(After Sin takes Dante back to Crow's Perch, Kitara and Marcy arrive back at the hideout.)
Marcy: Just what was that just now? There is more than one Bloody Crow?
Kitara: There is only one Bloody Crow. There is a lot you do not know, Marcy.
Marcy: Why did Sin take him?
Kitara: To deliver him to the Black Crow. They're going to Crow's Perch, formerly known as the Unknown Yatagarsu Temple.
Marcy: Well aren't you going to save him?
Kitara: If the Black Crow doesn't wish to see me, there is nothing I can do. I just hope he can talk her out of killing him.
(As Kitara says this, Sin arrives back at Crow's Perch with Dante in tow. Once there, they begin to walk up the steps.)
Sin: I wanted to tell you that it was an honor hunting with you. I will mourn you.
Dante: You can save your farewell for a later date in the future, Sin.
Sin: There is no way you will live after she descends upon you. You may have been her top student at one point, but she will not spare you. She spares no one.
Dante: She cannot kill me and she already knows why. Besides, I haven't paid you back for that kick.
Sin: I had hoped you did. We are here at the edge. Farewell.
(As Sin says this, The Black Crow descends upon Dante and take him to the training mountain where she only taught Dante. Once there, she and Dante stand across from each other.)
Lenneth: Don your cloak Crow. I do not wish to see you.
(As Lenneth says this, Dante summons his gear.)
Dante: I will not fight you Lenneth.
Lenneth: Do not speak my name.
(As Lenneth says this, she zooms towards Dante with a stiff punch and a fast kick to the gut that sends Dante crashing through the ground. As Dante gets up to a knee, he starts to spit up blood.)
Lenneth: Face me!
Dante: No! I am not Fallen. I will not fight you.
Lenneth: You will face me, Bloody Crow!
(Upon saying this, Lenneth vanishes in front of Dante, grabs him by the face and slams him into the ground. After this, she summons her sword, a black steel sword called Fallen and points it at his chest.)
Lenneth: Fight me, Dante.
(As she says this, Dante's mask shatters into pieces after the impact of being slammed into the ground with such force.)
Dante: I've already told you, Lenneth. I am not Fallen. You won't kill me, you couldn't even if you wanted to. You know why.
Lenneth: Don't think because I took you in that I won't kill you. I've killed many Fallen before you. It is all the same.
Dante: If you really think that I've Fallen, then just go ahead and get it over with.
(As Dante says this, she lifts him up and places her blade alongside Dante's neck.)
Lenneth: Is that to be your final words?
(As Lenneth says this, tear starts to flow from Dante's eyes.
Dante: He beat me...He tortured me for years. Never acknowledge my achievements, but always cared for Stephen. Made my own mother strip away my power than had the nerve to have me executed in front of everyone! I will hunt him...I must descend upon him the only way I know how and take his life.....Because he is my mark....So I must hunt him for my sake.
Lenneth: You've found your first mark.
Dante: You knew this.....From the day you found me, you knew. You knew this day would come, didn't you?
Lenneth: I did. I had hoped to steer you away from it for as long as I could.
Dante: Why?
Lenneth: Because out of the people that I have taught and trained, you Dante are the only one to have found their mark. And since you have, you would be destined to become the next Black Crow. And I didn't want for you.
Dante: So are you going to do it?
Lenneth: It is as you said, I cannot kill you.
(As Lenneth says this, back in the Lockheart Kingdom, Mason sits in his office as Kate walks in.)
Kate: I want an explanation. Tell me why you committed this unspeakable act against my son.
Mason: Because Dante has the Raven Gene
Kate: The Raven Gene? You mean just like Dawn Yukamoto?
Mason: Dante is a descendant of him. You and I have read the story of the Raven and the Crimson War. Those two races fought against one another for eons that until the
True God Genesis wiped them out completely. Destroying both worlds, but long before that many of the Ravens and Crimsons grew weary of war and fled to other planets. What the books don't tell you is that The Great Raven Sage bore a child with a human before the entirety of race both races vanished.
Kate: And that child was Dawn Yukamoto.
Mason: Dawn Yukamoto nearly destroyed this planet and he would've if it wasn't for August Wolfheart, your ancestor. And if Dante is a descendant of Dawn then he was evil incarnate. I had to save this planet! Look at what he has become now. He's the Bloody Crow. An assassin who has destroyed Kingdoms alongside Lenneth. He is just like Dawn Yukamoto was. We should be grateful that Stephen has the Crimson Gene. He is our only chance to stop him, Kate.
Kate: I don't want to hear any more of this madness. I'm going to my lab.
Mason: You heard him today, Kate. He is after me and will kill anyone who gets in his way. We must deal with him and soon.
Kate: How could I've been so blind and not see what Dante was going through? This is all my fault.
(As Kate says this, she leaves.)
