Chapter 13 - Punishment For Messing Up The World is "Expulsion"

"Break..."

Screaming in a very high pitch, the lady slashed her blue colored blade at the huge metal shield. The sword clashed heavily on the shield cutting through it all the way to the other side.

Clang...

With the heavy sound of the banging of the iron, more than half of the shield dropped on the rocky ground.

At the same time, the ground below them cracked open and sharp rocks pierce out of it and struck the being who was behind the crushed shield as if it had a mind of its own.

Rooaaarrr.....

Screaming out with the huge voice, finally, the green-colored leader of the goblins with a broken tusk rolled back its eyes confirming its death.

"Nicely done, leader." One of the subordinates of the group smiled and move towards the goblin. With a quick slash of his sword, the head of the goblin rolled out of its body.

"Have you checked on everyone that was taken as hostages?" The lady didn't turn around and kept walking towards the end of the underground cave.

A rock struck out the ground and hit the side of the cave crumbling the wall down to little bits. Three people rushed out of the ruins as if they were finally out of the hell.

"Thank you, thank you, Lady Sia."

All three of them kneeled and begin praising their savior.

"And finally including them, every hostage is considered safely rescued." The subordinate continued.

Sheathing the sword back in its holster, the lady turned around and left the cave.

"Any trouble you like to address about the fight?" The lady questioned her subordinates who were following her behind on their horses while returning towards the guild.

"None at all. If anything, this fight was too easily fought out. If it were like before, we should have lost at least two or three hostages every time." Spoke a member while patting on the holster. "These are probably the best weapon we have ever bought until now."

Until last month, in Lightning City, a weapon shop that appeared in the least crowded corner of the city was making a lot of ruckuses.

Weapons upon weapons, their quality unmatched. One of the swords kept on the showcase was claimed to be so powerful, that a single slash from it could cut through the entire city in half.

Suddenly people who bought the weapon from the shop started to form their own mercenary group and claim themselves as the heroes and savior of the world. Of course, no-one believed them, at first. But with the weapon they had on their possession others could not help but question their self-belief.

If a person could slay down the demon that everyone had before proclaimed to be immortal, how can that person not be a hero? The hero was a title that was given to those that had the power to slay down the demons.

If they wanted to destroy a demon they should have a hero on their title, even it the title was self-proclaimed. As long as they had a hero or if they had demon-slayer on their title, they could kill demons.

It was cheating. But as long as the demons were destroyed they didn't care whether their title was real or self-proclaimed.

Hence, the moment they bought a weapon from the shop and slain a demon, even if their former title was self-proclaimed, it changed into a real deal. Right now, Lightning City had already gained a new name, the City of Heroes.

"Too bad the seller disappeared into thin air." A subordinate spoke while shaking his head.

"He might have left the city." Another subordinate continued.

"But why?" Lady Sia finally questioned in a very pissed voice. "Am I not even a bit pretty?"

Sia had visited the shop more than anyone in the past month. She was a hero. She was a real deal. When her father learned she was titled as a hero he started teaching her how to fight. After practicing for more than two years, she had learned to fight using anything as her weapons. She also had fire magic as her core, which as an advanced mage her mother taught her to use.

When she turned fourteen, she went to the guild with her father and accepted a job to slay a demon, which she completed easily. Finally, she was allowed to take on the jobs by herself alone. She proved herself as a true hero. She was strong and beautiful. Hence, every man wanted to make her their partner. Of course, that never happened.

She continued slaying one demon after another. After another year, gathering another group of skilled warriors and mages, she formed a mercenary group.

There was no way she was going to waste her time being someone else partner rather than practice her skill. She needed to forge her path and be strong to save mankind and her subordinates.

That was until she met the weapon shop owner. Now even though her former group wasn't that much strong, it had transformed itself into a whole different league. Everyone in the group carried with them a weapon that was bought from the same weapon shop.

Sia even planned to add the shop owner to be her new subordinate, but when she bought the offer, he rejected it. It burned a fire in her heart. No-one had ever rejected her. No, she was the one who rejected others.

The next day she was rejected, she bought forward another offer, to be her partner, for life. She had heard about her beauty from everyone, so used it as leverage to win him over.

Who knew the next day the shop owner closed the shop and disappeared from the whole city. There was not a single sight of him leaving the city, but no-one could find him anywhere.

Everyone believed the owner was never gonna going to appear again, after all the place where the shop appeared on was rented land. And the place now was taken over by another shop. When the shop was taken over, there wasn't a single weapon inside. The owner had taken everything before he left.

Sia felt it was her fault that the owner left the city. He was gone like he was never there.

...

As for the person who was responsible for all those messes, he was being forcefully transmigrated into another realm.

"Ahh... My head." Eden screamed on top of his voice. "The hell was that for?"

[For messing up the entire world.]

[The heroes have turned into more of a villain because of the lust of power. If the host was allowed to stay in the world for long it would have tumbled down the entire balance. Hence, the system was forced to take the action.]

Grabbing the head with both hands, Eden slowly stood up and looked around. "Where the hell am I?"

All of a sudden a huge dump of memories and information rushed into his brain.

"Ahhh... What the hell is going on? Whose memories are these? Nothing like these happened the last time." Eden was gripping his head even harder.

Finally, the pain began to fade away slowly. Eden took in deep long breaths, finally calming himself down. He started checking on the memories he had just received, which clearly didn't belong to him.

"System, care to explain!" Eden spoke out while checking on his looks.

[Host transmigration was forcefully done in a rush. Hence the system had to make do with the body that had lost the soul quite recently.]

"This didn't occur last time because...?"

[The body back then had lost its soul for quite some time. Hence no memories were left.]

Finally, Eden got the gist of the situation. Everything that the body had previously gone through, he felt as if he was there himself. He wanted to let it go, but somehow he could not.

"Did I finally reached the point where I have to get revenge for the guy who was wronged?" Eden's face started twitching.
