Volk carried Daiki while Tatsumaki got carried by Volpe, The two beasts were practically racing against time with this peculiar incident especially since Daiki who is supposed to be abnormally stronger than anyone is actually getting sick and his sickness is something that has never happened and seen before.
As the four of them approached the temperature started to turn wacky, sometimes its extremely hot to the point that one could argue that all of the water inside his or her body suddenly evaporated while getting his or her body burned into cinders, sometimes it's extremely cold to the point that someone could argue that his or her blood suddenly froze along with his or her entire body, or sometimes it is an exact amalgamation of the two where you can't tell what is happening anymore.
"This is as far as the two of us can go since we don't have any affinities with either of the two" Volpe said as she lowered her body in order for Tatsumaki to get off of her. The four of them were already half way through but one can see the obvious carbonization or frostbite that littered Volpe's and Volk's bodies.
"Tatsumaki we are counting on you to save Daiki" Volk said while Tatsumaki suddenly felt a really heavy pressure be placed on her.
Volpe was about to comfort Tatsumaki but Volk stopped him and shook his head to tell her not to.
Volpe was about to say something against Volk's decision but once she saw Tatsumaki's determined face she calmed down and started to retreat along with Volk back to their home to heal from their wounds.
Tatsumaki picked up Daiki's unresponsive body that feels devoid of any life as if she is carrying her lover's corpse right after a war which in a sense is correct at that specific moment in one way or another.
"Come on Daiki, please wake up!" Tatsumaki said as she slowly walked into the center of the Ice and Plasma elemental grounds.
"Ahhh!!!! This freaking hurts!!!" Volk started to whine as he washed his wounds along with Volpe.
The two are currently bathing on the pond that their home are actually encircling, this pond was supposed to be a normal pond where a giant tree is located in the middle but somehow over time it became a place where anyone who enters the pond gets to restore their bodies into its prime.
"...Don't... *hic* ...complain... *hic*..." Volpe said in between sobs.
'Say that when you're not crying yourself!!!' Volk wanted to retort but couldn't find the strength to do so.
Volk went closer to Volpe to inspect her frostbite and the carbonized parts of her body.
Once Volk was close enough he started to lick the parts where Volpe was injured.
"What are you doing?!!!"Volpe shouted but instead of a angry expression it was a expression filled with joy and affection.
"I'm not that heartless to actually retort to my mate who is hurt" Volk replied as he continued to lick at Volpe's injuries.
"I really love this side of you" Volpe said warmly as she looked into Volk's eyes with affection and with a hint of lust.
"That is why I don't show this side of me that often so that you won't get tired of me" Volk replied.
"So... um... you want to try it again?" Volpe asked Volk shyly.
"Of course and since our students are currently busy and not in the house let's also get busy" Volk replied.
"But... I don't want to expect to get pregnant again only to be crushed by reality" Volpe said with a sad expression which made Volk come closer to her.
"Hey... This time I'm sure that it would work, I mean there is a big difference this time around" Volk said as he rubbed his cheeks onto Volpe's.
"And that is?" Volpe could only ask as hope gets restored on her face.
"We are taking care of two children which made our paternal and maternal instincts to surface" Volk answered bluntly which made Volpe blush and about to scold Volk but couldn't find the reason or the words to since what he said was right and she really wants to actually have a complete family with her beloved.
"But wouldn't it be awkward later? I mean Daiki is pretty sharp when it comes to his sense of smell while Tatsumaki could probably use her intuition" Volpe asked with worry.
"Daiki and Tatsumaki would probably just congratulate us then tease us then help us out while saying 'It can't be helped' and after that everything will return back to normal" Volk replied with certainty.
"Mo~ Volk is sure unfair making that kind of face which made me fall for you in the first place" Volpe playfully complained and started to drag Volk into their cave house.
While Volk and Volpe were enjoying themselves in worldly pleasures quite literally their disciples or students are having a hard time.
"Come on!!! I wake up and I'm in another space?!! Does God have a grudge against me or something?!!" Daiki complained as he is currently in a space that is devoid of any light.
"Welcome~ It seems that your finally awakening~" A distorted voice that is filled with malice said.
"Hold on a minute!!" Daiki shouted as he raised his right hand and made a stop gesture while his left hand was placed on his temples.
"?" Daiki could somehow tell that the distorted voice is currently confused.
"Is this the cliché where I fight against my inner demons in order to control another great power that is somehow resting inside me? because I'd rather have the explanation why many different memories of different people are converging and mashing inside my head" Daiki said what he would rather prefer.
"... ... Don't you need power to defeat the guy in your oracle? who you yourself greatly fear?" the distorted voice was now getting clearer due to its obvious confusion.
"Yes your right, I want power! power that can instantly kill anyone that I want to kill!! but you got two things wrong since first of all I am not scared of the guy in the oracle, what I'm scared about is not being able to do anything as I could only watch the guy torture my family and second I don't want to kill him" Daiki proudly announced which made the distorted voice more confused.
"Don't get me wrong I won't spare him or anything or even give a speech about peace and love reigning over the world sort of stuff I am no Saint after all much less a hero that's Tatsumaki's part, Blergh! Even just saying about that subject makes me want to barf!" Daiki said with an incredible amount of disgust in his voice.
"I WANT EVERYONE WHO DARES TO HARM OR INSULT THE PEOPLE I LOVE AND CARE ABOUT TO SUFFER A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH!!! THEIR SCREAM WILL FUEL THE OTHER'S FEARS AS I SLOWLY~ BUT SURELY BREAK THEM ONE BY ONE!! UNTIL THEY BECOME OBSOLETE AND I FREEZE THEM OVER TO FOREVER REMAIN AS ICE STATUES THAT WILL LITTER MY DUNGEON WHICH WILL BE A WARNING FOR EVERYONE!! HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAAHAHAHAAAA!!!!" Daiki said with a crazed smile and tone, in truth Daiki's mind had already broke even before he reincarnated but he just sealed away the crazed part of his mind but the repeated torture of seeing people who he cares deeply about get tortured and killed right in front of his eyes made it slowly resurface.
"It seems I didn't even need to worry~" The distorted voice said as a silhouette of an adult version of Daiki became clear, the white in his eyes are black and his usual vibrant light blue eyes are now dark cold lonely sad and crazed as a large smile appeared on his face.
'Tatsumaki-sama!! You failed to save his mind!!!' Ikiad, the split personality of Daiki which became sentient due to some unknown reasons, shouted. Ikiad had been quietly watching over Daiki's err... his captain's thoughts every single second but even he didn't see any indication that Daiki was actually already fallen much much closer to the Dark Side!! He only needs one last crazy push in order for him to fully cross it.
'Tatsumaki-sama please don't get harmed to the point that captain will go berserk or let any of the ones he cares about die!! please don't let it happen!!!' Ikiad could only pray that Tatsumaki could hear him due to him no longer being able to manipulate anything.
"Well Hello there~" The silhouette of crazed adult Daiki suddenly appeared where Ikiad was.
"Hhhmmmmmmm?!!!!!" Ikiad wanted to scream with all his might but his mouth was blocked as he was slowly dragged into the abyss.
