Apparently, the rumors about me had me ranked in the top ten of the Academy. My place was taken by the eleventh, but my appearance would boot him back down... if I'm as strong as they think.
As I was fully healed, Nola escorted us up to the Academy, Myria vanishing from sight. As we were closing in, I couldn't help but stare in wonder. I'd only seen buildings like this in anime, but to see one up close... it was just breathtaking.
"Stop there. We do not allow any random passerby to enter the Academy."
Nola stepped forward, her hair hiding her scar again, and caught the guards attention.
"Sorry. We are both students here. Here is..."
She pulled out a small red square.
"...my pass. I got it from Magus Wyx."
I felt a small tug on my sleeve, turning to see Myria.
"Sy, over there. He took that succubus that you protected."
My gaze scanned where she pointed, deeper into the school. A young man was standing in front of a couple of girls, leading them into a dark corridor.
"He's... a demon."
It's not any of my business. I'll deal with him if I need to. My priority is the princess. Evelyn shouldn't be lured away by that... would she?
The guard finally let us enter, my own recommendation letting us in without trouble. Nola led me towards the office for the Headmaster.
"Ah. You've finally arrived young miss. We have been impatiently awaiting your arrival. If you have even a small excuse, I'll at least hear it out."
I sighed softly. This guy was younger than expected, but still more than twice my age.
"I was attacked by a Dark Lord leading a group of bandits. After I was rescued, I was unconscious for two weeks. I'm only here now because I just woke up today. I made a promise to be here, so I'm here now."
His face went from condescending, to worry.
"M-My apologies. Something so horrid, please come with me. I'll show you to your dorm room. You can start your classes within the week, but please take the time to recuperate fully."
---
Headmaster Ronan brought me to a decently sized room, warning me to be prepared for my roommate to return... for whatever reason I needed a warning.
Classes were still in session, to the best of my knowledge, so I removed my ring as well as my shirt. The scar was small, but still tender. As I slowly touched it to check for any inconsistencies, I heard a soft squeak from behind me.
"Sy..."
Her eyes pleading, Myria reached for me and crawled into my lap, her legs wrapping around my waist.
"I've been patient, but seeing you in so much pain... that fear made me scared I'd never get to even feel the pleasure of your touch again. So... so... please?"
Tilting her chin upwards, I kissed her softly.
---R18---
Myria faded from view as she curled under my blanket. She let out a satisfied sigh as I pulled my ring back out.
CLICK
Looking up, a silver haired beauty was staring into my eyes. Her glowing yellow eyes seemed to process my presence slowly until she turned on her heel, opened the door and looked at the room number.
I took that as a chance to slip my ring back on, climbed into my bed, and pretended to sleep. The door closed again and a soft voice came from nearby.
"If you're going to whore yourself out, do not do it in my presence. Your kind disgusts me to no end."
In an instant, I sat myself up.
"You got the wrong idea sweetheart."
I looked up at the young woman sitting in the bed opposite me.
"And what did I get wrong?"
I stretched slightly and slipped my ring off, grabbing my tome as well and flipping it open. In an instant, I was in my full glory.
"Huh? It was..."
"Yea, me."
I slid my ring back on.
"Illusion magic. Pain in the ass to pull off, but why do you think I made it into this school?"
She blinked slowly, her eyes processing me.
"Well at least you are not bad looking, though scarred all to hell. I am Evelyn Rasswell. I rank number four."
"Sylvia Wick. I'm a ranker, but no clue where. Nice to meet you, Princess."
I gave a flirty smile and laid back down.
"I'm a bit late, so if you would be so kind as to help me catch up?"
"Oh? Mind expounding?"
"Bandit attack. Lots of problems."
Her eyes went from warm and friendly to a soft scowl.
"Disgusting. Why do so many of their kind mass in this kingdom?"
I sat back up, again, and leaned forward.
"They're all dead. My friend made sure of that. I'd have helped, but I got hurt."
I looked down, realizing I was still shirtless. I feigned confidence as I grabbed my shirt from nearby.
"Then I shall thank them, if I ever meet them. I am glad you recovered, and it shall be my greatest pleasure to assist you in catching up. It has only been a short few days, but I shall do what I can."
So much for being an ice queen.
"She is quite the sweet young lady."
I looked up in time to see a soft smile on her face. It was full of warmth and pleasant to see.
