Chapter 9 - Jason Bourne in Magical World.

"Boss, boss..."

A skinny man rushed through the door without showing any signs of stopping until...

"What?" A ferocious voice suddenly resonated surrounding, abruptly stopping the person rushing towards him.

"A mage, in a hood, carried bodies,.."

"Breath first, you idiot. Speak slowly."

The man finally calmed down and started breathing in a slow continuous rhythm.

"A mage arrived at the guild today. He had taken that job of Reptilian-Cara, we didn't think he will be able to complete the job at first but..."

"Get to the point already." His boss was getting angry.

"That mage arrived in the guild and claimed he finished the job."

"Ok, completed the job. Big Deal. The hell are you getting worked up for?"

"The mage took out two leader corpses as proof."

"..."

"..."

"Say that again!"

"The mage took out two leader corpses as proof."

Everyone gathered around by the noise abruptly stopped and looked at the skinny man and their boss.

"Are you sure?"

Hearing the question the man nodded vigorously.

"All of you, grab your weapons. Today we are going for Mage-Hunting."

Everyone under the leadership of the person became ready for the upcoming battle.

...

However, this situation was occurring around the whole town. Everyone was getting ready for the upcoming battle against the mage.

The mage whom they were getting ready to kill, however, wasn't even a mage.

Eden had gotten himself stuck in a very dangerous situation. The more he thought about the situation the more felt familiarity about it.

How was he able to get himself stuck in a dangerous situation? Twice in a row?

Eden has already come up with a plan. First, he needed to get out of the guild house. Second, he needed to find a hidden place. Third, remove the cloak and get normal clothing.

Or, he could get out the guild, enter a clothing store, and get changed in normal clothing. After all, no-one had seen his face.

It's been around three minutes since everyone suddenly left the guild if he can make a run. He might still make it.

Hence without thinking any further he rushed out of the guild and directly entered the crowd.

As he looked around he knew he probably made the right choice. Even if someone followed him, as he walked further in the crowd he would probably be rid of them.

There were around five men following him. However, as this was a town the crowd was still giving them hard time keeping track of him. And on top of that, the sun was setting the course to the other side, which was a plus for Eden.

[Skill learned blending.]

As he was walking around, looking at the map he figured out a side path that was even more crowded than the one he was in. At the same time, he was looked for a clothing shop to get into, once he distracts those following him. After waking around in the crowd for three more minutes. Just when he slipped out of their views he made another turn at an empty alley.

After making sure no-one was looking and checking the map as an extra precaution he grabbed the cloak and hood and stuffed them in the inventory. Getting out of the alley he again walked together in the crowd and checked the map just to make sure. Although he could see two marks on the map was still following him. He knew they weren't quite sure anymore.

"I feel like Jason Bourne right now." Eden murmured under his breath.

Finally, when even the remaining two lost his track, he again turned around into another less crowded alley. After waking another one minute he entered a clothing store. He had no plans to get out of this shop right now.

He needed to make plans to get out of this situation without causing issues to himself. After all, he had a long journey ahead of him before he reaches the lighting city. Even the system didn't provide him with whole maps. It only covers around a one-kilometer radius from where he stood. In other words, he needed a world map.

If he made any stupid mistakes before he is out of town gates, he is a goner.

After buying some new clothes and changing into one and making sure everything was fine. Finally, he left the clothing store. Then turning towards another shop he bought a map of the Kingdom of Acnos. He also got some information regarding other kingdoms, continents, sea, oceans. And interestingly different worlds. There were the nether world, elf world, and many other different worlds. Somehow these worlds had an extension on this world, hence were interconnected with each other.

The kingdom of Acnos was located on the southwestern end of the Motaor Continent. Hence, he had to travel to the northeast direction for another tens of thousands of kilometers before he could reach the capital. After getting the reward from the Lightning City, his next course was the capital.

Lightning City was located around one thousand kilometers away from the Twinkle town. If he planned on reaching there as soon as possible, he needed to buy a horse, or he needed to buy a seat in the wagon. No matter how he looked at the situation, it was better to buy a horse.

"System, I want to buy a horse riding skill."

[Horse riding skill set cost 20sp.]

"I'll buy the set."

Turning around in another empty corner he took out a Reptilian-Cara body. Grabbing a knife he cut through it from the side and pushing the knife inside took out a core. He rushed through the process and pushed out the core. Grabbing the body and the core he again stuffed them inside the inventory.

After selling the core at the price of 50 gold coins he finally set out to buy a horse, when he abruptly stopped.

Somehow the system map was filled with red dots. This dot represented the people who were searching for him. What surprised him the most was the number of people shown on the map. There were about two hundred people within the area where he was standing.

After thinking for a while he concluded. Since they didn't know what he looked like, they planned to search every shop that bought and sold the cores.

"I need to hurry." whispering at himself, Eden left the shop and crossed the path and turned around another alley. It seems his luck hasn't run out yet. Then again he was pretty sure he won't be recognized even if he passed through them. Still, he didn't have any plans for testing it.

By night time, he had left the town and was on his way towards Lightning City.
