Waking up the birds that filled the forest with beautiful music, Lianna reached up to touch the sky to stretch waking herself up slowly. As he peeked through her long eyelashes she was greeted with Damien sitting on the couch across from her sipping coffee. She looked a little to her right to see some clothes piled together.
"I see you are up'' He wanted to say more but he held himself back and let his voice remain cold.
"What are those clothes over there" She sounded like an angel when she woke up and she looked it too even though her hair was disheveled and there was drool dripping from the side of her mouth she just looked even cuter.
"Oh take these go upstairs into the bathroom, take a shower and put these on"
"but I don't have any shamp--"
"I got you some already in there along with some other feminine accessories''
"oh.. ok thank you really..Damien-"
"Don't mention it just go get dressed so you don't get a cold from last night"
In silence Lianna walked up the stairs to the bathroom, she got lost a couple of times but she made it finally when she noticed the bathroom was in Damien's room. She set the clothes on the bathtub to see what Damien picked out for her, and it wasn't too bad. The shirt was a dark emerald green like her cape and the pants were black jeggings with black fluffy socks to go with it. The shampoo he picked out was the closest he could get to her hair scent, which he came to the conclusion smelled more like roses.
Lianna turned on the bath and situated herself in the tub till she became relaxed enough to take a nap. Waking up she rose with the delicious smell of breakfast filling her small nose. Lianna got dressed and headed downstairs to see a beautifully set breakfast, when she looked at the person cooking the breakfast she tried biting her lip to hold back a smile, she didn't notice it before but the way this man cooked was delicate and precise, she didn't wanna disturb him so Lianna sat down and waited for him to turn around.
Damien turned around to see a soaking wet Lianna dripping her wet hair all over the table he wanted to scold her but when he looked at those beautiful green eyes, his own heart fluttered a bit which made Damien alarmed thinking he might be getting sick.
"what took you so long Lillie" and that was the first time he called her that name
"I fell asleep," she said quietly almost embarrassed
"Your face is all red right now you know hehe.. anyway here's your breakfast I made french onion soup"
"oh my gosh this smells soooo good"
"glad you like it" Lianna took her time to look up at his facial expression, she knows he meant it by the tone of his voice but his face said something else almost like that was the shield covering up everything else. She wanted to ask him something or just talk to him, living in this cabin had to be lonely.
"How is your day so far Damien?"
Shock flew on his face, his mouth gaped as he calmly looked down at his food.
"don't act like- don't, huhhh just eat ok"
"but-"
"I don't wanna talk about it Lillie"
'my name?' she thought to herself
"then can you tell me why you call me that name?"
Damien held his spoon in his hand when he looked up piercing through his hair.
"cause you remind me of that flower"
"elaborate"
"no that's all you get"
"what? Damien tells me it's my name I deserve to know why you call me and that and most importantly what you think of when you do."
"Fine but this is all you get, and I'm not saying anything more for the rest of the day"
He took her silence for a yes
"I think.. Lillies are pretty and well their small and just look so delicate"
Lianna felt her tears water but told herself not to get emotional, she breathed in and out to calm herself down.
"and what flower do you think of yourself as?"
"I told you-"
"please Damien"
"umm I don't know maybe a dandelion you know a weed"
she didn't know what to say all she could think of is how someone can just talk about themselves like that like they're nothing.
Lianna stood up and wrapped her arms around his neck leaving Damien in utter shock he didn't know what to do. Lianna continued to whisper in his ear.
"you know dandelions are of good source... they hold properties found in medicine they're actually good for you, helpful little healers. They look so delicate too and graceful"
"Lillie?..." Damien said under his breath when again he felt his heart flutter and face begin to turn red.
"hehe.. now look whose face is red" she joked and giggled childishly
"you're so childish, Lillie. hehe," Damien too returned the small giggle under his breath.
Lianna sat back down and the both of them continued to eat and finish their breakfast.
