"Ah-ooh-ga"
A horn blared through the camp. 'Are we under attack?' I thought.
"WAR GAMES." A girl from afar shouted.
Everyone began cheering and the demigods in armor headed towards the training grounds while the rest of the demigods ran to their houses to get ready. Evan helped me up and we headed to my cabin.
~~~~~~~~
When I entered the cabin it felt really cozy and comfortable. I looked around and saw a small living room and table. An egg seat was dangling from the roof pulling the entire room together. I stared in awe and slowly stepped in.
Evan walked in and began shivering. 'Why was he so cold? It is nice in here.
Regardless, I walked around the structure trying to find a blanket for him and found my bedroom. It had a queen sized bed and a place to put storage at the end of it. Next to the bed was a night stand that complimented the color of the light blue wall. Then there was a vanity with a huge mirror.
I stood in the mirror wondering if I really did look a lot like my mother. I wanted to meet her and see her. Then again, she doesn't exactly like demigods. I reconsidered my thoughts of meeting her.
I grabbed an extra blanket found on my bed and walked up to give it to Evan. He was still shivering cold. "How can you stay in this weather?" He asked.
He dangled it over his shoulders and pointed to the armor I was supposed to wear.
I went to my personal bathroom to change into it and I could already tell it would be hard to walk in it. Every time I put on another piece I melt the metal weighing me down. Maybe 30 pounds worth? 'How are you supposed to fight in this?' I thought.
I walked out of the bathroom and Evan's eyes glued to me. A smile crept on his face. "Your ready!" He grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of the cabin and down the hill.
He approached the area all the demigods were meeting at. They started marching into the woods until they found an opening.
The same man I saw in the office Evan and I were talking at stood there explaining what we were going to play. "Today's game is Capture the Flag!"
Groans came from the crowd. "We always play that! Lets do something different!" Someone spoke up. "Like Winter Prisoner Escape."
Everyone nodded in agreement. "Okay, the blonde man said. "How do we suppose we play it when there is no snow?" He asked.
Everyone looked around in disappointment. Then one boy pointed at me, " What about her? She can summon snow." Everyone began to back away realizing I was near them.
Yet everyone nodded and all eyes went to me. I have only summoned ice, not snow. 'Now do you want me in your head?' The voice said.
"Yes," I whispered underneath my breath. "Can you please tell me how to summon snow?"
'Place your hand over the ground and think of a happy moment in your life. Then bring your arm back and swing it as if you were tossing a baseball underhandedly.'
I thought of a great moment, the time we went on that Cruise in Peru. One of the best memories is me scuba diving there. A swing my hand and snow appeared all over the ground. I picked up my feet that were slightly submerged in the snow.
Everyone was staring at me with big eyes. 'Isn't that what they expected?' I thought.
I leaned over to Evan and asked, "Why is everyone starring at me like that."
"Your eyes were glowing blue..." he replied.
I gave him a worried glance and he looked a little terrified. 'Great!' I thought. 'Now my best friend was sacred of me!'
He put his hand on my shoulder reassuring that he was fine with me. 'I wonder what he truly thinks of me.' I thought.
"Okay," the guy with blonde curly hair said clapping his hands together. "Who wants Rital on their team?"
At first everyone was silent for a few seconds. I felt really embarrassed, but what should I have expected. 'No one likes me anyways, besides Evan. And he might not even want to be my friend.' I thought.
Then the caption of the Red team came forward.
"We will take her. We are playing a game all about snow. Having a girl who can summon it is the best advantage we can have." He chanted.
He handed me a helmet his a red tasel at the top. "Let the games begin."
Evan marched over to his side and looked at me with a smirk on his face. 'He thinks his team will win. Not a chance.' I thought
