About two hours later the plan landed in Mockingbird Heights Utah. Wednesday looked down on the ground out the window. She saw fog due to the fact the weather was calling for fog. There were so many houses and green pastures. Not one spooky forest except one near what looked like the house they were going to see.
"It looks cheery, but all gloomy at the same time." Wednesday commented to her mother.
Morticia looked outside the window herself and also saw what looked like the house they were going to see that day.
"Gomez dear, isn't that the house we're going to go see?" Morticia asked.
Gomez took a look.
"Indeed it is!" Gomez exclaimed. "I want to know if there are any ghosts!"
"Oh I do hope so! Maybe we'll hear from some of our beloved ancestors!"
"Oh goodie!" Wednesday exclaimed. "I hope we hear from Aunt Synge!"
"I do too darling, it's been too long." Morticia said.
The plan landed in the landed and once the plans came to a complete stop from rolling on its wheels, the pilot have first class passengers permission to get off first. The Addams were the first to be let off the plane since everybody seemed so eager for them to leave to their surprise in spite of how often it happens back home. Everyone carried their suitcases in the airport and went through the baggage line, showed passport ID's and photos and then they were checked in to Mockingbird Heights. Gomez purchased a rental car decent enough for an Addams and drove to the hotel they were staying.
Since Gomez (and the rest of the family for that matter) didn't care for nice furniture they purchased the oldest room they could find. They went up to their room which was number thirteen on the thirteenth floor. Lurch unlocked the door and everybody was in awe of the room. There were old cobwebs everywhere, furniture was old, and tables were covered in black cover which Morticia adored.
"This is marvelous!" Morticia exclaimed.
"Cobwebs!" Wednesday exclaimed. "Come on Pugsley lets see if we can find any spiders in them!"
Wednesday and Pugsley ran off to find spiders while Lurch prepared dinner and the rest of the family began to unpack.

Not to far away from the hotel was the haunted looking house the Addams Family intended to see the next day. What the Addams Family didn't know was there was a family living in that house. This family was called the Munsters. The Munster clan was a family full of monster. Well, mostly consisting of monsters.
There was a vampire named Count Dracula, his daughter Lily who was also a vampire and her husband Herman who could be the son of Frankenstein what with his flat head and electrodes popping out of his neck, their son Eddie who was a werewolf with very pointy ears, and finally, Lily and Herman's niece Marilyn. She didn't look like the rest of her family. Instead of being born a vampire, witch, or werewolf, she was a regular girl. Her hair was short, blonde and curly, her skin was fair toned and she wore dresses that most girls wore. Her room was also decorated the way most girls her age would decorate their rooms. With white and floral print and cheerful things. Whereas her family decorated their rooms like dungeons. Eddie slept in a coffin and there were black drapes in his room that prevented the sunlight from coming in. Her aunt Lily and Uncle Herman slept on a normal bed, but the mattress was two slabs put together with some blankets underneath. Their room was a dark color and there were spider webs and cobwebs everywhere.
Marilyn may not look like her Munster family on the outside, but on the inside she was all Munster. She enjoyed the old house they lived in, the bare yard, the dust and cobwebs everywhere, she also liked how the house made creepy noises at night and how Eddie would howl at the moon. Most of all she loved her family. She loved her Uncle Herman, her aunt Lily, and her Grandpa and cousin Eddie.
Aside from being all Munster on the inside, Marilyn's looks were often referred to as her 'handicap' by her family. Even though they loved her dearly they just couldn't ignore how she looked. They'd always say she wasn't as fortunate as the rest of them because she didn't look like them. Marilyn wasn't offended because she agreed. She knew she was different from her family. She would try to put it aside but to no avail. She had her days when she'd feel sad because she didn't look the way a Munster should look.
Today was unfortunately one of those days until she picked up a newspaper and saw a picture of their house and read the headline.
"Uncle Herman! Aunt Lily! Come and see this ad in the paper!" Marilyn exclaimed.
Lily and Herman came rushing in the living room to see what all the commotion was about.
"What is it dear?" Lily asked.
"I picked up a newspaper and read this.; House on Mockingbird Lane thought haunted." Marilyn read. "The haunted looking house owned by the family called "The Munsters" is thought to be haunted. People have been complaining about the noises that come from that house!"
"Can you believe it Herman! Our house might be haunted! Isn't that wonderful?!" Lily exclaimed. Herman didn't answer.
"Herman?" Lily asked.
"That is wonderful dear but did you not hear the part where the neighbors were complaining? What's there to complain about?! This house is just like any other!" Herman exclaimed.
"He is right aunt Lily." Marilyn said.
"I still think having your house considered haunted is quite the compliment." Lily said. "Who else do we know who's house is lucky enough to be considered haunted?"
Herman just stood in silence.
"Exactly." Lily said.

The next day Gomez woke everyone up bright and early the next morning. Morticia ordered Lurch to make everyone breakfast. Lurch made henbane juice, breast of alligator, and eye of tadpole for breakfast.
"It'll be swell to see the house!" Pugsley exclaimed.
"You've got that right Pugsley!" Gomez said. "And take this from your father, always be open minded to exploring new places....within reason of course."
"Yes, father." Pugsley said before putting a mouthful of breast of alligator in his mouth.
"Tish, what do you suppose we'll find?" Gomez asked.
"I suppose we'll find what anyone would find in any other haunted house." Morticia said. "Spider webs, cobwebs, old furniture, and delightful antiques!"
"Like our swordfish And two headed turtle?" Gomez asked.
"Exactly like our swordfish And two headed turtle." Mortician smiled.

After Lurch clears their plates and washed the dishes Gomez gathered everyone into the rental car. Lurch drove and everyone was disappointed that the car didn't give them the proper send off with its signature *BOOM*.
After about fifteen minutes the Addams Family arrived at the house. The house looked very old but so fresh and new at the same time. The colors were close to mahogany read and chocolate brown. The fence was made of stone rocks and the yard was bare and the trees leaves were lush and green. Gomez and morticia cringed. His haunted house could use some improvements. They approached the stairs which led them to the door.
"Darling shouldn't we knock?" Morticia asked.
"Indeed we shall." Gomez answered. "You never know who could come to the door."
"Maybe not a who...but maybe a what!" Morticia said happily.
"I hope it's a what." Gomez said before knocking on the door.
Footsteps approached the door and the door began to open. The Addams Family were greeted by the Munsters' niece, Marilyn.
"Hello, May I help you?" Marilyn asked.
"We were hoping we could look at this house." Gomez said.
"Look at my house?" Marilyn asked.
"Well, we thought this house was deserted." Morticia said. "After all it does look haunted."
"Oh!" Marilyn exclaimed. "Thank you! My aunt and uncle would appreciate the compliment!"
"Well were glad they'd appreciate it." Morticia smiled. "Who are your aunt and uncle?"
"My uncle's name is Herman and my aunt's name is Lily." Marilyn answered.
"May we meet them?" Gomez asked.
"Of course!" Marilyn exclaimed. "Aunt Lily! Uncle Herman!"
Lily and Herman approached the door and were surprised to see the Addams Family at the door.
"Who are you all?" Lily asked.
"We're the Addams Family." Gomez answered.
"They wanted to see our house aunt Lily, but I explained to them we live here."
"You'd like to see our house?" Lily asked. The Addams' nodded in response.
"Welcome to Mockingbird Heights! We'll give you the grand tour!" Lily exclaimed with joy as she led the Addams Family into the house.
