Tatsumaki who still haven't left the now completely incased Daiki of black colored ice decided to try and melt the black ice using her own plasma which unconsciously made her body absorb the plasma based mana part of the land while Daiki's body also started absorbing the ice based mana that was chaotically running rampant throughout the place.
"Come on Daiki... I know you can hear me... so please, WAKE UP!!!" Tatsumaki shouted with everything she had due to desperation and worry.
"Gggggrrrrrrrrr..." A low growl could be heard around Tatsumaki but she couldn't just stay there and tank the hits like Daiki due to her class and build being different from him.
"Da-Daiki, I-I could r-really use s-some he-help right now" Tatsumaki said shakily due to fear as she felt the presence of around ten beasts of unknown species surrounding her but she is sure that those beasts are at the very least around level 70.
'What the hell is up with this development?!! Is this the fabled breakthrough opportunity that the main characters of stories get?!!! Sure I am a reincarnator and my lover here completely breaks the norm but I DON'T WANT SUCH A THING!!!' Tatsumaki started complaining inside her head as the beasts started getting closer.
"Seriously... Right after an unpleasant dream I get hit by plasma then getting surrounded by enemies much stronger than me" Daiki said in a lazy manner with a hint of arrogance along with his eyes still closed for unknown reasons which confused Tatsumaki and made her snap back into reality.
"Huh?" Tatsumaki was speechless since she can't even imagine Daiki speaking in such a manner.
"W-Wh-?!" Tatsumaki was about to ask who the boy right in front of her was but one of the beasts became impatient and launched itself onto the boy.
The beast who launched itself towards Daiki or whoever he was has characteristics that largely resembles a lioness along with a jaguars, it was a rather weird combination but the predator like eyes that eyed its prey could be felt from it.
Although anyone who is lower level that them would have fainted due to fear just because they were being eyed by this particular predator doesn't mean that there aren't exceptions.
Daiki or whoever the person right in front of her opened his eyes which revealed dark blue eyes yet it wasn't gentle nor was anger present in his eyes, there was only coldness present in those rather see through dark blue eyes that looked at the hybrid like monster that tried to confront him along with the chilling aura that started to envelop the monster which made it start to sweat in fear and unconsciously bow down before the existence before it.
Tatsumaki became totally speechless since the boy right in front of her or if he could be called a boy with his tall and slightly muscular build which could rival a certain popular web head, the original web head, along with his hair as black as a black hole his clothes looks a lot like Daiki's clothes but much darker along with baison like horns growing behind his wolf ears. He also has two wings which looked rather bat like but at the same time draconic in a sense along with a slender long black tail which has a trident like tip beside his black furry wolf tail. But at the same time Tatsumaki felt that the person right in front of her didn't fully finish his transformation and is currently in a weird half assed transformation state.
The monster could only try to appeal that it wasn't a harmful existence towards the boy as it started groveling as if it was pleading to be spared.
"You tried to kill me so why can't I kill you back?" Daiki or whoever the boy was asked with an icy yet arrogant tone along with a smirk plastered on his face.
'Daiki is slowly turning into a certain white haired, red eyed, eyepatched black and red clothed man with artifacts not belonging to any world he jumps into also who is the incarnation of unreasonableness!!!' Tatsumaki shouted inside her mind as she remembered a certain novel in her previous life that she and the person she unhealthily loves enjoyed.
'Is he still cosplaying as him? I wonder... then who is the one taking my spot as the bewitching vampire loli? or did he stop anyone from cosplaying as her due to him still remembering me?' Tatsumaki wondered as a stray tear dropped from her eyes then it was followed one after another, her heart just couldn't take it, the mere thought of the person she loved loving someone else other than her yet she herself couldn't do anything about it made her cry.
*Achoo!* Daiki sneezed as his body returned to normal along with the white of his hair finally regaining its dominance against the black part along with his eyes returning to its usual light blue. The monsters seeing this rare opportunity and quite possibly the last chance that they could escape started to run for their lives.
'Is someone talking behind my back by chance?' Daiki asked himself but immediately threw that thought out of the window.
"?" Daiki then started to hear some crying noises right behind him so he almost instantaneously went beside Tatsumaki and hugged her while having a strange feeling that Tatsumaki was thinking of another man but at the same time he felt that the man is also himself which only confused him.
"Tatsumaki, What's wrong?" Daiki asked gently while hugging her and trying to sooth her by rubbing her back.
"*Sniff* *Sniff* Its nothing *Sniff* I just *Sniff* remembered someone *Sniff* Don't worry *Sniff* we can no *Sniff* longer meet *Sniff* we're already *Sniff* lives apart afterall" Tatsumaki replied to Daiki with a bitter smile, seeing that made Daiki frown but at the same time happy then he arranged his feelings and came to a weird conclusion.
'Is she perhaps talking about the previous me? Is she perhaps... No Way, she is probably enjoying her life on that world... but why do I feel like my heart is aching just thinking about it?' Daiki wondered and decided to ask.
"Is that person perhaps someone with the name Ashton who has black hair, slightly brown eyes, a slightly fat build and someone who always sticks his nose to other's problems?" Daiki asked nervously but he didn't let it show or be heard.
"Y-Yes..." Tatsumaki answered with shock and confusion which only deepened at Daiki's next action which completely caught her off guard.
