We both went downstairs to see who is this friend whom I don't know. Holy shit! What the hell is he doing here. Seriously? Does he wants to involve my mom in this too. I was so vexed seeing Shane talking to my mom and if it wasn't for my mom's sake I would have gone and slapped him on his cheek better than previous slaps. How could he come to my house? Has he lost all his senses? But wait how does he knows my address when I didn't even told him name.
"Iya... "
He said happily as soon as he saw me. Good pretender I must say. I didn't comment anything as I don't want my mom to know about all the troubles he gave me today.
He turned to Ellis,when I didn't respond and said,
"Hey! Ellis seems like we are gonna have so much fun tonight. "
I could tell Ellis was about to lose his shot right at the moment but he glared me before saying anything and my eyes begged him to obliterate. He simply smiled and did not created any scene. Mom excused herself and went back to the kitchen,where she was preparing snacks.
"What the heck are you doing here?"
I scolded him in a low voice.
"What do you mean by, what I am doing here? Obviously I came to meet my friend."
He said and sat on the couch making himself comfortable.
"Who told you the address?"
I asked, hoping he could answer atleast this question seriously.
"I followed you."
He said while looking all around the house. He is a total creep.
"You did what....? "
I can't believe,he followed us all the way from school to here just to pester us.
He did not responded just smirked. Ah! He is making me sick.
"Get the hell out of here shane or you will have to pay for it really bad."
Ellis warned furiously but Shane didn't bothered.
"Shane.... "
Ellis shouted and I asked him to hush up as my mom will come listening our loud noises.
"Easy asshole, I am not here for you. I came to meet Iya."
He said.
"But she doesn't wants to see you."
Shane said.
"You won't decide that. I think I needed to apologize to her. So here I am. You can leave now."
He was pissing Ellis.
"Enough. Why are you here Shane, I am asking for the last time or else I'll call 911 for breaking into my house."
I warned.
"Whoa!.."
Shane laughed.
"That's what makes you different, you know."
He chuckled. I was nauseous now.
"I am here to apologize. I think I made you lose one of the things that was close to you and that's why you cried today. Tell me how could I make it better?"
For a moment I thought he was serious and genuinely sorry. But how can he be genuinely sorry for something, he is a jerk after all.
"It's OK. I am fine. You can go now."
I said hoping, he would finally leave. Ellis glared me, bemused.
"Can we be friends then?"
What? Seriously he wants to be my friend? Why? I held myself together and let a breath out and finally spoke,
"What's your problem?"
I asked as politely as I could.
"I just wanna be friends with you, what's your problem? Why can't you trust me for once?"
He said and I think was being serious.
"OK I will be your friend. But on one condition, you will not create any more ruckus now. I already have had enough."
I said pleading him.
"OK if that's what you want."
Shane agreed.
"Can I stay as we are friends now?"
He asked and I wasn't able to take it anymore. UK glanced at Ellis and he said,
"You should probably leave now, Shane."
"I am talking to her."
He answered without looking at Ellis.
My mother arrived with snacks and asked why me and Ellis were still standing. We sat on the couch and my mom served us snacks and said,
"Seems like you have got some good looking friends Iya."
Mom please stop embarrassing me, I begged in my heart. Shane smiled and Ellis just glared at Shane.
"Why don't you guys watch some movie? I have got some really good collection of it."
My mom suggested.
"Yes we would love to."
Shane answered before we could utter a word.
"Great then. I'll play it for you."
My mom said and turned the TV on and left.
I thought commenting on it would be useless so why not just watch the movie silently.
We were watching movie silently and the sun was about to set. When Shane stood up and said,
"I need to go now."
He grabbed his car keys, panicked and left hurriedly, leaving me puzzled. And to my more amusement Ellis stood and said,
"I should also get going. Thanks for the snacks."
He left without waiting for my response and I wondered how would he go back to his home when I was the one who carried him here from school. I was so confused at their sudden change of mood. They fought each other that the other person should leave and now they both are gone without telling anything and it happened so quickly for my mind to process on it. I cleaned the table and washed dishes.
"Where are your friends honey?"
Mom asked.
"They left."
I told.
"So early. Why?"
My mom questioned.
"I don't know mom. Just things came up. I am tired,so I am going to my room."
I told her. And went to my room to fetch some rest. I was quickly caught by sleep as soon as I entered the sheets. It was midnight when I heard a very creepy noise, I was awaken by the weird noise and I sat on my bed,frightened. What could the noise be? It was weird. Really very weird. It was like an animal was in search of something. I went to the window of my room because it felt like the noise came from nearby. But when I peeped outside it was all black and complete silence. I was confused and went to bed after that but the only thing I did on bed was to twist and turn on it. I can't sleep the whole night because of that spooky sound.
