The fight didn't last that long as I was knocked to the floor in a single upwards swipe. I got up off the floor, and then woke up. I heard a carriage roll to a stop. Can't believe I still haven't got over that. I wiped the tears off my face and got up. I changed my clothes to one of my black suits. I think the pure black outfit made me look cool. I grabbed my sword and sheathed it into my belt and walked out.
The carriage was giant and mainly made of white marble with green encrusted symbols of a white dragon. There was an armored guard sitting at the front of the carriage holding the reins of the 2 horses.
"Would you mind holding on a few minutes there's something I need to take off first." I quickly went to the flower shop I visited so often. As I opened the door there was the ringing of a bell overhead. In Front of me was my old friend, Diane, watering a 5 petaled pink and red flower. She had pink hair with red roots with pink eyes. She was wearing a pink dress with smudges of dirt. She was around 6" tall.
"Hey Diane, I need a favor." She put down the water and started laughing.
"How come you never come here to just talk? It's always business with you." She continued laughing.
"I always talk." She managed to stop laughing.
"I was just teasing you, so what do you need."
"I was wondering if you could put flowers on Almadina's grave while I'm gone…" I got out some gold coins from my pocket and attempted to hand it to her but she refused.
"It would be the least I could do for Almadina." I looked at her confusedly, did she know about her death as well?
"You weren't the only one trying to become her apprentice, her skills with alchemy was far beyond me. But I guess you won her favor, huh. When I heard about her death I went to go make her grave, but you beat me to that as well." To think that I was so stuck in my own feeling that I didn't notice Diane was going through the same thing. I sluggishly walked towards the door, as I walked out I turned my head toward her and gave her a thumbs up.
"Next time I come back to Corun you're getting a crash course in Alchemy!" She waved goodbye.
"I would like that…" What was that last part? Too late, I ran back to the Guard's hall. Just one more person! I did know some alchemy. The most important thing is gathering your own magical ingredients. All Monsters have the ability to use Magic. All things able to use Magic have a Magic pool, what they draw on to use magic, is fused with their body parts. You could kill a monster to get their Magical Body parts, of course, the same could be said for humans. I would never do that though.
I made it to the Guard's Hall and knocked on the door. Greeting me was Holly?
"Holly? What happened to your trainees?" She chuckled.
"It's Sunday, they don't work today."
"Oh well, I wanted to say bye before I went to the academy." I waved.
"Bye, I just wanted to say that some of my students are going to quit, apparently they're going to the academy. So give em hell!" We shared a laugh.
"I will!" I didn't say goodbye to Hamber and Katherine since I did that yesterday.
When I made it to the carriage I opened the carriage door and walked inside to hear the rambling of my -unfortunately- fellow professors. There were 3 of them but only one person was rambling.
"Can you believe the new guy gets to teach the best classes, I mean Magic and Weapons Combat! I'm a trained knight and we're stuck doing classes you find in a normal school. Not a Combat Academy. I bet he isn't even that strong." The owner of the voice seemed to want to look like a jerk. He had dark brown slicked-back hair, he had hazel eyes. He had one leg over another with his hands placed on his knees. He was wearing a popped collar on his long robed blue suit with white highlights. I smiled a bit.
"Really? Would you like to test your hypothesis?" He started laughing and stood up.
"Let's go." He started walking towards the exit of the carriage.
"How about you don't?" A woman from behind him said. I tilted my head to look at the other professor. She had short dark green hair that only went down to her eyes, her tan skin was the same color as her eyes, and she was wearing glasses. She had a black vest over a white long-sleeved shirt. I put my hand on my slicked-back "friend".
"She's right there'll be time for that later." I sat down next to the girl with glasses after closing the door. The carriage started moving along. I looked over at the last professor on the carriage. She had ruffled brown hair that went down to her neck, she had tan skin and some freckles, and she had brown eyes. I started sleeping in the carriage.
I felt a small tap on my shoulder. I woke up yawning and saw professors walking out of the carriage. I decided to join them. As I walked out and sunlight hit my face I caught a glimpse of the school. I had to take a few takes before my eyes could adjust.
It was made of white marble, There was a central tower that was giant, it was surrounded by dozens of other smaller pillars, This was on top of a giant school that seemed to be giant it had to be around a mile long! There were green accents like those on the carriage. But the thing that really surprises me was the dozens of small white dragons flying around the school. I guess this really is the White Dragon Academy!
