After a while, the five roommates started to get tired. Nathan then started to call over Annie for the dinner check.
"Are you boys all stuffed now?" Annie asked once she got to the booth.
"Surprisingly yes; but hands down that was the best Irish pub dinner that I have eaten in years." Roxie stated.
"Good to hear; I'll send your kind words to the chef himself." Annie smiled.
"Oh, come on Annie; why don't you bring on out Uncle Hank so Nathan here can introduce him to Roxie? I'm pretty sure he would love to meet the girl that Nathan saved the other night when he saved Roxie from that awful rainstorm." Calvin teased.
"Ha, ha; very funny you guys. I'm pretty sure Uncle Hank doesn't even want to see us right now." Nathan remarked.
"Really; then explain to me why I'm standing with your aunt right now boy." Uncle Hank said. Nathan then gulped and turned around to see both his aunt and uncle standing behind Annie.
"Hello Uncle Hank; it's nice to see you. Roxie, this is my Uncle Hank. He is the main owner of The Smouldering Hog along with my Auntie Lizzie." Nathan said.
"So you're the mysterious Uncle Hank; Nathan has told me so many great things about the two of you." Roxie said.
"Oh, wow; what are some of the great things Nathan has said about us?" Auntie Lizzie asked her.
"There really isn't that much to say, he's just really grateful to have a family like yours that is willing to support and watch over him and the boys while they are living here in London. It means the world to him that you guys are willing to sacrifice your time and effort to help these boys accomplish their dreams." Roxie admitted.
"Well; that is definitely something you don't get to here everyday. I like this one; you boys got a good one right here." Uncle Hank chuckled.
"Yeah, I couldn't have said it better myself." Nathan smiled. Roxie then looked at Nathan and gave him a little smile.
"Anyway; we better get back to the house. We boys have a busy day with a bunch of work which includes preparing for our next album." Paul said.
"Wait; let me at least get a picture with Nathan's family first and then we can head back to the car." Roxie said. Roxie then took out her camera and gave it to Nathan so he could take the picture. Once Nathan had finished taking the picture, the group then started to head to the back of the pub. While Tom and Uncle Hank were loading up the band's meal supplies into the car, Roxie went to give back Nathan's mom's old raincoat.
"Alright her is Nathan's mom's old raincoat that I borrowed. I also washed it from you, so you don't have to worry about that little detail. Anyway; I think that's about it, thanks again for dinner." Roxie smiled.
"No problem; oh, Roxie about the whole water war thing Paul texted me about earlier today; Tom and I will gladly help you out with everything." Annie told her.
"Really; wow-thank you; that's a huge relief." Roxie sighed.
"Believe me; if there's anything that could get Nathan to work on those songs I guarantee that little plan of yours will definitely get him to at least start writing one song. Nathan is just really self-cautious when it comes to tasks like these." Annie stated.
"Hmm; I wonder why though, I mean I have only been staying at the house for almost a week now. He should have at least came to me for some advice by now," Roxie wondered. "Anyway; I'd better get back to the boys or Paul will start to throw a little hissy fit about me taking so long to get back to the car." she added. Roxie then gave Annie a hug and walked back to the band's car.
The following days after that; Roxie, Calvin, Landon, Paul, Annie and Tom were busy getting ready for the water war for Nathan. So far everything was going pretty smoothly. Roxie had all the supplies that she needed and they were all stored in the closet in her bedroom. The only problem was how the group was going to distract Nathan.
"Why don't I take Nathan out to do my morning run with me? That alone will give you, Annie and Tom plenty of time to set up everything around the house." Calvin suggested.
"No; that won't work because I need you to save up all your energy for that day. Besides; I was thinking of having all four of you boys to be on one team, that way you boys could work on being on a team. If there's one thing that I know about bands is that teamwork is the number one important quality that makes a band successful." Roxie stated.
"How about we kind of surprise Nathan with the water war once he gets out of his room. We could leave out his water gun and a few water balloons outside his bedroom door and one of us could knock on the door until Nathan gets out of his bed." Landon suggested.
"That actually isn't that bad of an idea, what we could do is every five minutes each of us could knock on Nathan's bedroom door. I'm pretty sure with that kind of motive Nathan will get somewhat annoyed and he would definitely get out of bed to see who had been disturbing him while he's sleeping." Roxie admitted.
"So then that settles it; we have everything ready for tomorrow morning." Paul stated.
"What's going on tomorrow morning?" Nathan asked them while he walked into the kitchen.
"Well; we were just um-." Calvin gulped.
"These three were just telling me about Lexie's next house visit for you guys is coming up pretty soon. So I thought it would be a great idea if the four of you could pitch in by cleaning up the house a little bit before she gets here and I was also going to suggest that I stay the night over at your aunt and uncle's place so you boys won't get into a whole lot of trouble." Roxie interrupted.
"Oh, ok; me and the guys will be sure to do that and Roxie, I've already told you; there is no need to worry about Lexie's little house visits. All Lexie does is come by, check up on our progress with our project that Scott gives us and then leaves the house to do more errands for Scott or hang out with her posse. Everything will be fine; trust me." Nathan told her. Nathan then grabbed a water bottle from the refrigerator and walked back to his room. Roxie then just sighed and Paul, Calvin and Landon then went over to Roxie to comfort her.
