As I removed the cupboard, there was a door behind it. I turned the knob. Surprisingly it wasn't locked. When I opened the door I could see stairs leading down into the darkness. I used ππππππππππ to lighten up the area.
After going 15 stairs down I reached a room. The room had many weapons and equipment which were of top quality. It was quite unimaginable for my simple parents to have such expensive equipment. The armors were made of mithril which was the strongest metal. Previously I had never thought about it but now I realized that they never did any job but we were never short on money. They said that they were adventurers but even the royal knights do not have mithril armor.
(Maybe they are former nobles or maybe royalties or something)
Anyways I didn't ponder about it for long as I could ask them any time about it. I looked around the room as I scanned through all the weapons. Then suddenly I heard some noise.
(What, have mom and dad returned? But it shouldn't be time yet)
The noise came again but I understood that it was somewhere in the room.
(Is it an animal maybe. A mouse?)
It was coming from the opposite end of the room. I walked toward it with my guard on. As I illuminated that area I saw a single coffin place on a stone slab.
(A coffin? Is there a dead body inside? Maybe a vampire?)
The coffin moved. The noise which I had heard earlier was from the coffin.
"Come... come here..."
(What is this? Where is this voice coming from)
I don't know why but I started walking to the coffin and placed my hand on it.
I bite my lips.
(Huh? I just lost my self there. Maybe the thing inside had charmed me)
"Open it"
This time the driving force was even stronger. I was forced to open the coffin. It didn't have a corpse but a broad sword. It was chained as if it were a monster constrained from attacking people. It had a deadly aura. There was a slight scent of blood in the air.
(No way in hell can this be an ordinary sword, can it?)
Unable to resist, I touched the sword. On touching my hand was cut and blood dropped on the sword. As soon as the blood dropped on the sword it broke the chains and the deadly aura spread everywhere. I was paralyzed. The sword was floating in the air as it overwhelmed me. Something came out of the sword and enter me.
I could hear it saying" ahahahahaha... at last, I am free. I will take over your body and then form my army again and take over the world hahaha."
Arrggghhhh
I felt pain. It was like my whole body was breaking down. My mana increased explosively. My eyes were red. There was a dark aura cloaking me. My consciousness was fading.
My soul was breaking down.
My body was being taken over.
My mana burst and there was a huge explosion. There was nothing left of our house. All of a sudden when the pain was at its peak the thing which entered me was expelled out forcefully.
"Arrggh.. wha.. what was that? Why did your soul have that? Who are you" it said. It had formed like a black cloud now. The sword also appeared before and the cloud entered the sword. Mom and dad appeared out of nowhere.
"Zack, get away from the sword" Dad rushed to me with a terrified look on his face.
Before I could say anything chains came out from within my chest but these chains were glowing as compared to the ones which were used to seal the sword. The chains covered the sword and disappeared with the sword. I felt power rushing within me. As the injuries which I had got before were healed instantly.
