Lately, mom had got interested in my previous world. I spent a lot of time telling mom about my previous life. Mom was especially curious about guns. In my previous life, I had used guns when I had just begun diving in a dungeon so I was quite knowledgeable.
After I had told her everything guns that I knew, I proposed an idea of making a gun. Although guns were common in my previous life and not many used them except newbies but in this world, it would be useful where there was no long-ranged artillery. Making a normal gun would have been no big deal but what we and decided to make was a gun that used mana as the bullets.
After cracking our brains on it for a long time we were ready with the blueprints. All we needed was a blacksmith. Not any blacksmith but an excellent one. Which would be none other than a dwarf.
After the previous war, the dwarf separated themselves from society. The reason for it was that although they didn't participate in the war they were worked to the bones for the production of weapons. They blamed themselves for being partly responsible for the war. They thought that if they had not produced weapons the war could have been stopped a long time ago.
There were rumors that a few dwarfs were spotted on the other side of the mountain range. Then started my endless search for the dwarfs I used long-distance teleportation continuously to cross the mountain ranges and then searched the forest.
I became 13 years old. I found all kinds of monsters, treasures, and ruins but couldn't find a dwarf. It was the hottest day of the year. Ash decided not to come with me that day, due to the heat. The sun was high up in the sky scorching my skin. Despite being deep in the forest the heat was unbearable. The monsters too keep attacking as if they were frenzied by the heat. My head was spinning. a while later it was hard to even stand. Although I had drunk a lot of water the heat wasn't subsiding at all. Then it was all black.
I woke up to see an unfamiliar ceiling above. I looked around. The room was small made up of earth. The ceiling was so low that it would be hard for an adult to stand in the room. It was getting dark outside. I got up and stood near the window to look outside when a little girl entered the room. She was about a little shorter than me. Her face looked like a red plump and her hair was brown like it was covered in mud.
"Did you bring me here"
"yes" She handed to a cup filled with a green liquid. I drank unreserved knowing that at least my savior won't give me poison. the drink was a little sour at the same time sweat. Additionally, it was chilled with cooled my body.
"Thank you, little miss, for saving me and taking care of me"
"Who are you calling little miss I am already 15" She seemed quite angry.

"I looked outside the window to a little village bustling with little people. It was what I had been looking for the past year The dwarf village.
"Is this the dwarf village"
"yes"
Tears rolled out. After so long I found a dwarf. Even mom had told me to give up the idea of searching for a dwarf but I still kept on and now I was able to achieve my goal.
