Jungkook lifted his head up as he gazed upwards towards the beautiful night sky. The brightly lit stars shimmered back down at him as he opened his mouth in awe at the stunning sight. This was the last thing he wanted to see in this depressing, chilly winter night. In all honesty, he was glad that Jimin chose to live at a area with less light pollution in the city. No one would be able to experience this back where the dorm is at.
The feeling of the cold breeze touching his pale face sent shivers down his spine as he hugged himself for warmth. Diverting his sight back in front of him, he slowly walked back towards the dorm.
Occasionally, he would look behind his shoulder when a little snap of a stick or footsteps could be heard from afar. It wasn't that he was paranoid,
He just couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was following him.
Upon arriving at the front of the building where the member's dorm is located at, he glanced around left to right to see if there was actually a person watching him from the distance. The eerie darkness from the empty alleyway from across the street made his body stiffen in fright.
'Someone isn't following me'
He would repeat to himself as he clutched the cotton fabric of his hoodie.
'I better get inside.'
His hand reached towards the metal door handle. Gripping onto it, he pulled it down which made the glass door open. From the reflection of the glass, a tiny glint of light was noticeably seen coming from the area where Jungkook last examined.
But he chose to ignore it.
Which was a terrible mistake.
The silent walk to the dorm made him rethink the events that happened tonight. First, he thought about the stupid fight he had with Jimin. It didn't work out the way he wanted it to and he never expected his friend to get angry at him like that. Second, he thought about his encounter with (Y/N).
He paused.
Pushing his hands inside his pockets, he furrowed his eyebrows in concentration as he was in deep thought.
Her tear streaked face is something that Jungkook would never forget. At this point, the sight was burned deep down inside his mind. Of course, he had witnessed her crying on multiple occasions before but it wasn't as serious as tonight's.
Deeply inhaling through his nose, he continued his stroll to the dorm. As while doing so, he crossed his fingers in hope that the members weren't awake. He didn't want to be bombarded with question after question about what happened.
Arriving in front of the door, he inputted the number code and ever so slowly turned the knob. A small sliver of light illuminated through the small creak, which indicated that the members were still awake.
Cursing under his breath, he mentally prepared himself for the chaos he will experience once he fully opened the door.
The members, who were sitting down on the couch gazed over at the door. Jungkook peeked his head through, his eyes catching the stare of every member on him. Now fully revealing himself, he closed the door behind him and removed his boots.
"So..." Namjoon, the leader of the group started, "How was it?"
Walking over to the couch, Jungkook sighed as he plopped himself down. "It went horrible."
Seokjin who was staring at the maknae shuffled uncomfortably around in his seat. He felt terrible for leaving him alone to handle things with Jimin. He was the oldest for crying out loud, what he did back then was very immature of him.
"Seokjin." Namjoon stated, making the members except Jungkook direct their attention towards the eldest of the group.
"Aren't you forgetting something?"
Seokjin widened his eyes as he gulped down, "O-oh..."
Jungkook took a glance at him, a look of betrayal and disappointment was plastered on his face.
"I'm sorry Jungkook... You know how I am. Jimin... he's a little scary when he's mad and-"
"Enough." The youngest interrupted, "I don't want to hear your stupid apology."
Seokjin stared at him with wide eyes before lowering his head down in shame, causing his bangs to fall over his eyes. The others gasped in shock at Jungkook's change in attitude.
"Jungkook."
Everyone in the room became quiet by the leader's stern voice.
"Apologize. Now."
"Why do I have to apologize?!" Jungkook exclaimed, giving Namjoon a look of disbelief.
"He's older than you, you shouldn't be talking like that to him." Namjoon explained. In all honesty, he was pretty shocked as well. He thought that the maknae would accept Seokjin's apology and call it a day but he didn't.
"I know that he's older than me, you don't have to keep repeating that every time!" Jungkook snapped, standing up from his spot as he pointed at the oldest. "You don't understand!-"
"Understand what?" Namjoon questioned as he stood up as well. The members were quietly watching the scene unfold in front of them. Of course, they wanted to at least say something, maybe perhaps defend their friend, but they were too nervous to do anything. But they were more surprised at how quickly things escalated.
Taehyung on the other hand observed the youngest as he grew suspicious of him.
He knew something must have happened back at Jimin's apartment.
"You don't understand how freaking frustrating it is for me! Weren't you guys surprised when he said that he would come with me to Jimin's apartment?" Jungkook asked as he looked around the room. A couple of them were nodding their heads while some of them muttered a quiet 'yeah'.
He clicked his tongue in annoyance at their behavior, "When he said that, I felt happy!" The members looked at the youngest in confusion.
'Why would he be happy about that?' Everyone thought to themselves.
"I felt happy because someone finally decided to help me talk things out with him. I've always been alone when doing these kinds of stuff because you guys," He pointed at every single member, "You guys don't even help out a friend! We've known Jimin for so long, for almost a decade, but you guys don't even try to understand what's wrong with him!"
"Jungkook that's enough!" Namjoon yelled, causing the youngest to quiver in fear. The leader looked like he was about to burst in any second.
"Go to your room, I don't want to hear anything coming from you." He placed his hands on his hips as he glared at Jungkook.
"You're not my dad! You're just saying that because you know that it's TRUE! You guys tried to help him from the start but I don't freaking understand why you guys suddenly stopped caring about him!"
Everyone became silent.
"If Seokjin wasn't such a freaking scaredy cat, if he would actually come inside the apartment with me, I think the situation me and Jimin had created would've been handled differently!" The members dropped their heads low, except for Namjoon and Taehyung.
"If Seokjin came, Jimin would've actually cooperated but instead... he shut me out! He shut me out because I've been trying to help him since the beginning while you guys stayed inside the dorm since you guys gave up so easily!"
Before Namjoon could actually punch the shit out of him, Taehyung stood up. He has had enough of Jungkook's bullshit.
"Jungkook, follow me." He ordered, glaring daggers at the youngest.
"Why would I follow you? I'm trying to educate these idiots about how stupid they are for doing absolutely nothing about this!-" Before he could continue, Namjoon interrupted.
"Just follow him." Namjoon demanded, plopping himself down on the couch as he placed his head on the palms of his hands. He rubbed his temples to calm himself down from all the stress Jungkook has caused. The others felt sympathetic towards their leader and hurt about what Jungkook had accused them for.
Over time as they thought about Jungkook's words, there was some truth behind it. But of course, they didn't want to admit it.
Following the leader's orders, the younger followed Taehyung to his room, still unsure as to why he called him in the first place. Slamming the door behind him in frustration, he thought to himself.
'So annoying...'
Inhaling deeply through his nose, he turned around to see Taehyung standing in the middle of the room with his arms crossed over his chest.
"What did you tell him?" Taehyung questioned, turning around to face the brown haired man.
Jungkook tilted his head in confusion. "Why do you want to know?" He asked, sounding a bit harsh than intended.
Taehyung however repeatedly tapped his foot on the ground and furrowed his eyebrows in irritation. "Why are you not answering my question?"
"Why do you even care?" Jungkook barked back, gritting his teeth in anger. Why would Taehyung suddenly want to know what's going on when he has been avoiding Jimin's situation for quite some time now.
"Are you talking back to me?"
Jungkook opened his mouth to retort back but Taehyung's frustrated sigh caught him of guard.
"You're hiding something, aren't you?" Taehyung asked in an accusing tone of voice.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Jungkook scoffed, crossing his arms around his chest, mimicking the same pose as the older one.
"Don't be so dramatic." Taehyung retorted, clicking his tongue in the process. "You told him about her didn't you?"
'What!?'
Jungkook's eyes widened in shock but quickly came back to his normal composure. Clicking his tongue in annoyance, he turned his head away from him.
Hearing nothing coming out of Jungkook's mouth, made Taehyung's suspicion become true.
"You know how fucking sensitive Jimin gets over her, that's probably why he shut you out in the first place." Taehyung snapped, pointing a accusing finger at him. Jungkook grabbed onto Taehyung's wrist and gripped onto it tightly. Taehyung however showed no sign of pain, which irritated the youngest.
"I do know how sensitive he gets about her! But that was all I could think of for him to start talking!" Jungkook's hand trembled with anger.
Taehyung sighed, shaking his wrist off from Jungkook's hold. The brown haired man just stared at the floor, not bothering to look up at his friend.
"Jungkook."
No response.
"Jungkook." He repeated himself.
No response.
"Jeon Jungkook!"
"What?!"
"You're worried about her aren't you?"
The youngest was about to open his mouth to respond he hesitated. Giving out a frustrated sigh, he leaned against the wall slid down until his bottom reached the floor. He looked up at Taehyung with a defeated look in his eyes. Anything about (Y/N) made Jungkook feel weak.
"Of course I am, aren't you?"
"She's a strong person, she knows how to handle these types of situations." Taehyung exclaimed, simply ignoring the maknae's question.
Sighing, Jungkook ruffled his hair and replied, "I know she is..."
"Just so you know, you shouldn't say that the members aren't trying to help him. The members probably helped him more than you have but they just haven't shown it." Taehyung stated, concluding the end of their small fight.
As time passed, Jungkook began to wonder what was happening back at the apartment between (Y/N) and Jimin.
He hoped it wasn't anything too painful for her to handle.
'If Jimin made her cry again...'
Jungkook thought, balling his hand into a tight fist as his knuckles began to turn white. Taehyung noticed this weird gesture but didn't really bother to question about it. He just knew that whatever Jungkook was thinking about, it had to be something related to her.
At this point, his friend has gone completely crazy.
