Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

While Nathan and Roxie were driving to Nathan's band mates house; Roxie looked out the window and was captivated by the peacefulness of the countryside.

"I take it you like the surroundings." Nathan told Roxie.

"Yeah, it kind of reminds me of these little camping trips my dad and I would do before I went to school during the end of summer before I would go to school. It just brings back a ton of memories of when I was growing up." Roxie smiled.

"Well hopefully one of these days I will have the pleasure to join you and your dad on one of those little camping trips." Nathan mentioned. Pretty soon Nathan and Roxie had arrived to the main entrance of Nathan and his band mates house. Once Nathan and Roxie had arrived at the band's house; Roxie was completely stunned at what she was seeing right in front of her. The house was ginormous. Exterior wise the house was like a modern day English countryside mansion. Roxie was stunned let alone confused of how a guy like Nathan and his friends would live in a house like this on their own.

"This is your band's house? This place is huge!" Roxie stated.

"Eh; it really isn't that big of a house. All it is really is a regular 5 bedroom 3 and a half bathroom two story house with two bonus rooms which my mates and I use as an office and a media room." Nathan replied as he parked the car in the driveway.

"You guys have a media room? I only thought celebrities had all that type of stuff." Roxie said.

"Well, it's not really used as a media room. It's more of a mini studio and game room. We call it a media room as an easier way to describe it to other people. Anyway, welcome to my band's house." Nathan explained. When Roxie entered the house, she was completely amazed at what she was seeing. Sure; the house seemed ordinary, but with it's modern traditional interior design, Roxie felt as if she was in a mansion. The main entry way of the house had a spiral staircase that lead to a magnificent kitchen and living room.

"Wow; this place is really nice." Roxie gasped.

"Thanks; I'll be sure to tell my manager when he comes back to town." Nathan stated.

"Your manager isn't in London?"

"He had to go to America for some business deals, but he'll be gone for about a month. In other words, your little weekend sleepover will mean nothing to him once he gets back." Nathan replied.

"What about his personal assistants? Don't they usually stop by here too?" Roxie said.

"Yeah, she does; but she only comes and visits me and the boys for a few minutes and then leaves. It rarely happens, so you have nothing to worry about." Nathan mentioned.

"So let me get this straight; you and your band mates live in this house all by yourselves with not one person from your managers company coming to check up on you guys while he is away on a business trip. That must be awful for all four of you, not to mention lonely." Roxie said.

"It's ok, me and the boys are already used to it by now so we're not too worried about the whole being alone scenario. Besides, my aunt or cousins stop by sometimes just to drop off food for us to eat while our manager is away. The boys and I used to actually have a personal assistant ourselves that would stay in one of the guest bedrooms while our manager was on one of his business trips, but sadly we haven't had a personal assistant over a year because of some misunderstandings." Nathan sighed.

"Gosh; that must be awful for all four of you to loose someone, like a personal assistant; that way in your music career. Anyway; it's getting late and I do believe the relaxing part of the tea that you gave me is finally kicking in, so I'm going to sleep." Roxie yawned.

"Ok, then I guess I'll see you in the morning. Oh; if you need anything, just shout my name and I'll come as quickly as I can, the bathroom is down that hallway on the left, and if by chance you get a little thirsty; there are some water bottles in the refrigerator on the bottom shelf." Nathan told her.

"Cool, thanks; goodnight Nathan." Roxie smiled.

"Goodnight, Roxie; see you in the morning." Nathan replied. As Nathan went to head upstairs, he couldn't help but smile about the new friendship he had made with Roxie.

Early the next morning, Calvin had gotten up to go out for his usual morning work out. Every morning, Calvin would get up at around 6 AM to go run about 5 miles and then come back and do an intense strength and ab workout. It was around 7:15 when Calvin had come downstairs for some odd reason, he was getting a bit hungry. So Calvin went into the kitchen to go make himself some toast. While Calvin was making his mini breakfast; Roxie was laying on the living room couch fast asleep. When Calvin turned around to leave, he caught a glimpse of Roxie sleeping on the couch. Calvin, of course; shrugged it off thinking that it was probably one of the many pub or night club girls that Nathan would bring to the house after having a few drinks. Later that morning around 9; Landon and Paul were just waking up from their well deserved sleep. Around the same time, Roxie was awake and about to take a nice hot shower. Meanwhile upstairs; Landon was just about to head into the shower. Paul, as usual; was about to head downstairs to go to the kitchen to go make breakfast. Every morning, Paul would walk past Nathan's bedroom before heading downstairs. When he walked past Nathan's bedroom, Paul took a quick peak into the room.

"Hmm; no girls this time, that's a bit strange." Paul said to himself. Paul then continued to head downstairs to the kitchen. All of a sudden Paul saw Roxie's suitcases and belongings by the living room couch.

"What is all this stuff doing here?" Paul wondered. Paul then went over to Roxie's belongings to see if he could find out who's it belonged to in the first place. Paul found it weird that someone could leave a bunch of suitcases around the living room when there was no clear sign of anyone in the first place. Paul then pushed his confusion aside and continued on his plans to make breakfast. Meanwhile, Roxie was just getting out of the shower downstairs. Roxie opted for some jeans, T-shirt and sneakers for her outfit for the day and putting her hair in a low bun. When Paul heard the door close; he instantly thought it was Calvin.

"Hey Calvin; do you by chance know-oh, my gosh," Paul gulped once he saw Roxie standing right in front of him. "You are definitely not Calvin." he said.

"Sorry, but I don't see a Calvin around here. I'm Roxie by the way; and you are?" Roxie asked.

"Oh, my name is-." Paul started.

"Paul, there you are! I've been calling you for the past five minutes." Landon said to him.

"Wait; you two know each other?" Roxie asked. Landon then turned around and instantly jumped with complete shock at seeing Roxie.

"Paul, why is there a girl standing in the entrance to the living room?" Landon whispered.

"Landon, this is Roxie. I was actually going to ask her why she's here too." Paul said. All of a sudden the front door opened and Calvin entered the room.

"Hey guys; I'm surprised to see you boys down here super early. Whoa; who is this?" Calvin asked.

"Oh, you must be Calvin; Paul I believe was just looking for you." Roxie told him.

"Ok, well thanks for letting me know-?"

"Wow; I'm being totally rude, I'm Roxie Rodriguez." Roxie smiled.

"It's nice to meet you Roxie; I'm Calvin Harper." Calvin told her.

"Wait; you're Calvin Harper, as in Calvin Harper from Fifth Avenue Square?" Roxie asked.

"Yeah, that's me and I believe you met my band mates Paul Bloomington, Landon Johnson and-." Calvin replied.

"Nathan; there you are, come over here and meet our new friend." Landon started.

"Roxie; um-you're up early this morning." Nathan stuttered.

"Yeah, I'm kind of used to waking up early back in New York. It's funny; your friends here were just telling me that they were Paul, Landon and Calvin from Fifth Avenue Square." Roxie giggled.

"Really; well, isn't that just surprising." Nathan said sarcastically.

"Wait; you two know each other?" Landon asked.

"Sure we do; Nathan and I met each other last night at his aunt and uncle's pub called The Smouldering Hog. He actually helped me when I fainted and hit my head from being out in all of that rain last night." Roxie answered back.

"Really; Nathan, you didn't by chance-oh, I don't know-tell Roxie who you really are yet?" Paul asked him.

"No, I haven't gotten to that part yet. Thanks for reminding me; Paul." Nathan grimaced.

"Nathan; what is Paul talking about? Did you forget to tell me something?" Roxie asked.

"Yeah, he did; he forgot to tell you that he is Nathan Hendrickson from Fifth Avenue Square." Landon told her. When Roxie heard this; her eyes went wide with complete shock. Roxie then turned around and looked at Calvin, Paul, Landon and then Nathan; Roxie then rushed over to her cell phone and went looking for her playlist of music.

"Roxie; before you start to panic and what not, let me just explain everything. Roxie, are you even listening to me?" Nathan asked her. Roxie then looked down at her phone and gasped with complete shock.

"Roxie; are you feeling ok?" Nathan asked her. Roxie then turned down slowly to look at Nathan. All of a sudden; Roxie's hands were shaking along with the rest of her body.

"Oh, my gosh." Roxie whispered.
