Chereads / My Road to the Dark King / Chapter 48 - The Princess

Chapter 48 - The Princess

Over the next few days of 'healing' I got to know more about the princess. The ice queen is a persona that she leaves at the door. She's her true self with me, which does make me feel kinda bad.

She's a happy and kind girl, that's excited to learn here. The way her eyes were glowing as she spoke told me she was sincere. That, or she's just a good liar... but I've caught her in a lie already. She broke under the pressure when I stared her down after I realized she was watching me change. I guess she's into girls? Can't blame her.

Right now, I'm just laying back. The usual. She's finishing up her work for the day, but she looks frustrated.

"Evee... you're pouting again."

She really does pout when her work gets to her.

The next moment her face hit her book. Muffled words came through.

"Fuck me. This is hard."

"Gladly, now lemme see what's wrong."

She lifted her head and glared at me, her cheeks a pretty pink.

"I should slap you for that, but it made me smile, so I won't."

Her manner of speaking also... started to get less formal. Though she has slapped me a couple times. Not my face, but it wouldn't hurt either way.

"Show me."

I got up from my bed and leaned over her shoulder, pressing my breasts into her back.

I heard her whisper slightly.

"Fuck me..."

Then she pointed into her book. Was the work that hard?

"Hmm. Substitute that for that, add those and divide that."

Low level HS math? I expected a hellnado of work.

I looked down at the confused princess. She stared up at me, her eyes glued to me.

"If you weren't a woman, I'd ask my dad to have us married. You're a genius..."

Ah. So this world is a bit dumber then mine.

"Who's stopping you?"

I gave her a flirtatious wink before spinning on my heel. In my careless speed, my glasses flew off my face... cracking on the floor.

"Oh... oh no."

Instinctively, I covered my pointed ears. Without my glasses, the effect vanished and I looked elven again.

Feeling a hand on my shoulder, Evelyn turned me around. She pulled my hands down, looking at my ears.

"More illusion magic?"

I nodded slightly.

"More so, an enchantment. It was kinda important... but this'll make fitting in hard tomorrow."

All I got was a small smile. It was absolutely adorable. What I got next... was hot breath in my ear.

"Ahn... Evee?"

I covered my ear again, the princess looking at me with a mischievous smile on her face.

"Elves have always done it for me."

She pressed herself close to me, our breasts squishing together.

"Evee. You're beautiful and all, and I'm definitely into this... as well as attracted to women, but umm... don't force yourself."

Evelyn looked up into my eyes, a mischievous smile still on her face. She kissed my chin before she stepped back.

Kinda disappointed to be honest, but she was forcing herself too much.

"Evee?"

"Don't worry. I do like you, and even more so since you're an elf. It's just, my father arranged a..."

She trailed off as a few tears slid down her face.

"Evee. Tell me."

My voice ebbed control as she stared back at me.

"He wants me to get married. He's forcing me to marry some stupid nobleman's son. A damn player that treats women like objects! I'm not an object. I don't want to be tied down by that bastard! I want the freedom I was promised!"

She broke down, my arms holding onto her.

"And you came onto me... because it could help?"

"Dummy. If I've 'sullied' myself with anyone besides that bastard, he won't even try to marry me. Besides, you're incredible and make me feel funny tingles... everywhere."

I sighed. Lying to her hurts a lot more now.
