Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

The Warrior Prince's eyes widened. "W-what did you say?" He stuttered. "Did you not hear me? I said I want you to be--" He was then cut off by the Warrior Prince's voice. "Yes, yes, I heard you damn it!" He yelled. "So is that a yes or no?" The Mage Prince smiled, leaning so close to the other's face. "Sure. Whatever. It's not like I really have to protect you. You're a powerful sorcerer, you can do that yourself" The Warrior spoke as he pushed the mage away from him, rolling his eyes. "It's not so cold here is it?" The warrior mumbled. "That's because we are inside the castle, this place is enchanted with magic, and you seem to be wearing very little clothing" The mage observed the other. The Mage Prince flicked his fingers and a bright blue light surrounded the warrior, replacing the thin clothing with better and warm red western suit with long sleeves, thick enough to keep the man warm, with black sleeves and legging on the inside. "That should keep you warm. Though you're a ninja, that clothing suit you very well" The mage smiled and for some reason, this smile makes the warrior feel so revolted. "I'm sure the others are outside having a warm cup of tea. We should join them" The mage left with a gleeful smile on his face and for some reason that the warrior could not know, he hates it, he despises it. He put his sword back to its place and followed the mage out.

One thing about the Warrior Prince, he hates the cold. His least favorite season is winter. The Princess probably did this on purpose as she knows how much the man hates the cold. He thought. He looked around the snowy and cold view, the flowers were blue and frosted, the tables and chairs are made of ice, everything is frozen! This freaked him out. He saw the mage sat near another mage with ash-gray hair and glasses. "Kuro-shi! Sit here!" He called the grumpy warrior. "It's Hyousuke!" He yelled but sat down otherwise. "Forgive me, we haven't had a proper introduction" The mage laughed. "I am Prince Hiromitsu of Kōri, the ruler of Hikari Kingdom" He paused. "This is my brother, The Moon Prince of Kōri, and the Barrier Prince of both Lands of Suna and Land of Kōri. That, right there, in front of Naoyuki is King Takahiro of Suna and the husband of Hiroki" He said pointing towards the direction of the three people talking on another table not so far from them. The title, Moon Prince shocked the warrior. Is he someone like Tsukuyomi? The warrior thought "Right next to the king is his younger sister, Princess Sakura of Suna" He then again looked towards the other table, observing the two unfamiliar people. She seems so close to the kid. He thought, smiling to himself. A woman with pastel orange hair and in a white off-shoulder dress arrived with a tray of sweets and another kettle of tea. Hyousuke looked at the woman and was stunned with her clothing. Does she not feel the cold? He thought. "This is Yui, my fateful assistant. Yui is very resistant to the cold winter as she is created with magic" The mage explained while the servant leaves. "You said you are the ruler of this land, doesn't that make you the king?" Hyousuke asked with curiosity painted on his face while he took a huge sip of the tea. The light and warm liquid surprised the warrior with its taste, he had never tasted tea before as he thinks they are just tasteless brown liquids. Both of the princes were not responding to his question so he looked up at both of them and caught a glimpse of the mage's dilated eyes. "Is something wrong?" The warrior asked, worried that he might have triggered something. The mage quickly gathered his posture and created another smile and looked towards the warrior. Again, this made him feel so revolted. What is up with that smile? The warrior's thoughts were fazed it hurt his head. "Hiromitsu is not yet to be crowned for reasons and he is not yet the ruler of the Land but only the kingdom" The Moon Prince answered knowing that his brother wouldn't be able to answer that. The warrior just nodded, not wanting to meddle with their business, though it does make him feel so curious about this family.

The other three soon left the Land and went back to their own, leaving the Archeologist, the mage and the warrior. Naoyuki, now sitting with his cousin and the prince spoke, breaking the ice that made the surroundings quiet "So, what role did the prince gave my cousin?" The mage sipped his tea and smiled at archeologist. "Knowing that the prince is a great warrior of Nihon, I thought that I will not change his title" He answered. Making Naoyuki look at them with a fazed expression. "What he's saying is that I'll be his Warrior Prince" Hyousuke answered, eyes closed, obviously displeased with everything in this land. "Care to explain why you know about this, Naoyuki?" The warrior asked with a calm but stern voice. "Oh, yes" The archeologist stuttered. "Well, Princess Tsukuyomi requested to send you with me and introduce you to the prince and help you find something to do here in this land" He spoke nonchalantly. "And what was the Princess's reason for this?" The mage asked, so calm and so steady, eyes closed and legs so feminine crossed. "She did not say" The archeologist answered. Naoyuki wanted to tell them about the Princess's recognition of the mage but decided against it. The air was cold and quiet again, filled with uneasiness. "I...I guess it's time for me to leave" Naoyuki spoke breaking another forming ice. "Where are you going?" The warrior asked with worry, not wanting to be left alone by this weird mage. "He's an archeologist, Kuro-shi. His job is to go to an expedition and explore numerous ruins and caves" Spoke the Prince, sipping his tea. "K-Kuro-shi?" Naoyuki looked at both of the princes with an amused and puzzled look. "It's Hyousuke damn you!" The warrior spoke, enraging with annoyance and anger. "You really don't know how to treat someone with a higher status than you do you?" The Prince laughed. "It's the nickname I gave him, by the way," The prince winked. Both of them giggled quietly. "Well, I'll leave you guys then. See you in three days, Prince Hyousuke"

As the archeologist left, Hyousuke started to feel weird and uncomfortable. The warrior ignored it and they just sat there for a little longer until the mage decided it was time for him to explain all the things the warrior needed to know.
