Liann made salmon with some salad on the side. She didn't feel like calling for Damien and something told her he wasn't gonna respond. Lianna walked up with both dishes and went right into his room.
"Damien you up?"
"Why are you in my room?'' Damien asked ut his voice sounded as if he just woke up
"I made dinner"
He didn't say anything and instead just rose to grab his plate now sitting in an upright position, he was so taken away by the look and smell of the food he didn't notice his shirt was unbuttoned revealing his wonderful chest muscles.
Lianna sat on the other side and ignored Damien's stare at her and turned on the tv. Everything was a little unsteady at first. But sooner or later things began to calm down again and the air relaxing.
"Damien can we get out of here?"
"what do you mean?" His voice seemed calmer now
"Let's go to your kingdom, there is more food there and clothes-''
"lillie..look I'm gonna say this in the nicest way but the villagers hate me, my own father hates me cause I ran away."
"But I'm gonna be with you, and I won't leave your side when the coronation?"
"in 2 days"
"Look I know you hate everyone there but your gonna be king soon you don't have to abide by anyone rules"
"lillie.. there's something I didn't tell you but my father has made an arranged marriage with the Long family, they are very powerful people and for our kingdoms to come together I must marry their daughter"
"do you love her?"
"no"
"then why are you going through with it?"
"I have to"
"Gosh Damien!.. no seriously your gonna marry someone you don't even love? Your the one becoming king not her so why-"
"Lillie you don't understand our kingdoms have been at war with each other for countless-"
"so what we can figure another way, there is always another way Damien, you shouldn't marry her"
Damien looked at her for a while when he realized the real reason for this outburst.
"are you jealous Lillie?
"no I- I just- Damien" Lianna said sorrowfully
Damien set down his plate and made his way towards Liannas face, and cupped t with his hands, he stared into her now blushed face as he felt his doing the same thing. Suddenly he leaned in and kissed her. Passionately he started prying open her mouth to intertwine her tongue with his as spit fell out of both their mouths and small moans filled the silent room.
Damien pulled away and took a look at her now to see her face look astonished at what just happened.
She breathed in and then out.
"Damien lets go... what if you marry me instead, you want me and I want you"
"it's too early to get-"
"no, I mean a fake marriage right now just so you don't get married to Long's daughter. Then after we can come back here and just be with another."
"oh Lillie" Damien kissed her again but this time it wasn't as passionate of a kiss before but more of an I agree on kind of kiss.
"We can run away together.." Damien smiled and took Lianna by the hand. What he did first went straight to a chapel and elope with her. It was a chaotic night but as soon as they made their way back to the castle, they heard songs playing in the background.
"must be a ball tonight..'' Damien said disappointed
"then let's go in and dance" Lianna suggested
"We are not going in there wearing the clothes we have now"
"let's go get some come on!"
Lianna grabbed Damien's hand and ran off into the nearest store.
They looked all over as eyes from people passing them watched and gossip. Most of it was about Lianna since she was seen with Damien, and at this point, the news was out about his arranged marriage.
Lianna went inside the changing room, she picked out a beautiful champagne ball gown when she walked out...Damien wasn't there. 'where did this man go he is always wandering off' Lianna scoffed to herself. She looked everywhere for him, and she couldn't leave the store, she decided to try on more outfits, maybe he went off for a tux.
*knock Knock*
"who is it?" Lianna asked
"its me Lillie"
"oh Damien!" she burst out of the changing room in a red gown that dropped at the waist
"wow look at you, you look beautiful"
"thank you.. now, where were you?"
"Oh I was getting this"
He pulled out a sapphire ring from his pants pocket and placed it on her finger.
"Damien I thought-"
"I know but I just saw it and I thought you would really like it? When we get married for real Ill get you a different ring but-"
"No no Damien I love it it's beautiful"
Lianna wrapped her arms around Damien's neck and kissed his cheek, he returned the favor and wrapped his arms around her waist. The two left with the red dress and tux and made their way to the castle for the ball
