Sigh, this garbage rain shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. I wonder if the news channel says otherwise...
I grab the remote and turned on the humongous flat-screen television that the "normal and middle-classed" Kana keeps in her room.
I was greeted with a very charismatic weather forecast...
"Hey, y'all! It's me again! Heavy rain, huh? I know I said that today will show minor rain, but I guess mother earth had a mood swing, am I right? Hahaha! So, jokes aside, tonight will probably be a very wet night, close to flooding, actually! But don't worry, it's only close to flooding! We have our graceful sewer drains everywhere! Thank God for that!"
Oh, my fricking, this guy has to be wrong, right?
"Looks like it won't stop anytime soon, " Haruka said.
Before I could speak, a knock on the door was heard and it suddenly opened. It was the maid.
"Young Mistress, we have an emergency! The driver fell down the stairs!" She said.
Perfect timing? I think so too! What a weird world!
After this coincidental event, the maid proceeded to explain the situation.
"So, basically, Alfred was wet from the rain and slipped down the stairs."
Wow, brief. I like it.
"Anyways, your mother has requested for your friends to stay for the night and use the guest rooms we prepared." the maid continued.
Wait, what?! I tried to say something but was interrupted by the maid,
"Hey, can't we—"
"Oh! If you're wondering if your parents were notified, no need to worry! We have already called and asked for permission! Akari, dear, your parents were hard to contact! Hahaha!" she laughed.
How did she read my mind, what the heck? And so quick to respond to a situation too! These maids are actually pretty professional!
"Oh, erm, they live in the countryside, so the signal is pretty bad..." I replied.
Anyways, after that sudden notification, the gang finally finished studying and moved on to a bigger problem, who's staying where?
"How many rooms are there in total?" I asked.
Kana replied, "Alright, I'll explain, so including my room, there are two rooms in total. So two people stay somewhere and three people stay here. I'm willing to offer my room. I mean, you gotta be a good host, right?"
"Good point, but how are we gonna decide on who are staying here and there?" I replied.
"Isn't it obvious?! A game, of course!" Hotaru said proudly.
I wonder what we're gonna play... Hopefully something easy so I can beat 'em and read manga all night!
We all rush downstairs, cracking our knuckles, calming our minds, it seems everyone wants Kana's room.
Speaking of Kana, weird, she doesn't seem threatened at all. She's just smiling, walking without a care in the world. I mean, she is picking the game, since it's her room.
