just go in Damien this is it"
Shocked to hear that this creepy looking door that made an entrance deeper into the woods was the place Lianna has been seeing in her dreams. But he something in him told Damien to trust her and so they started to carefully enter.
"No!" Lianna said quickly
"What?"
"we cant go in with the car, I sense there is something or someone in here"
"But we need light lillie-"
"No...." Looking deep in the woods with eyes in whole circles, "dont you hear it.. we have to go on foot something awaits us in the woods...please Damien just trust me on this one" Something in her voice kept Damien calm and again he decided to trust her, at this point he didn't know why he could be so calm he tried his best to be nervous like he should be but something in his heart, his nerves was completely calm, and theirs no way Lianna would come up with a lie like this, let alone let it get this far.
They both got out of the car and entered the woods, carefully Lianna payed attention to the sounds around her, but all she could hear was her own breath, once they entered the whispers where gone.
*rumble*
The ground started shaking
"Lillie! Come here hold on to me where getting out!"
"NO Damien we need to stay its fine everything is fine"
"Lillie please-"
Lianna grabbed Damiens face and pulled it closer to hers she looked in his eyes with sincerity, she whispered.
"Im right here sweetheart"
Suddenly the earth stopped shaking and Damien calmed down, as the two looked behind them, they noticed a light coming from the grass, it was faint but still noticeable, this time Damien walked towards it, he noticed that the grass looked almost fake or no almost like a door. Carefully he opened it to reveal a staircase leading down in the ground. Damien grabbed Lianna's hand and brought her down step by step and carefully aware of what might be at the end of these steps.
They didn't see anyone but could see the room around them, it was marble, the floors where made of checkered marble and the walls where stone and the color of skin. The table in the middle is what Lianna's attention the most, she walked over to it, to see two shoes, one was was a golden heel for a women, the other was a shoe a man would where with a tux. But there was a note engraved in a golden plate. "For a legend untold is a legend forgotten" .
"Damien come here"
"what is it-.. what is that?"
"there shoes"
"well ya I know that but why are they here?"
"I dont know but I just got the strongest urge to take it, what about you"
"No whoever these are, cant be for us-"
"Then why would be sent down here if they wherent meant for us Damien?"
"no..no hold on this dosent make any sense what do these shoes have to do with us-"
"Thats what we need to find out, Damien thats why we are here in the first place, dont tell me you dont feel it too, you are trying to use logic instead of just doing what your feel in your soul"
Lianna put her hand against his chest as she carefully felt his heartbeat carefully, which also seemed to calm her down as well. Lianna took her hand and Damien hand and rested both of them by the shoe assigned to them. They both carefully touched their shoes when a moment of silence fell upon the both of them.
"NO! Dont hurt him nooooo!"
"Lillie..Lillie hay hay im right here"
Lillie started to scream and cry which pulled Damien back into reality, he caught her before she fell to the ground and slowly closed her eyes, Damien started to panic he didnt know what just happened to her, he looked for her heart beat to find that it was still there along with her breathing.
'she is fine' Damien repeated in his mind over and over, he picked her up and settled her on his knee while he placed himself up against the stone and wait for her awakening.
