Someone that came from another world? A world with similar culture?
"W-what year did you... uh die?"
They were being awkward now that we had found out about each other. Getting a second glance, I could see small imp wings on her back and a tiny fang that continued to poke out of her lips when they closed her mouth.
"Twenty seventy. Astri Calender."
Her eyes turned wide once more.
"Twenty seventy two. Astri Calender!"
She was beginning to get very excited as we discussed our favorite things from our original world. Comparing history, we found out we truly came from the same world. We even lived in the same city.
"So, from the way you've been acting, I can assume that you either have split personality or something else?"
"We are kinda split personality..."
"...but we are actually twin sisters. We died together and came here together."
"It was scary, but amazing. Been here seven years now?"
I tilted my head slightly.
"A few months. Probably closing in on a year. Time is funky when dead, I guess."
She nodded slowly, processing my words before she smiled wide.
"We were given this body by a demon prince! What about you? Oh!"
"We've been kept pure even though we are a succubus! In case you were curious..."
Her face fell as she turned scarlet. They're pretty innocent for a demon of lust.
"My bodies owner was murdered as my soul crossed over. He gave me his life, the life of a Dark Lord and a Dark Elven King. I am albino though, so that's fun."
Pulling off my glasses, they watched as my ears pointed. Hers were pointy too, but much more bent forward.
"Would it be rude..."
"...to ask what your name was?"
I shook my head. After all, I've told everyone I care for.
"Do you really want to know it?"
Her eyes brightened as if she was talking with herself. Probably the sisters talking in unison on the inside.
"Lana..."
"...and Reina."
...Lilly?
"Yes Syrus. I heard them too. It's them... I'm sorry."
The air grew cold as my inner rage was beginning to burst out. Her eyes began to cloud with fear as I finally spat out my name.
"Syrus. Syrus Wick."
